Great idea

McClellan is an unusually valuable possibility for asking questions. If someone wanted to, they could track a large number of different authors at their book signing events and use blogger to encourage people to ask questions. They don't even have to be insiders. They can be left gatekeepers or even better, sympathetic authors.

With McClellan , because he has become relatively sympathetic compared to what he used to be, I just gave him a private sealed note asking him to look into certain things. I told him that he was welcome to research the matters I raised on his own if he doesn't want to correspond with me.

David Letterman was recently quoted as saying McClellan made private disparaging remarks to him against Cheney.

With McClellan I think its crucial NOT to be hostile. He has such potential.

BOOK TOURS!

I recently spoke with Col. Ann Wright (DISSENT Voices of Conscience) and James Douglass (JFK and the Unspeakable) on their book tours and provided both with 10-12 different 911 Truth DVDs. They both expressed gratitude and said they would be taking a look.

In our conversation, James Douglas mentioned DR Griffin and Barry Zwicker. 911 The Myth and the Reality and The Great Conspiracy were two of the DVDs I was giving him. He really seemed pleased.

I agree

I think McLellan is an unusual position. I feel it would be genuinely possible to get him sympathetic to our views over time, and he likely knows stuff that would be of value...possibly things he doesn't even realize that he knows, sort of like Norman Mineta. He could be of great value.

From what I know of him, he also seems to be a pretty decent individual with something of a conscience. In the future, I suspect some of our best information will come from individuals like him, as there were a number of more principled moderates like Kean, Ridge, and Powell who, however imperfect, were not to my mind in sync with what is probably the worst presidential administration in history.

my question for Scotty would be:

Although Ari Fleischer was press secretary in 2001 (reportedly holding up a sign in the Florida classroom that read: "Don't say anything yet") wouldn't it be interesting to ask McClellan if he subsequently learned of any spin and propaganda surrounding 9/11.

The oft repeated phrase applies here: If they lied about Iraq, what makes anyone think we've been told the truth about 9/11?

If you're not outraged, you're not paying attention.

McClellan's father blamed LBJ for Kennedy's Assassination...

Read more about that here: http://www.rense.com/general40/thewnk.htm.

Or buy the book he wrote on the subject here: Blood, Money & Power - How L.B.J. Killed J.F.K.".
.
One wonders where Scott stands on the subject. Maybe he agrees with the premise of his father's book? He certainly believes the administration lied boldly in order to tie 9/11 to Iraq and create a pretext for war with it. It would be interesting to hear if he believes there should be a new 9/11 investigation, among other things. I hope someone might explore these subjects with him- gently. He might surprise us.

This is a good idea.

Write your questions down before you go to see him. Make sure they are the best possible questions referring to things that he would be knowledgeable about. Here's one suggestion:

Mr. McClellan, during your tenure as White House Press Secretary, you defended both the 9/11 Commission, and the Administration with regards to the 9/11 attacks. You also justified the Iraq War using the 9/11 attacks on SEVERAL occasions. "We're fighting them over there so we don't have to fight them here" was one of your favorite lines. In light of the fact that the families have called for a new investigation into the attacks on two separate occasions, and the recent news that the Executive Director of the 9/11 Commission tried to insert false information into the 9/11 Report that ONLY benefited the Bush Administration, completely legitimizing the families' concerns when they called for his resignation at the time of the 9/11 Commission, do you agree that we need a new, thorough investigation?

Or you could make it a little shorter.

Edit: Listen to what Mr. Davis thinks not wanting to testify under oath, with no notes implies...

Same rule applies.

Do these people deserve to know how and why their loved ones were murdered? Do we deserve to know how and why 9/11 happened?

tried

tried to go ask him questions with the group, but weren't allowed in without paying a 60 dollar fee. how ridiculous! we stood outside with banners at least

"I will not withdraw from this war even if Laura and Barney are the only ones supporting me." -George W. Bush

Can someone ask him this?

Scott, were the Continuity of Government orders issued on 9/11 ever rescinded?

Did you have to tailor your public statements under COG rules?

Are you even allowed to talk about COG?
