Army to Be Deployed INSIDE U.S. as Part of Northcom

An article in the Army Times reveals that the 3rd Infantry Division’s 1st Brigade Combat Team will be redeployed from Iraq to domestic operations within the United States.

The unit will soon be under the day-to-day control of US Army North, the Army service component of Northern Command. The Army Times reports this new mission marks the first time an active unit has been given a dedicated assignment to Northern Command. The paper says the Army unit may be called upon to help with "civil unrest" and "crowd control".

The soldiers are learning to use so-called "nonlethal weapons" designed to subdue unruly or dangerous individuals and crowds.

This violates posse comitatus and the Constitution. But, hey, we're in a "national emergency", so who cares, right?

Anyone know #'s, and composition of this "brigade"?

I have not seen any reporting on how large a brigade is, but from Wikipdeia, "a brigade is a military unit that is typically composed of two to five regiments or battalions," and typically numbers around 5000 troops. This sounds like a brigade right from the field in Iraq or Afghanistan, but I can't imagine they could get 100% participation for military ops in the US, so I am wondering if they are recruiting a bunch of the holy warriors to participate.

How the hell would 5000 troops ever hope to quell dissent, unless augmented by a huge fear cudgeon, like an epidemic, or the nuking of a city?!

Sow Tyranny

When the whip comes down.

Deploying soldiers to control civil unrest when the economy collapses? Or is it for when the Republicans steal the election? Or is it for when the next false flag event happens that forgoes the election? No matter what it is for, this is not a good sign. The shit is hitting the fan folks.

Problem with Google

Hi - Just thought I'd let you know that I'm having problems accessing your website. When I click on a link Google somehow steps in and blocks access. There is a google page here that explains the problem:

It appears to be something about automatic queries being generated to Google regarding the page-rank etc. Can't really understand it. This happens both with Firefox and Internet Explorer.

They are quite explicit about it. The question is: Assuming "service' is still "voluntary", how many 18-year-olds will sign up to fight a Hobbesian global resource war against the poor? My guess is there will be no lack of recruits once the poverty gets bad enough.

Chris Floyd captures the insanity

"Mutant soldiers waging "perpetual war" against desperate, deprived people in heavily-populated civilian areas -- welcome to the 21st century. Like the man said: It's murder, baby!"

This represents a standing army,

the very thing our forefathers declared independence from Britain for. Thanks for the post.

That wasn't meant to be "gay", but it kind of came out that way.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I'll ask Chicken Little about all this and see what he says.

Good to Know

Your house will stick out to the rest of the patriots in your neighborhood as a signpost of willful ignorance welcoming tyranny.

This is a direct result of 9/11

This would not be happening without the watershed "big lie" of 9/11.

Martial Law?

Do these people deserve to know how and why their loved ones were murdered? Do we deserve to know how and why 9/11 happened?
