SAVE THE BRAVE

2008 WE REMEMBER WALKS

To: All September 11 Family Members, Survivors, Responders & Volunteers

From: Rev. Bill Minson, TUDAY Ministries 310.403.0400/917.826.7255

All 9/11 family members have received an unprecedented tribute in the documentary SAVE THE BRAVE, produced by the Fealgood Foundation to urge Congress to immediately pass the James Zadroga 9/11 Health & Compensation Bill stalled in Congress as responders suffer and die.

I join the Fealgood Foundation in thanking Rosemary Cain, Bruce DeCell and Monica Iken for appearing in SAVE THE BRAVE on behalf of the 9/11 families, imploring Congress to take immediate action regarding what Congressman Jerrold Nadler calls, "a moral outrage". September will forever begin a season of healing for our nation, rocked by the September 11 attacks. I am thankful to GOD to have fulfilled a promise to stand with you for five years following the attacks as you healed.

Now I enter my 7th year of service and watch the unexplainable and indescribable courage, dignity and strength of the Responders who risked their lives and health everyday at Ground Zero I realize the word champion is not for everyone, only a special few. You have inspired me in a way which I cannot adequately thank you for and as long as you are sick, recovering or in need, I remain at your service.

To all 9/11 family members; as we enter our 7th year of solemnly remembering the attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001 and your losses, we remember the toll it has taken on all our lives, in so many ways. We approach this time with a spirit of resolve to go on, to live, as your loved ones most certainly want you to. Our prayers continue for you to find peace each day. At noon today pray America pray for all our First Responders

7th YEAR 'WE REMEMBER WALKS' HONOR 9/11 RESPONDERS

SICK & DYING RESPONDERS TRIBUTE TO FAMILIES

"WE TREATED YOUR LOVED ONES REMAINS WITH RESPECT"

August 22, 2008, Los Angeles, CA--9/11 family members, survivors, workers and volunteers are expected to attend the West Coast's 5th Annual WE REMEMBER WALK. Walkers will assemble at the Sherman Oaks Galleria {Ventura & Sepulveda} at 10am. Sunday September 7, 2008. The WALK begins at 11am along Sepulveda to Urban Search & Rescue Fire Station #88, 5101 N. Sepulveda, Sherman Oaks, CA where a short program of song, prayer and brief remarks will take place in front of the 9/11 Memorial located at the Fire House.

Sick and dying 9/11 responders have sent a powerful message to families that during the rescue and recovery period they gave their all in preserving remains for families. The FEALGOOD FOUNDATION, which supports responders having trouble with medicine, compensation and other issues produced SAVE THE BRAVE, a documentary to show Congress the true suffering these heroic workers are experiencing. Congress is urged to immediately pass the 9/11 Health & Compensation Bill. A vote is expected when Congress returns from recess Sept. 8.

Carrie Konjoyan, West Coast Coordinator for the WALK comments, "Once again we are extremely happy to welcome the WE REMEMBER WALK to Sherman Oaks and are very thankful to the Sherman Oaks Galleria for their support. We are honored to have all affected by the attacks of September 11th remembered here at our Memorial. We want all the families to know that we continue to pray for them and will never forget their losses." Carrie concludes, "SAVE THE BRAVE reminds us of the contributions our first responders make everyday for us to be safe, we pray that Congress does pass the 9/11 Health & Compensation Bill".

Family members of US Military and First Responders are asked to join the WALK and carry the photos of their loved ones and the American flag in their honor. Prayers will be offered for victims families, survivors, 9/11 workers, US & Coalition Military along with First Responders and their families.

Rev. Bill Minson, founder & producer of the WE REMEMBER WALKS comments, "It is fitting to have our memorial program at Fire Station #88 because they were one of the first Urban Search & Rescue teams to arrive at Ground Zero following the attacks. I'm deeply honored to join them to remember all lost that day and since". Following the program Rev. Bill leaves for Washington to urge passage of the Zadroga 9/11 Health & Compensation Bill and then to New York to comfort family members, for the 7th year, in the "Pit" at Ground Zero on September 11th.

The WE REMEMBER WALKS were created to bring family members from all the 9/11 attacks together to heal and "show the faces" of those lost. Rev. Bill says, "victims of 9/11 became grouped in as a number or faceless name but the most compelling way to remember these lives, these souls is to "see" who they were". FEALGOOD 'SAVE THE BRAVE' TO MOVE CONGRESS AS RESPONDER

TELLS OTHERS, "GET TESTED, THE CANCERS ARE AGGRESSIVE"

CONGRESS: PASS 9/11 HEALTH & COMPENSATION BILL BEFORE 9/11

August 22, 2008—New York, NY—The Fealgood Foundation has completed the documentary SAVE THE BRAVE and will have a World Premiere Thursday night August 28, 2008 at the Bellmore Theater, located at 222 Pettit Ave in Bellmore, Long Island, NY. At 7 pm. Two of the principals are too sick to attend the premiere.

The documentary is the brainchild of Fealgood founder, John Feal, who decided on this novel approach supporting the legislation stalled in Congress for years. John Feal comments, "the Members of Congress cannot understand what these men and women are experiencing. Not only are those who served at Ground Zero suffering, sick and dying but families are devastated, putting children's futures at risk. These heroes must have an America which takes care of, instead of forgets, its heroes. The James Zadroga 9/11 Health & Compensation Bill must be passed when Congress returns from recess so that this national disgrace can finally come to an end".

The documentary focuses on four responders and what's happened to them since their service as responders at Ground Zero following the attacks. FDNY Chief Jim Riches, Corrections officer Greg Quibell, EMS Charlie Giles and FDNY member John McNamara all share the intimate details of their Ground Zero experiences and consequences. In addition to sickness one couple in the film loses their home.

Members of Congress can expect to receive SAVE THE BRAVE, the DVD when they return from recess. Glen Klein, a Fealgood Foundation board member states, "we are going to put the honest truth about Ground Zeroes suffering heroes in their faces and hope that decency will prevail and they finally pass this legislation before another September 11th passes. All of us are wondering about cancers and other diseases that are showing up five, six, seven years later, what will our families face in the future", concludes former ESU member of the NYPD, Klein.

9/11 family members Rosemary Cain, Bruce DeCell and Monica Iken speak out urging Congress to pass the legislation immediately. The movie was directed and produced by 9/11 Chaplain Rev. Bill Minson with Robert Agriopoulos Videos.

Congressman Jerrold Nadler who authored the legislation with Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney appears in the documentary with colleagues Congressman Tim Bishop and Congresswoman Diane Watson of California who held a Congressional briefing in support of 9/11 responders two years ago.
