A coming episode of the acclaimed FX drama “Rescue Me” will tackle what may sound like a far-fetched plot line: that the attacks of Sept. 11 were an “inside job.” The actor who espouses the theories on camera, it turns out, also subscribes to them in real life.
Claims that Al Qaeda terrorists were not solely responsible for the attacks have a lively following on the Internet, including on YouTube, but the second episode of “Rescue Me’s” fifth season, starting in April, may represent the first fictional presentation of 9/11 conspiracy theories by a mainstream media company (FX is operated by the News Corporation).
“They’re not discussed a lot in the press,” Daniel Sunjata, the actor who plays Franco Rivera on “Rescue Me,” told reporters at a television press tour last month. He predicted that the episode would be “socio-politically provocative.”
In the episode, Mr. Sunjata’s character delivers a two-minute monologue for a French journalist describing a “neoconservative government effort” to control the world’s oil, drastically increase military spending and “change the definition of pre-emptive attack.” To put it into action, he continues, “what you need is a new Pearl Harbor. That’s what they said they needed.”
Mr. Sunjata surprised some of the TV reporters when he said that he “absolutely, 100 percent” supports the assertion that “9/11 was an inside job.”
The alternative theories “seem to me to make a lot more sense than the ones that are popularly espoused,” he said, calling it admirable that the conversation was allowed within “Rescue Me.”
Peter Tolan, an executive producer, said Mr. Sunjata is “well read” and has “done a lot of research.”
“Look, obviously not all of us buy in,” he told reporters. “But we went: ‘Wow, that’s interesting, and he’s passionate about it. Let’s use that.’ ”
Sept. 11 has been a touchstone for the series, which is set in a New York City firehouse. Denis Leary, who plays the lead character, said Mr. Sunjata’s character creates a rift among the fictional firefighters. Similar scenes have played out in actual firehouses in New York, he said, “where some of the younger members don’t even have to completely buy into the theory of 9/11 being an inside job, but want to discuss it.”

In 2008, Architect, Richard Gage Published a Video DVD containing evidence and “proof beyond a reasonable doubt” that three WTC skyscrapers were deliberately destroyed with explosives.
On November 7, Gage’s evidence was submitted to the FBI along with a letter explaining that the conclusions and implications of Gage’s presentation could be of immediate concern to the national security of the United States.
December 22, 2008, a letter of reply was received from the FBI’s head of Counterterrorism – Michael J. Heimbach who assessed Richard Gage’s presentation as: “…backed by thorough research and analysis.
We were stunned that Director Heimbach replied with an honest evaluation of the evidence – cutting through years disappointing efforts to convince Senators and Congress to act in the interests of National Security.
FBI Director Heimbach is a career public servant who displayed courage by placing his name next to evidence that will surely expose the government and media cover-up of 9/11 in a court of Law.
But the Rule of Law is in danger from the past 7 years of assaults on our Constitution and Civil Rights. We must put pressure on Congress to demand that they fund a new 9/11 investigation.
If Congress fails to apply the Rule of Law to prosecute the Biggest Crime in American History, the Courts may never again be there to protect our Civil Rights.

The Congress never reinvestigated...
... the Oklahoma City bombing either, although in that case there were, according to Charles Key, NO explosives experts who would have committed themselves to supporting the official story that a fertilizer bomb in front of the Murrah building caused the observed damage to the building.
It would seem that the Congress only reinvestigates if they have no other option.
Incidentally, it could be useful for the 9/11 Truth movement to pay more attention to the lessons learned from the OKC case.
Hypothesis vs. Fact
In 2008 www.DNotice.org proved ("beyond a reasonable doubt" isn't needed here since the proof was actually published before 2001!) that NORAD did indeed monitor aircraft flying over American and Canadian airspace, hence proving the official 9/11 narrative is a lie. It really is surprising that so much energy within the 9/11 Truth Movement goes to hypothesizing about the WTC (they were blown up of course, but most persons just aren't sure what high rises like the towers will behave like when they collapse. They might think buildings such as the towers might mimic explosive detonations when they collapse), while verifiable proof that 9/11 was an inside job gets zero mention. Why propagandize hypotheses to strangers on the street when actual facts exist?

The laws of physics don't lie
Different people react to different kinds of information. For some people the lack of fighter jets on 9/11 gets their attention, others respond to the evidence of freefall collapse and molten metal, some are intrigued by the put options.
This may be a stupid question but I have a question regarding NORAD and their radar system. I've heard that NORAD has a much more elaborate radar/monitoring system than even the FAA. I get this question sometimes so... if the transponder is turned off how can you track a plane that flies below radar?

Cincy911Truth, radar or infrared satellites will do the trick nicely of tracking aircraft flying under radar. Notice how the military never discusses the aerospace tracking satellites they have up there?
"Different people react to different kinds of information" is true, but everyone can read and immediately see that we've been lied to about NORAD. Why settle for getting the attention of, let's say, 50% of strangers we approach with information on the WTC when we can convince 99% of strangers that the government/media are lying to us big time about NORAD?

Cincy911Truth, "bureaucratic incompetence" is not germane to this issue of NORAD monitoring American and Canadian airspace on 9/11. You see, the official 9/11 narrative concerning NORAD is that NORAD didn't monitor American and Canadian airspace on 9/11. So while the “bureaucratic incompetence” canard can be used for the FBI, CIA, etc., it doesn't apply for NORAD on this particular issue of monitoring airspace.
My five articles on NORAD at www.DNotice.org simply showcase the articles/documents published before 9/11 that all affirm that NORAD DID monitor American and Canadian airspace on 9/11. For example, after 9/11 NORAD said, "Since the tragic events of 9/11, NORAD’s role which previously was outward-looking now includes monitoring airspace within North America [http://www.norad.mil/50/nutshell.html]." Before 9/11 NORAD said, "The Air Operations Center (AOC) (also known as the Air Defense Operations Center ADOC) maintains constant surveillance of North American airspace to prevent overflight by hostile aircraft. It tracks over 2.5 million aircraft annually [http://www.au.af.mil/au/awc/awcgate/usspc-fs/cmoctrivia.htm]."
Three other facts to use when confronting strangers on the street that can't be contradicted are Bin Laden's FBI Wanted Page missing any association between Bin Laden and 9/11; and Ted Olson's lie that he talked twice to his wife Barbara who supposedly was on Flight 77. The FBI said Barbara's two phone calls lasted zero seconds! Interestingly, the FBI also massively scaled back on the number of cell phone calls made by all four 9/11 aircraft. These four verifiable facts (including NORAD) contradict the official 9/11 narrative, and are powerful wakeup jolts for sleeping citizens.

without transponder
Through my research, I remember that on the screen of the tracking radar there is three lines of info for each plane on radar. when the transponder is turned off only 2 lines of info will show for that plane on radar. That fact alone means it would have been easier to track.
I believe I got this information from a source that was debunking that magazine that came out.

I finally got tired of waiting for the guy who does minor updates to our website to work with me in creating a new one for our group (we have one of the first and looks like it hasn't aged a day, groan) and have started to teach myself drupal and mediawiki. Once I get up to speed I will be happy to help folks build their own or give them the benefit of my experience and new found knowledge.
There appear to be some great and totally free solutions over at turnkeylinux.org which I've started with.
While drupal is a quite powerful and increasingly popular Content Management System (CMS), the community in charge of creating and improving it are committed to making the need for traditional webmasters a thing of the past, and these turnkey appliances make installation and configuration much easier than building your server stack from the ground up. (no, they don't pay me to promote their technology, but I may write a book about using them).
Feel free to contact me and I will keep you all informed as I make progress and begin to roll out various projects, in collaboration with others, of course.
I also highly recommend the Ubuntu flavor of linux over Windows, as it is free and much more secure than both Windows and Macs. The turnkeylinux appliances I mentioned above are based on Ubuntu. Check it out.

Of course they had to get that 'solely' in there--they couldn't allow any of their readership even to consider that there are Americans who believe al Qaeda had no role in actually carrying out the attacks.

What is Leary thinking? He is an intelligent guy but the comments he makes on this issue are so easily proved to be false that the comedian has become the joke. I mean, it is almost as if he is trying to make himself look stupid. If he is going to defend the original conspiracy theory, fine. But Denis, please, do it more intelligently and stop making yourself look like a fool. I enjoy your comedy and Rescue me - please stop making yourself look like an idiot.
Should not his outspoken co-star and friend on 'Rescue Me', Daniel Sunjata, point out the obvious floors in Leary's child-like commentary on the reason WTC7 collapsed? And his blatent misinformation on the damage to the building.
I do not knock Leary for having his opinion, but I have seen kids state what he has stated and far better. Leary appears like he doesn't care about sounding like a fool in his explaining. Blatant mistake sin his reasoning and descriptions.
