Only Oliver Stone could have messed W up this bad

The man resides inside his own head and never, never wanders out into the real world.

This movie is "entertainment" only for those who are pathetically starved (to put it mildly) for entertainment. Furthermore, it could even remotely be taken as being based on real life, only by America's "GW ordered those planes to fly into the WTC!" Bush haters, and by those far-left types who are intellectually-limping amongst us normal/regular folk.

Sooooooo, is the press planning on vetting Obama in any way whatsoever before Election Day, or not? MSNBC... you go for it, girl! :o)

A great big thumbs down to Oliver. The man blew it again.

I am having a good time reading all the reviews. Thought you all might like to have a peek as well. After all we are getting some mention.

This is....

one movie you couldn't pay me to watch.

After the show in Booker Elementary

we have ALL seen all the ACTING we can stomach.

An open mind...

Although I'm sure you meant your comment metaphorically, its worth noting that, by NOT watching this movie and by not looking at viewpoints that oppose yours, you close your mind.

A closed mind is the best possible playground for those who would control you. Information IS power and by choosing to limit the information you receive, you increase the power of those whose information you will accept.

By being open to all information, no matter how unpleasant or disagreeable, you take control of your own opinions rather than accept them pre-packaged from those who want to control you.

You may not like the film or agree with it but, by spending the money, watching it and considering the arguments, you exercise your right to intellectual freedom and self determination.

bernusdellus....

although i agree with you to some degree. ( Belief is the death of intelligence) After eight years of this clown i had enough.
When they are willing to fully cover our questions with major media coverage then i will give credit where it's due.

I read the first 43 reviews on Yahoo...

Every single one of them (unless I missed one) hated the movie and defended George W. Bush.

43 out of 43 doesn't look right. This appears to be a coordinated effort to "stuff the review box". I haven't seen the movie, but that is irrelevant. Statistically, the numbers are anomalous and suspect. I know George W. Bush to be of marginal intelligence, shallow, elitist, dishonest and uncaring about the citizens or the constitution. If this is the way he is depicted, then the movie will get my approval.

I think you read the 43 Worst reviews

there are more.

Why hasn't Oliver Stone covered 911 Truth yet?

He is aware.

?

Perhaps he thought he could be subtle.

When that doesn't work... maybe he'll take it up a notch

I read this article a few weeks ago via The Guardian, but can only find this repost from Taipei Times online...

http://www.taipeitimes.com/News/feat/archives/2008/10/08/2003425298

"And don’t get him started on the label “conspiracy theorist,” which is an “ugly and ominous” term used, he says, to tarnish the reputations of anyone who thinks conspiracies ever occur, as clearly they do: his movie Nixon is all about one conspiracy that nobody now disputes. Contrastingly, Stone says, he examined the conspiracy claims surrounding 9/11 and found them unconvincing;"

Trolls

I had a look at the review page and definitely got the sense that the reviews were more than normally heavy on the negative side.

As 911 bloggers we've all seen the effects of trolls at work. Although the disease of fascism didn't start with Bush, he has certainly turned up the volume in the last 8 years. With the huge spin machine the administration now has in place its actually harder to believe that there ISN'T a big troll influence here.

One thing the Bush machine isn't good at is subtlety. The messages are always blatant and repetitive. In this case, notice the recurring message... 'waste of money'.

Go get em, Oliver!
