Tremendous warmth & goodwill emanates from this Parade.

This is the second MLK Parade which "North Texans for 9/11 Truth" participated in during the Martin Luther King Holiday weekend. The first parade was on the 17th, Saturday. This parade occurred on Monday, the 19th. This is dubbed "The People's Parade". It truly is "The People's Parade", and in 2008 it was touted as the Nation’s 2nd largest parade for Dr. King attracting a crowd of over 200,000.

HISTORY
In February, 1985, a small band of men—composed of William Blair, five ministers and a few others—slowly beat a drum as they marched from the corner of what was then Forest Avenue and Lamar Blvd into Fair Park. As they stepped, the group praised a man of the People through a bullhorn. “Those on the street laughed at us, with our tiny contingent,” remembers Dr. Blair. “But that did not faze us one bit, for this was Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. we were honoring.”

Thus was born what is now called the Elite News Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade, also known as The People’s Parade. Going into its 23rd year, the event is the 2nd largest MLK parade in the country. Last year over 200,000 people from across Texas (and beyond) came out to view the parade, and left inspired to make a difference in their own communities. http://www.dallasparks.org/FairParkNews/FPStory04.html

We reached a whole lot of people in both Parades!

I was elated with the success of our participation in the MLK events here in Dallas. We came to the parades from a position of respect for MLK and what he stood for. We were sharing the truth out of compassion for our fellow Dallasites. And because that is where our hearts were, we were warmly received. Many expressed gratitude for our attendance. I wish we could have edited the video before presenting it, but I think this raw footage gives you the feel for the event.

The bottom line is that we gave out 1500 DVDs and thousands of broadsheets to a highly receptive audience. I believe the spirit of Martin Luther King was and is with us as we spread the truth.

Bravo!

Should have indeed !!

you guys are leading by example. This is the sector of society we need to focus on. The WORKING CLASS has the potential social power to move things. The middle class and internet intelectuals have limited experience of real oppression and serious struggle. Outstanding job !!
