Bill Ayers? He's the Least of Our Worries...

by Michael Jackman

Now that Barack Obama is going to be our next President, he is busy at work with his transition team deciding on whom to place in his cabinet.

For the head of the CIA, it's being speculated he is seriously considering his close adviser Anthony Lake.

Enter text here.According to the New York Times, "His (Lakes) failed nomination in 1997 to become C.I.A. director became bogged down as Congressional critics of the Clinton administration chided Mr. Lake for what they called his anemic response to campaign fund-raising abuses that swirled around President Bill Clinton while Mr. Lake was national security adviser. In particular, critics complained that Mr. Lake’s staff made little effort to control the flow of foreign visitors to the White House and raised few objections about questionable people who received audiences with Mr. Clinton."

Lake held a meeting on Dec. 8, 1995 at the White House with radical Muslim activist and open supporter of Hamas, Abdulrahman Alamoudi. Alamoudi also met with former President Bill Clinton and Vice President Al Gore.

Alamoudi ran the American Muslim Council for several years, which was a lobbying group founded by a high ranking member of the less than reputable Muslim Brotherhood. Alamoudi also worked for the Defense Department until 1998 scouting candidates for Muslim chaplains for the military.

Senator John Kyl (R-AZ) would comment that "it is remarkable that people who have known connections to terrorism are the only people to approve these chaplains."

That is an interesting statement coming from Kyl, considering he met with an alleged financier of the Sept. 11 attacks on that morning on Capitol Hill.

As the attacks were unfolding, Kyl was having breakfast with the then-head of the ISI (Pakistan's Intelligence Service) General Mahmood Ahmed, who has been accused of ordering $100,000 to hijacker Mohamed Atta.

Ahmed was fired from the ISI in early October 2001 amidst these allegations.

The wire transfer has not been confirmed 100 percent, but according to the deputy assistant director of the FBI's Counterterrorism Division, John Pistole, the enquiry into Sept. 11 "has traced the origin of the funding of Sept. 11 back to financial accounts in Pakistan, where high-ranking and well-known al-Qaeda operatives played a major role in moving the money forward, eventually into the hands of the hijackers located in the US."

Ahmed was also close to Taliban leader Mullah Omar and secretly advised him after Sept. 11 to fight the American invasion.

It does seem shocking that a figure like Ahmed could visit the US and meet with people like George Tenet, Richard Armitage, Colin Powell, Bob Graham and Porter Goss (two who would later co-chair the 2002 congressional enquiry into Sept. 11 and not mention possible ISI involvement and collaboration with al-Qaeda) and still travel freely.

Looking more at Alamoudi, there are some troubling details that emerge concerning his record. Alamoudi was one of the founders of Ptech Inc., a computer software company suspected of having ties to terror financiers and terrorist organizations.

In 1996, Ptech was contracted to do work with DARPA, a Defense Department installation tasked with developing military technology.

Ptech also did work for Congress, the White House, Navy, Army, Air Force, Secret Service and the nuclear-weapons program of the Department of Energy, among other government agencies.

This is really alarming, especially when we see Ptech founder Alamoudi having an audience with President George W. Bush before and after Sept. 11. Osama bin Laden was funneling money through Alamoudi to Sheikh Omar Abdul-Rahman, also famously known as the Blind Sheikh, to pay for his living expenses inside the US in the early 1990s.

When Alamoudi met with Bush in July 2000, he offered to help his campaign if Bush would commit to repealing various antiterrorist laws. Bush would later return a $1,000 contribution to his campaign from Alamoudi but would again appear publicly with him on Sept. 17, 2001.

Karl Rove, who was also present for the meetings, didn't respond when asked about them recently. It should also be noted that Alamoudi met with Mohammed bin Nasser Belfas and Agus Budiman, who were part of a Hamburg terror cell and had connections to Mohamed Atta and other al-Qaeda members.

These two stayed in the US for two months and Belfas claimed they met with Alamoudi to "ask for favors." Belfas shared an apartment with hijacker-wannabe Ramzi bin al-Shibh and worked with future hijackers Atta and Marwan Alshehhi. Alamoudi was later sentenced to 23 years in prison in America for being involved with illegal operations in Libya.

Is the threat of terrorism real? Yes, but we should also take a hard look at our government officials and domestic organizations who have connections to many so-called terrorists and financiers.

I'd also recommend anyone interested to check out the documentary "The Power of Nightmares," which documents how the United States government has used terrorism and the fear of attack to scare the population into submission.

I wonder how President Obama will handle the so called "war on terror." Will he repeal the horrendous excuse for legislation that is the Patriot Act? Not just close Gitmo, but take a look at everything the Bush Administration has done in the name of terrorism. According to The Wall Street Journal, “President-elect Barack Obama is unlikely to radically overhaul controversial Bush administration intelligence policies, advisers say, an approach that is almost certain to create tension within the Democratic Party.” Obama was elected on the "change" mantra, how could he possibly change everything that came to be in the post-9/11 era, if he won't take a look at the details surrounding the day that created it.

I don't think...

There's any doubt that Saeed Sheikh sent $100,000 to Mohammad Atta. The question lies in whether or not Lt. General Mahmood Ahmed ordered Saeed Sheikh to wire transfer $100,000 to Mohammad Atta. Michael Meacher at one time wrote that Dennis Lormel from the FBI confirmed that he did order the transfer, but all Dennis Lormel confirmed was that "Mohamed Atta received a wire transfer of $100,000 from a bank account in Pakistan under the control of one of bin Laden's lieutenants." However, Dennis Lormel refused to respond to my request for a statement. Is there reason to think he did order the wire transfer? Yes. Both the Times of India, and Agence France Presse reported on the story. Other news outlets reported on it as well. There is also an indication that they worked together in a different "terrorist attack." The 9/11 Commission was posed the question about the wire transfer, and also told about Lt. General Mahmood Ahmed's dealings in the nuclear black market by Sibel Edmonds, and yet, they didn't think of him as a "person of interest."

Good job.

Do these people deserve to know how and why their loved ones were murdered? Do we deserve to know how and why 9/11 happened?

It looks

many of this I$lamic Terrori$t$ seem to have close ties with many Chri$tian Zioni$ts, I$raeli$ and other Elites of the Military Industrial Complex.

Seems to have a common agenda. I guess all of this explains "Bandar Bin Bush" and the Bin Laden family's close ties with the Bush-NeoCon elite.

The fact is the American People, The Constitution, The People of the World don't mean much to these folk.

We are mere statistics to them- pawns for their Economic-Military Policies.

We all have suspicions that the Pakistan ISI is nothing more than a CIA front - just like AL-CIAda.

Its time to change that.
