Demand Local Law Enforcement Uphold Their Oath to Defend the Constitution . . . and Prosecute Bush and Cheney for Murder

http://georgewashington2.blogspot.com/2008/07/hello-officer-id-like-to-report-murder.html

I spoke with one of the leading constitutional scholars in the United States (he teaches at one of top law schools, and has literally "written the book" on constitutional law).

I asked him if there was any way the American people can force Congress to perform their constitutional duties to impeach Bush and Cheney.

He said no.

I persisted, by arguing that the founding fathers could never have envisioned Congress being so complicit with a rogue White House that they refuse to impeach, and instead cover up their crimes. I said there's got to be a way to force them to follow their duties, or to impeach or remove the congress people who are obstructing the rule of law.

He responded no. His last words to me were: "That's the way the constitutional cookie crumbles".

I was very disappointed, to say the least.

Is All Lost?

Renowned prosecutor Vincent Bugliosi says that local district attorneys, state attorney generals and the United States attorney general each have the power and jurisdiction to prosecute Bush and Cheney for murder:

"You’ve got to realize, there’s no statute of limitations for the crime of murder. So this could very well happen. At this stage of my life, I cannot engage in fanciful reveries. This is a very real thing that we’re talking about here. I’ve established jurisdiction on a federal and state level for the prosecution of Bush for two crimes: conspiracy to commit murder and murder. On a federal level, we’re really only talking about the Attorney General in Washington, D.C., operating through his Department of Justice. But on a state level, I’ve established jurisdiction for the attorney general in each of the fifty states, plus the hundreds of district attorneys in counties within those states, to prosecute George Bush for the murder of any soldier or soldiers from their state or county who died fighting his war in Iraq . . ."

Bush and Cheney have also committed war crimes, for which they have no immunity.

They have also considered murdering U.S. citizens, and their intentional or - at the very least - willful and wanton negligence in failing to stop the planes from plowing into the Twin Towers and the Pentagon on 9/11 certainly constitutes homicide.

So What Does It All Mean?

Unless another constitutional expert explains some way we can force the congress critters to perform their constitutional duties and remove Bush and Cheney from power, or unless Kucinich's impeachment efforts or other efforts miraculously bear fruit, we'll have to try something else.

Specifically, we should focus our energy on getting factual evidence of acts of murder by Bush and Cheney into the hands of the local police, district attorneys, and state attorney generals, and then politely demanding that they follow their sworn oaths to "support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic".

The best approach would be for people who have friends inside the police departments, district attorneys offices, and attorney general offices to educate them. But a broader grassroots effort would also be helpful.

In order to put our strongest foot forward, I strongly recommend providing a copy of Bugliosi's book - The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder - to the police officer, district attorney, or attorney general. Bugliosi thoroughly documents the basis for their power and jurisdiction to arrest and prosecute Bush and Cheney, so it is the foundation for this entire strategy. You can have Amazon ship it directly to them.

Heck, you might even be able to perform a citizen's arrest of Bush or Cheney yourself.

I'm lovin' this article

What we need is more legal scholars in our midst.
It's not simply knowing the Downing Street Memos are damaging, and revealing. Or that the yellow cake documents, from Niger?
What shall stand out as a main truth to indict these two?
Lying to US?

"What we need is more legal

"What we need is more legal scholars in our midst."

Egad! What an absolutely horrifying thought that's about as appetizing as a hot steaming bowl of Dinty Moore. C'mon Beef Stew. How about we get a bunch more people to actually read the federal and their state constitutions and learning how to file criminal complaints WITHOUT THE ASSISTANCE OF A LAWYER instead?

Think about it. What have legal scholars given you? Laws. Thousands, upon thousands, upon thousands of them. So many of them that no one person could ever possibly be anything but ignorant of their content. On top of that, because of the deceitful way laws are written by lawyers, for too many of us it requires a lawyer to decipher what they mean.

If it requires that someone hold an advanced degree from some accredited institution of "higher" learning to be able to understand what the law actually says, it stands to reason that the law should only apply to them.

Dump the lawyers with the tea.

I have mailed hundreds of 9/11DVDs-info packs to DA offices

I have mailed hundreds of 9/11Truth DVDs and info packs to Judges, District Attorneys, Prosecutors, and Public Defender offices. This includes Federal, State & Local. I will continue to do so. I encourage others to do the same.

Think about it...there are many good, moral souls in public office. Once educated and if they have juevos, eventually someone will make a stand. Garrison did with JFK, and he did not have near the evidence and support which surrounds 9/11.

Example: June 21st, 2008 - Dallas - LOOSE CHANGE FINAL CUT premiered at a local theatre with a turnout of around 250 people. Over 300 formal invitations were mailed to VIPs, Judges, Prosecutors, Police, Sheriff, Government Elected Officials, etc. From that, we know that the Dallas County Sheriff, an executive elected enforcement official of a County of 2,366,511 (9th most populous in the US) came with a guest and received a big packet of DVDs and info. There is no telling what other VIPs came or were impacted by the LOOSE CHANGE promo in the mail.
My point is that mailing to these elected officials does not hurt a damn thing. It can only help further the cause for justice.

Expansion of outreach efforts to law enforcement

The effort in Dallas sounds great. Allow me to suggest a parallel effort. We need to reach out to Homeland Security types, both in government and as contractors. The approach there would be to convince them not to round us up in the event they are ordered to seize us.

There are contact offices for DHS in each state. If they won’t meet with you, request your Senator or Congressman to help arrange it. If none of them will help, move to public protest.

See my 17 action ideas for 911 truth at my website 911courage.org. It is described in #4.

Currently I am trying to convince my friends here in Maryland who were spied upon by the state police to be as concerned about roundup as about spying. They will be allowed to testify at hearings. If we can convince even a handful of states to demand the right to inspect the Halliburton built facilities both now, to make sure they know where they are, and immediately after the next terrorist attack, this could nix the bombing of Iran. I hold the cabal’s goal of martial law is just as dear to them as bombing Iran.

I need assistance on this effort. Call me at 410-499-5403 or email me at davidslesinger@yahoo.com

HOMELAND SECURITY I agree ! Actually, in our local area, many Homeland Security offices have been mailed DVD-info packs (or were sent invitations to the film). Here is some data ---> Many cities and counties have Homeland Security Offices. The people manning those offices often have prior experience with the fire or police department. By mailing DVD-info packets to police, sheriff, and fire stations we educate those involved with emergency services. I have no problem walking into the police department with a well-designed display box {marked FREE - Take One } containing an assortment of labeled DVDs, info cards, and flyers; and having this placed in the breakroom. I have given many to fire and police units (and bomb units) on the street whenever I run into them at a parking lot or restaurant. I know of a fireman of 20 years of service who continuously burns Loose Change for anyone he knows.

My mailouts and distributions of DVD-info packets have numbered over 1,000 and have gone out not only to the above mentioned (judges & DA & fire stations & Homeland Security, etc.), but to other officials as well (such as city council people, county representatives, etc).
Between Joe and I, we have burned more than 21,000 DVDs. We are not gonna mess around on educating our area. Joe, by himself, has burned over 14,000 of those. Plus, Joe has organized some fantastic Dallas events and outreach actions.

By the way, I have been inside the FEMA headquarters for this 5 state region, a deep underground atomic bomb shelter built back during the cold war. I have seen the phone-bank command room and toured the facility. FEMA itself is relatively short staffed and mostly pushes paper (like most Federal agencies). During emergencies, a combination of Federal, State, Local & private agencies and offices network and try to coordinate things. By educating public servants from bottom to top, we can whoop this 9/11 lie.

Sounds like he's saying the Constitution has crumbled

We had a Republic and We the People didn't keep it? That doesn't change the fact that We the People ARE the government, ultimately the buck stops with us- it's of, by and for us.

If we don't have a Constitution anymore, or an honest and accountable electoral system or representatives who will represent us, what are our options? Do we have the numbers now, with 51%+ supporting a new 9/11 investigation, and higher numbers supporting impeachment, if they lied us into Iraq and broke the law by spying, to non-violently shame and compel Congress to act?

George Washington's articles and links on non-violence:

This link has some really good points and ideas, the whole article is good:
But aren't governments able to crush militarily any nonviolent movement they want to?
http://trainingforchange.org/content/view/131/53/1/6/index.html

One thing that gets me is that even the Bush Administration pretends they're following the law; they claim their insane, unprecedented interpretation of executive privilege and authority is supported by the Constitution, and sometimes, notably in the case of habeus corpus and the ruling that just happened saying Rove and Miers have to appear before Congress. They're so secretive cuz they're deathly afraid people will find out what they're doing. The Bushes bought 100,000 acre ranch in Paraguay (no extradition treaty) back in 2006 before the election. Pelosi's scared of losing her seat to Cindy Sheehan. They need votes to be close to steal elections without challenge, and many media conduct polls, anyone can hire a pollster.

Gee, and I thought GW was a lawyer.

"I spoke with one of the leading constitutional scholars in the United States (he teaches at one of top law schools, and has literally "written the book" on constitutional law)."

You don't say. Did they ever really teach law in law schools or have they always just taught how to lie, cheat, and steal? You know what they say. Those who can, do. And those who can't, teach.

Did this so-called "leading constitutional scholar" ask not to be identified? Is he afraid his opinion regarding our Right to force public servants to obey their oath might start a revolution or something and bring book sales to a screeching halt? Why not provide some supporting citations from this ghostly (ghastly?) unnamed source? Everywhere we turn, it seems that there is another jackass juris doctor in a three-piece suit standing in the way and refusing to cooperate. Maybe the thing to do is briskly brush them aside.

"Unless another constitutional expert explains some way we can force the congress critters to perform their constitutional duties and remove Bush and Cheney from power, or unless Kucinich's impeachment efforts or other efforts miraculously bear fruit, we'll have to try something else."

Oh yeah, let's just get the opinion of another anonymous constitutional expert. That's the ticket! And since we can't get CONgress to obey their constitutional oath, we'll just get police, district attorneys, state attorney generals, and other criminals, er uh I mean public servants to obey theirs. Now that sounds like a real plan. PULEEZE! Spare me.

Lawyers? We don't need no steenkeen lawyers. Let's skip all the horse hockey of begging monkeys in three-piece suits masquerading as public servants to do their duty and move straight to on trying something else. How about starting at or near the bottom by filing criminal complaints against uncooperative public servants who break the law while performing their duties, briskly brushing them aside and/or replacing them with people who will obey their oath of office and the law. All the while, this will bring us closer to getting in front of a grand jury.

Randy Kelton of Texas (not a lawyer, thank gawd!) has recently discussed the power of our Right to petition for redress of grievences and how this could be used to non-violently force the issue with CONgress or at the state level. I believe that he is still doing research in this area. Nonetheless, it sounds very promising.

http://www.ruleoflawradio.com

If you haven't seen the work done by the We The People Foundation regarding the power of our Right to petition, please look into it as soon as possible. (BTW: this petition is not the same type as the one you probably signed on Earth Day calling for a ban on dihydrogen monoxide.) On June 30, 2008, historical service of legal Notice and Demand was served upon every member of Congress regarding several First Amendment Petitions for Redress of Grievances. After being formally served the Petitions for Redress on June 30, each U.S. Government official will be under an express, individual Constitutional duty to provide Redress to the Petitioners within (40) forty calendar days. Just as with Magna Carta of 1215, failure on the part of the Government to timely provide such Redress will of necessity, force the People to then initiate a series of high-profile protest events intended to (peacefully) force the Government into compliance. This work is very important becasue it is creating a record of lawful, polite, and no-violent attempts to bring public servants to account. Read more here:

http://www.givemeliberty.org/revolution/

However, winning this war will require attacks on more than one front

The First Amendment addresses five UNALIENABLE Rights: religion, speech, press, assembly, and petition. Use your noggins. When these fail, what's left?

The Second Amendment:
"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

It's obvious that when public servants refuse to cooperate with the non-violent means by which the People have the Right to call them to account, the only choice left is invoking the Citizens' War Powers that begin with your Right to keep and bear arms.

"There are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty: soapbox, ballot box, jury box, and ammo box. Please use in that order."
— Ed Howdershelt

Now, unless you want to go to war, I suggest that we all dig a little deeper and learn how to exercise the forgotten Right of petition and how this can be used to get criminal complaints in front of a grand jury. If you have any interest in empowering yourself and others by learning how to elevate the temperature of the ground public servants walk upon, read on.

An arrest warrant would require that an be indictment handed up by a grand jury.

In the common law legal system, an indictment is a formal accusation of having committed a criminal offense. In those jurisdictions which retain the concept of a felony, the serious criminal offense would be a felony; those jurisdictions which have abolished the concept of a felony often substitute instead the concept of an indictable offence, i.e. an offence which requires an indictment.

Traditionally an indictment was handed up by a grand jury, which returned a "true bill" if it found cause to make the charge, or "no bill" if it did not find cause. Most common law jurisdictions (except for much of the United States) have abolished grand juries.

The Fifth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States states in part: "No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger..."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indictment

Anyone see where the Fifth Amendment might be an obstacle to getting an indictment against Shrub and Darth for anything they have done post September 11th? It may well be that their actions prior to September 11th are where they are most vunerable to criminal complaints.

"In the common law, a grand jury is a type of jury which determines whether there is enough evidence for a trial. Grand juries carry out this duty by examining evidence presented to them by a prosecutor and issuing indictments, or by investigating alleged crimes and issuing presentments."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grand_jury

So, you can see that grand juries are absolutely necessary to the process. Wikipedia (and prosecutors, of course) would like you to believe that only prosecutors can present criminal complaints to a grand jury. That's really not true. If anyone is truly interested in how prosecutors criminally abuse their authority in manipulating the grand jury process and how they can be briskly brushed aside in order to get a criminal complaint before a grand jury, here's some suggested reading by Randy Kelton and Deborah Stevens:

http://www.ruleoflawradio.com

Kelton and Stevens, 9/11 Truthers themselves, have been very successful in refining the technique of filing criminal complaints against public servants in Texas and a few other states. Kelton likes to call his criminal complaints tarbabies because everyone who touches one seems to appropriately get stuck. Kelton is a hoot and is eager to share his knowledge and experiences so that others can begin utilizing this little known Right of the sovereigns. Kelton and Stevens have a radio show that airs live Monday,Thursday, and Friday on WTPRN - We The People Radio Network (not affiliated with the We The People Foundation):
