Would The United Nations Be Able To Do A Real Investigation Into The Attacks?

I know a lot of people have an opinion about the United Nations, and that we tried LONG AGO to get it to investigate the attacks, and they ignored us, but would this be a viable option for us to focus our efforts? I saw that Pakistan recently asked the United Nations to investigate the Bhutto Assassination.

The UN was holding it's annual General Assembly in NYC when the false flag attack happened .
Hundreds, if not thousands, of leading Government-officials from all Nations on the face of the Earth
where present in NYC and where prevented from returning to their countries for 3 days following the attack, unlike the Sauds and the Bin Ladins .
Where was the security that such an event requires ?
I think they all got the message ...

If the UN wants to investigate 9/11, then that's very nice, but it's hardly the be-all and end-all of what we want. We need a non-partisan international commission and our own people (i.e. most probably clued-up family members) on it. If we are to accept the results of a new investigation, we need people we actually trust doing the investigating.
I know...
Just thinking out loud.
Do these people deserve to know how and why their loved ones were murdered? Do we deserve to know how and why 9/11 happened?
