The first ever Northwest Truth Convergence took place on July 5th at the Peace Arch Border crossing. Despite some rain and gusting winds, it was well attended and supported by groups from Vancouver and the Fraser Valley, Victoria and Nanaimo, BC as well as Bellingham, Seattle and the Puget Sound area in Washington State.

All was peaceful and civil, everyone was cooperative and we had no problems with either the park officials nor immigration officials on either side of the border. In fact, the park officials appreciated how well we had conducted ourselves and said that we would be welcome back to do it again!

Featured speakers included "Splitting the Sky" (AKA John Bancore), Robin Hordon and Dr. Joan Russow with music by Everett Bone, Joe Haag and others.
