The main problem isn't that we are up against superior forces.
The main problem is that most people are asleep, and don't even realize that our flag-waving leaders are hell-bent on taking away our freedoms, our options and our money.
The main problem is that most people are still in the matrix, dreaming that the powers-that-be are on their side.
Once Neo woke up to the reality of the matrix, he had a fighting chance of doing something about it.
(If you haven't seen the movie The Matrix, let me put it in a more day-to-day context: If you're camping, and a tick is burrowing into your finger, and you're dreaming that a puppy is licking your finger, the problem isn't that the tick is an overwhelming opponent. The problem is that you're dreaming, so you can't do anything to shake off the bugger.)
Some Powerful People Have Challenged the Matrix - And Failed
In 2000, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Ginsburg did something unprecedented. In her dissenting opinion in the Bush v. Gore case (which threw the election to Bush), Ginsburg ended her opinion with the words "I dissent".
Believe it or not, this is a big deal. The standard etiquette for a judge - especially a supreme court justice - writing a dissenting opinion is to end with the phrase, "I respectfully dissent". By leaving out the word "respectfully", Ginsburg dropped normal judicial etiquette to protest an unconstitutional decision, more or less quietly declaring that a coup had occurred. She was, in her own way, challenging the matrix.
Similarly, when Congressman Peter DeFazio and the entire Homeland Security Committee of Congress were denied access by the White House to Continuity of Government Plans (the Committee had all necessary security clearances), DeFazio made a public speech to Congress, and stated "Maybe the people who think there’s a conspiracy out there are right”. In his own way, DeFazio was challenging the matrix.
Similarly, former high-level intelligence officials, military officers and others have pointed out that the government's story about 9/11 is hogwash. This was their way of challenging the matrix.
Each of these people were, in their own way, trying to wake people up to the fact that the U.S. is no longer a constitutional government. They have helped wake up some people. But they didn't succeed in waking up enough people to make things change.
Why not?
Because its a numbers game. And a handful of even the bravest, most dedicated and powerful people are not enough to reach the masses.
Its Up to Us
Its a numbers game.
If you've ever studied compound interest or calculus, you know that a lot of little things can together add up to really big things. Similarly, the actions of millions of ordinary people will have more effect than those of a few powerful people.
Its not Morpheus and Neo and a few others versus the machines. There are already millions of people who are awake. Those millions have to - ourselves - wake up the slumbering masses.
Rather than a supreme court justice or congress person doing it for us, its more like there's one awake person in each grouping of sleeping matrix inhabitants. Each and every person who has woken up to reality has to wake those up around him or her. As the saying goes, we are the heroes we've been waiting for.
So How Do We Do It
There are many ways to help wake up other people, and you should give your suggestions.
In the meantime, I suggest the following approach . . . one that is accurate and hard-hitting and which bypasses the dreamer's defense mechanisms.
I suggest that everyone of us put the following message on buttons, stickers, flyers, posters, freeway blogs, websites and all other possible media:
Wake up.
You're dreaming.
America is being taken over by fascists.
Its not like we can give the message once and then we're done. People have to see it everywhere they look, so that they can't get the message out of their heads ... so that it is frequent enough that the dreamer can't ignore it ... so that each time it is seen it builds on the prior flashes of awareness.
Like the parent who gently but insistently tells their young child that they're having a nightmare, and its time to wake up, it takes gentle but persistent repetition.
Its a numbers game ... both with the number of people spreading the messages and the frequency with which they do it. Repeat the message like a slogan, like a mantra, like a battle cry.
I suggest using red, white and blue colors and American flag imagery in these messages, so that they will penetrate past defense mechanisms and go deeply into people's minds.
If enough people do this, we can wake the American masses up from the matrix. THEN things can improve. Because once the majority is awake, they will quickly change things.

This is the pill which wakes people up.
That is why we are here. We know that this is the red pill that people need to take in order to climb exterior to the matrix.
The more that we repeat any version of the red pill, the more often the red pill is approachable by the masses.
The matrix repeats its hypnotic chime. It has to to keep people asleep.
The "911 Truth" repeated message interrupts that chime. It starts to crack the hypnotic spell.
We can repeat the Truth message. The more we do, the more people who wake up.

The MATRIX fears our numbers...
The very, very simple reason that "the other side" expends so much energy and creativity to control and to misinform us is because they are deathly afraid of our sheer NUMBERS OF TRUTH SEEKERS...
This is an important truth to never forget...
Lets be civil...lets be informational...lets be our own media...lets work in our own local communities and build the movement upward from there...
If we do so, we will be ASTOUNDED at how many folks out there are thinking the way that we all are thinking...
Folks are less asleep than is commonly thought...
BUT...if we confront them as being stupid...WE LOOSE...yet if we approach them as being nice folks but somewhat underinformed...usually we will discover yet another ally...

I have to "respectfully" disagree with your conclusions here
You know, most people don't know what fascism is. Orwell remarked in the late '40s that the word fascism had degenerated into a generalized term of political opprobrium. And nowadays many would not even recognize it as that.
And though this administration is the worst in a long time, this stuff isn't really new. 9/11 was merely a particularly audacious con by the power elites.
No, to wake the masses, we need to lead them to specific conclusions. And what's better than 9/11 was a false flag trick?
Frankly, most Americans don't care much that Iraq didn't have WMDs, or care that federal habeas corpus has been unconstitutionally suspended (or, more like it, cancelled). They're too ignorant and lazy, to care, conditioned to think of their regime as a favorite sports team, thanks in no small part to generations of indoctrination by the CM and the foul (which by the government's laws must either be government-owned or government-"accredited") "education" system.
But almost nobody likes being massively duped, with their fellow citizens mass-murdered in the bargain. Lead the people to that truth, and they will rise against their oppressors.

The forces that keep the people asleep ARE SUPERIOR to those currently trying to wake them up. They have more money, more power, more influence, more airwaves, more clout, more credibility, more access, more experience...
What's more: most people know there's little to no benefit in "waking up" as they'll still have no power to change the matrix in our fake democracy. The corruption and bastardization of our system is so thorough, that I'm finding it hard not to be a defeatist.
Anyway, I appreciate people who are hopeful and optimistic ... even if I'm not.

the American Revolution only had 45% popular support
the tories were down to 15-20% (Bush Admin getting close, and hasn't been nearly the tyrant to Americans that King George was).
That leaves 35-40% that didn't support either side and were caught in the middle.
The gene pool can't have changed much in the last 200 years, but i think nearly 100% of Americans now think the Revolution was justified and a good idea.

I have more faith in people...
I am out in the streets between one and tree times per week from Vancouver, to San Francisco, to all around the Puget Sound, to Boston, to Portland, to ground zero, to WDC, to the Pentgon...and I stand firmly by my claims that many folks KNOW that what is going on right now is really BAD...and that their government is lying to them...
...and that they want CHANGE!
If you are one who believes that "every" person needs to believe and perceive things just as you do for YOU to have confidence in yourself, then, its clear that your self-defeatism is inevitable and that you see others as not reaching your expectations. But life doesn't work that way because there is no SUPREME answer, or "ultimate" understanding...about anything.
However, if you come to believe that most folks are really good people and want to do good things and to be nice to folks and further, want a good governmnet, then you can perhaps develop the trust that as the mases become INFORMED...that they will make the right choices WITHOUT your own personal defeatisms or opinions involved.
For the most part, these folks are really not that different than you and me...we just yap it up in public more than they do!
FYI...
I get constant feedback from the street that folks, if not factually, certainly "intuitively" know whats up out there...and that the 14-24 years olds are THE BEST amongst us because they have been raised in the New Millenium's "information age"...and thusly, they are fearless and seek truth automatically...with their fingertips..
...and that they also want things to CHANGE...
Might I ask...how often are you out in the public sharing your thoughts and listening to theirs?
Anyway...I'm hoping that CSNY retool their old song: "Teach Your Children Well"...into..."Teach Your Parents Well"...because the kids are INTO IT...and the parents and grandparents are still on autopilot...for now!

You are right. There is an upward trend with the street attitude towards viewing the Truth about 911.
Repeating our message of having people LOOK at "911 Truth" makes the subject more acceptable and of interest.
911 Truth holds the key to unlock the door to a new awakening.
