Programs Which the Government Claims Are Aimed At Foreign Enemies are being Used Against American Citizens within the U.S.

The U.S. government has repeatedly claimed that it was launching aggressive programs solely at foreign enemies, and then launched them at American citizens. For example:

Can anyone see a pattern here?

Given the above, should we believe that the following programs will just be limited to foreigners?

  • The Pentagon is running an artificial intelligence program to see how people will react to propaganda and to government-inflicted terror. The program is called Sentient World Simulation:
"U.S defense, intel and homeland security officials are constructing a parallel world, on a computer, which the agencies will use to test propaganda messages and military strategies.

Called the Sentient World Simulation, the program uses AI routines based upon the psychological theories of Marty Seligman, among others. (Seligman introduced the theory of 'learned helplessness' in the 1960s, after shocking beagles until they cowered, urinating, on the bottom of their cages.)

Beginning in 1999, the government has entered into a series of single-bid contracts with Halliburton subsidiary Kellogg, Brown and Root (KBR) to build detention camps at undisclosed locations within the United States. The government has also contracted with several companies to build thousands of railcars, some reportedly equipped with shackles, ostensibly to transport detainees."

But many people have pointed out that the laws governing the program are so vague that they could lead to the imprisonment of American citizens for simply speaking out against the government (see also this)

Actions which the government claims were launched against non-U.S. citizens have in the past been used against Americans within the United States. Why should we believe any differently about its new, even more tyrannical programs?

It is time

for the people to assert their authority. Look at the entire Homeland Security apparatus and jargon, thrust upon us, not by 9-11, but by the Hart-Rudman report, which in 2000 invented the turnkey operation we call the war on terror. Who among us wanted to sign on to this stuff? Nobody, but it was going to happen anyway, regardless.

Uncut pure propaganda has been delivered to the American masses on a unprecedented scale since 911. It is truly surreal when you know there is no Santa Claus, but many around you can't seem to go there. Of course they are spying on Americans. Thanks to the law breaking executives at AT&T and Verizon you have no privacy. Deregulation of Radio and Television Station ownership has allowed an unbelievable amount of message coordination and control. Now we learn that the retired American Generals were doing what we suspected they were doing, as they commented about the Iraq invasion and occupation. They were paid shills.

I find it easy to extrapolate that this same type of program was employed on the morning of 911, and will continue, no matter what they "tell us".

A classic tactic

...used by all tyrants throughout history. What we need to do in order to learn from our ancestors' mistakes is to not so much focus on the tyrant himself, but the system around him that has created the tyrant. Capitalism itself needs to be put on trial after the 9/11 co-conspirators are convicted. George Bush and Dick Cheney did not do this alone, and it is foolish to solely blame the government for 9/11. If anything Bush and Cheney are the fall guys for the guys behind the scenes who were really doing most of the planning.
