September 11, 2008 Day of Prayer: Asking for Guidance for the Next Step

“9/11 Truth is a very important issue with the power to bring lasting change to our country.”
~ William Sloane Coffin, clergyman & international peace activist

Greetings to the 9/11 Truth Community and All Concerned Citizens

We invite activists and citizens from all countries to join us on September 11, 2008 for quiet moments of meditation and reflection.

Join us in creative acts of inspiration and prayer! Add your prayers and send us your photos from your remembrance.

Some activists are arranging local 9/11 Truth Memorials, and these words of inspiration are for all who are moved to take a moment of thoughtful remembrance of that day seven years ago and the unfolding of events since then.

We honor and remember not just those who lost their lives or a family member, but also the many who have dedicated ourselves to the cause of exposing 9/11 truth and other governmental cover ups as a road to profound societal change.

We remember for a living reason. We are moved by our desire to live in a kinder more peaceful world and we are sustained by our vision of a better future.

Please take a moment and visit our website http://911dayofprayer.org/ and add your prayers and inspirations.

Prayer?

Praying??

Asking an invisible supernatural being to intercede on our behalf and further our cause?

Wow. The final refuge of the truly desperate.

"With God on our side"...in the end, churches are involved...

Once the 9/11 Truth Movement can see its way, and gain some courage and respectful conduct, to do some respectful CI on the sidewalks around the temples and churches before and after services on Saturdays and Sundays, we will really begin to reach the millions of people that we need to reach with the truth. And, we will have turned one of the last major corners in our journey.

Still a long way to go for sure, but not many more big corners left after the temples and churches are made to deal with their hypocrisies.

And there are no better "exposes''" than...

...9/11 Truth...
...Islamophopbia...
...rampant US militarism...
...corporate/political greed and profiteering...

...and having "God on our side..."

...to make all the points that need to be made.

Thanks Boston...

I totally agree!

I tried to introduce these ideas to church leaders...fail..:(

The congregation is a totally different idea so now when next Sunday the 11th I know what I'll be doing!

I will put this idea to Cosmos, as an international idea that on January the 11th we go to church...?

Prayer?

aligning with beneficent energies of Universe for the greater good of a sentient, co-creating (albeit flawed) species for purposes of Karmic correction?

Your interpretation of prayer

A self reliant conscious beings, why not reflect on our connection to spirit, the universe or what ever you want to call it, as long as it brings us closer to fulling our mission.

Whatever your interpretation of prayer is, is fine, for us it is at least introspection, and looking for direction from whatever higher self we can call on. As activists we need to replenish our hope and energy to carry on the work of 9/11 Truth.

There is nothing "desperate" about this. and nothing outside of ourselves is being called on. We rely on food, water, and sunlight don't we? All these things exist outside of ourselves - yet they are indispensable to our existence. In my view everything is connected, if we explore those connections, internally as well as externally we can only benefit.

As a person who doesn't

As a person who doesn't participate in religious groups and organizations, I'm using the interpretation of those who pray. As it says on 911DayofPrayer.org: "Pray for... Pray for... Pray for..." Introspection and meditation are fine things, but they are not the same as prayer. Ask your clergy.

Some truthers pray

Some truthers pray. It's a fact, just like WTC7 came down in 7 seconds is a fact. If we can endorse disrupting public forums, we certainly can endorse thoughtful reflection. I'm sure the victim families won't mind.
