The Charges are Obstruction of Justice and Treason Concerning the Attacks of 9/11

The Charge of Obstruction of Justice:

"Law Encyclopedia: Obstruction of Justice
n.
The criminal offense, under common law and according to the statutes of many jurisdictions, of obstructing the administration and due process of law."

"This entry contains information applicable to United States law only."

"A criminal offense that involves interference, through words or actions, with the proper operations of a court or officers of the court."

"Obstruction of justice in the federal courts is governed by a series of criminal statutes (18 U.S.C.A. §§ 1501-1517), which aim to protect the integrity of federal judicial proceedings as well as agency and congressional proceedings. Section 1503 is the primary vehicle for punishing those who obstruct or who endeavor to obstruct federal judicial proceedings."

"To obtain a conviction under section 1503, the government must prove that there was a pending federal judicial proceeding, the defendant knew of the proceeding, and the defendant had corrupt intent to interfere with or attempted to interfere with the proceeding."

The Charge of Treason:

Law Encyclopedia: Treason

"The betrayal of one's own country by waging war against it or by consciously or purposely acting to aid its enemies."

The proof of Obstruction of Justice:

"A former landlord of two of the September 11 hijackers was an FBI informant at the time, knowledgeable sources confirm to CNN."
http://archives.cnn.com/2002/US/09/11/ar911.hijackers.landlord/

These hijackers are the same two people the CIA admits they knew were terrorists and were monitoring more than a year before 9/11. We are supposed to believe it's a coincidence that the same two were "accidentally" let into the country and were coincidentally living with another U.S. Intelligence agent, an FBI informant. That's an amazing coincidence. Could an FBI informant also be a CIA informant?

This proves it is possible....a sentence from the Senate and Congress joint Inquiry into the 9/11 attacks....

"In January 2001, CIA concluded, based on statements by a joint CIA/FBI human source, that Khallad appeared in one of the surveillance photos taken during the Malaysia meeting."
http://www.gpoaccess.gov/serialset/creports/pdf/fullreport_errata.pdf

And how did the hijackers end up with this U.S. Intelligence asset that Bush is protecting? They were brought there by Omar al-Bayoumi. What does the Senate and Congress Joint Inquiry have to say about Al-Bayoumi?

"One of the FBI’s best sources in San Diego informed the FBI that he thought that al-Bayoumi must be an intelligence officer for Saudi Arabia or another foreign power." page 226/858
http://www.gpoaccess.gov/serialset/creports/pdf/fullreport_errata.pdf

"Since September 11, the FBI has learned that al-Bayoumi has connections to terrorist elements. He has been tied to an imam abroad who has connections to al-Qa’ida. Further, the FBI’s Executive Assistant Director for Counterterrorism and Counterintelligence described in testimony before the Joint Inquiry FBI contacts “with the [ redacted] government about collection on a person named [redacted ], who has ties to al-Qa’ida, who has ties to al-Bayoumi.”
http://www.gpoaccess.gov/serialset/creports/pdf/fullreport_errata.pdf

Bayoumi's replacement when he departed the U.S. in July 2001 was Osama Bassnan. What did the Senate and Congressional Inquiry think of Bassnan?

"Bassnan was a close associate of al-Bayoumi, <>Bassnan also had close ties to a number of other persons connected to the hijackers, including <>" page 228/858
http://www.gpoaccess.gov/serialset/creports/pdf/fullreport_errata.pdf

"After September 11, the FBI developed information clearly indicating that Bassnan is an extremist and a Bin Ladin supporter. <>"
page 229/858
http://www.gpoaccess.gov/serialset/creports/pdf/fullreport_errata.pdf

And who was paying Al-Bayoumi and Bassnan?

"Sources close to the case told TIME that beginning in January 1999 monthly payments of $2,000 were made from Princess Haifa's checking account to Majida Dwaikat, wife of Osama Bassnan. A Saudi national, Bassnan was living in San Diego last year and has been linked to Omar al Bayoumi, a Saudi student who befriended two men who wound up helping crash Flight 77 into the Pentagon. The sources also say that the ambassador, Prince Bandar bin Sultan, gave $15,000 to Bassnan."
http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,1003790,00.html

That's from Time Magazine because President Bush made it illegal to say it in the Senate and Congressional Report, because he classified that section of it...28 pages.

Continuing on, when the Senate and Congressional investigators discovered that a landlord of some of the hijackers was evidently working with Saudi Intelligence agents and even worse he was an FBI Informant, it became obvious this person is to be questioned. According to the Joint Inquiry report....

"Several questions remain, however, with regard to the informant’s credibility."

"First, while there are several indications suggesting that future hijacker Hani Hanjour had contact with the informant in December 2000, the informant has repeatedly advised the FBI that the informant does not recognize photos of Hanjour. Second, the informant told the FBI that the hijackers did nothing to arouse the informant’s suspicion, but the informant also acknowledged that al-Hazmi had contacts with at least four individuals the informant knew were of interest to the FBI and about whom the informant had previously reported to the FBI. Third, the informant has made numerous inconsistent statements to the FBI during the course of interviews after September 11, 2001. Fourth, the informant’s responses during an FBI polygraph examination to very specific questions about the informant’s advance knowledge of the September 11 plot were judged by the FBI to be “inconclusive,” although the FBI asserts that this type of result is not unusual for such individuals in such circumstances."

"Finally, there is also information which conflicts with the information provided by the informant concerning the dates of contacts with the hijackers. The Joint Inquiry, for example, brought to the FBI’s attention information that is inconsistent with the date of initial contact as provided by the informant. In its November 18, 2002 written response to the Joint Inquiry, the FBI has acknowledged that there are “significant inconsistencies” in the informant’s statements about these contacts." page 51/858
http://www.gpoaccess.gov/serialset/creports/pdf/fullreport_errata.pdf

But Bush steps in and kills this investigation at this point. And this paragraph alone is the proof of Obstruction of Justice.....

"The Administration has to date objected to the Inquiry’s efforts to interview the informant in order to attempt to resolve those inconsistencies. The Administration also would not agree to allow the FBI to serve a Committee subpoena and deposition notice on the informant. Instead, written interrogatories from the Joint Inquiry were, at the suggestion of the FBI, provided to the informant. Through an attorney, the informant has declined to respond to those interrogatories and has indicated that, if subpoenaed, the informant would request a grant of immunity prior to testifying."
http://www.gpoaccess.gov/serialset/creports/pdf/fullreport_errata.pdf

I believe that satisfies this requirement...

"Obstruction of justice in the federal courts is governed by a series of criminal statutes (18 U.S.C.A. §§ 1501-1517), which aim to protect the integrity of federal judicial proceedings as well as agency and congressional proceedings. http://www.answers.com/topic/obstruction-of-justice

Or maybe it isn't as important as this.....

"Federal obstruction of justice statutes have been used to prosecute government officials who have sought to prevent the disclosure of damaging information. The Watergate scandal of the 1970s involving President Richard M. Nixon is a classic example of this type of obstruction. A number of Nixon's top aides were convicted of obstruction of justice, including former attorney general John N. Mitchell. A federal grand jury named Nixon himself as an unindicted coconspirator for the efforts to prevent disclosure of White House involvement in the 1972 burglary of Democratic National Committee headquarters at the Watergate building complex in Washington, D.C."
http://www.answers.com/topic/obstruction-of-justice

Or how about this.....

"President Clinton was famously accused of obstruction of justice during the 1999 impeachment trial. The charge stated he attempted to "delay, impede, cover up and conceal evidence" in the Paula Jones sexual harassment lawsuit."

The Proof of Treason:

This same Prince Bandar....

Was at the Whitehouse meeting with Bush 2 day before 9/11 and 2 days after. Who do you think authorized those Saudi Flights? And were they allowed to fly when American citizens were not? Here is Prince Bandar being questioned by Tim Russert on this....

"MR. RUSSERT: Let's go back to Sept. 13, 2001. ... American air space was locked down. ... But some people desperately wanted to fly out of the country. That same day, Prince Bandar bin Sultan, the Saudi Arabian ambassador to the United States, long-time friend of the Bush family, dropped by the White House. He and President Bush went out to the Truman Balcony for a private conversation. ...the Saudis themselves say that Prince Bandar was trying to orchestrate the evacuation of scores of Saudis from the United States despite the lockdown on air travel." There was a flight from Tampa to Lexington. A former Tampa cop, a former FBI agent were on board providing security. The passengers included three young Saudis. "The planes took off from Tampa with the first of eight aircraft that began flying around the country, stopping in at least 12 American cities, carrying 140 passengers out of the country over the next week," "24 of whom were members of the bin Laden family." Did you talk to President Bush about allowing those Saudi citizens to go home?
PRINCE BANDAR: No.

MR. RUSSERT: So who did you call for permission?
PRINCE BANDAR: We didn't call for--we asked them...
MR. RUSSERT: Who?
PRINCE BANDAR: ...is it possible? The FBI.
MR. RUSSERT: You called the FBI?
PRINCE BANDAR: Yes."
http://dir.salon.com/story/politics/war_room/2004/04/26/bandar/print.html

According to the Harvard International Review.....

"Thus it would appear that the Tampa flight did indeed fly before national airspace was open to general aviation. According to an FBI document, the Saudi youths in Tampa attempted to depart a day earlier, on September 12, but were advised that “if they took off, they would be shot down.” The security escorts accompanying the youths feared that fate even on September 13. Both escorts were amazed that the flight was allowed to depart, and, as the Tampa Tribune reported, one “was told that the clearance came from the White House.”
http://www.harvardir.org/articles/1728/2/

Saudis were cleared to fly while citizens couldn't. From a Congressional Committee letter to Attorney General John Ashcroft....

"Remarkably, to facilitate their departure, some Saudi citizens reportedly were allowed the use of a private jet during the time when the Federal Aviation Administration's post-September
11 ban on private aviation was still in effect. For example, a former FBI agent and a former member of the Tampa Police Department reportedly told Vanity Fair and the Tampa Tribune that they accompanied three Saudi men as bodyguards from Tampa, Florida, to Lexington, Kentucky,on a private jet on September 13. The FAA's ban on private aviation was not lifted until September 16, 2001."
http://oversight.house.gov/documents/20040608084212-67596.pdf

Also from this Letter....

"The Decision to Allow Evacuation. This fall, the former head of the National Security Council's Counterrorism Security Group Richard Clarke confirmed in Senate testimony that the evacuation of these individuals was "a conscious decision with complete review at the highest levels of the State Department and the FBI and the White House." In media accounts, however, both the FBI and the State Department have denied
involvement in facilitating flying the Saudi citizens out of the country. For example, Vanity Fair quoted FBI Spokesman John Iannerelli as follows: "I can say unequivocally that the FBI had no role in facilitating these flights one way or the other."
http://oversight.house.gov/documents/20040608084212-67596.pdf

What does Security personnel say who were on this flight the 13th of Sept?

"But the two armed bodyguards hired to chaperon their clients out of the state recall the 100-minute trip Sept. 13 quite vividly."

"It lifted off the tarmac at a time when every private plane in the nation was grounded due to safety concerns after the Sept. 11 attacks."

"Local and federal authorities will say little about the flight."

"For private investigators Dan Grossi and Manuel Perez, the bodyguards on the Lear, it was a trip they can't forget."

"Grossi said he was told the clearance came from the White House after the prince's family pulled a favor from former President Bush. Prince Sultan, the Saudi defense minister, was part of the coalition that fought the Persian Gulf War in 1991."

"The White House referred questions on the trip to the State Department, which denied involvement, and the National Security Council, which did not return messages."

"Grossi and Perez recalled the strange feeling of flying in the near-empty sky, knowing of the ban on private flights."

``My first reaction to the pilot was, `We're not going to get shot down are we?' '' Perez said."

"Grossi said he doesn't recall the name of the aircraft company providing the jet."

``Who knows who they really were,'' Grossi said. ``It was certainly somebody important to obtain clearance to fly.''

According to the FBI document when they flew out of the country on page 3/224........

"The Plane was chartered either by the Saudi Arabian Royalty family or Osama Bin Laden.........The tail number on the plane is # N521DB Charter company being Ryan International Airlines"
http://www.truthout.org/imgs.art_02/saudidocs_2.pdf

Yes, everything points to the White House. Want more proof?

Senator Frank Lautenberg provides more proof of the President being involved.........

"Lautenberg provided additional details, including the information that the plane, a 727 owned by DB Air and operated by Ryan International, began its flight in Los Angeles and made stops in Orlando, Dulles International Airport and Boston before continuing to Gander, Newfoundland; Paris; Geneva; and Jiddah, Saudi Arabia. The aircraft, tail number N521DB, has been chartered frequently by the White House for the press corps traveling with President Bush."
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A4014-2004Jul21.html

Think it doesn't matter?

"Here are a few of those who the Bush administration allowed to leave a few days after 9/11:"

"The son of the Saudi Defense Minister Prince Sultan, who is being sued for his role in the 9/11 attacks. He has given millions of dollars to al-Qaeda."

"Khalil bin Laden, who the government of Brazil has declared a terrorist."

"Abduallah bin Laden, who was the U.S. director of the World Assembly of Muslim Youth. The governments of India, Pakistan, Philippines, and Bosnia have all accused the Muslim charity of financing terrorism."

"Omar bin Laden, was investigated by the FBI in 1996 for espionage and murder. On September 19, 2001, after they let him leave the country, the FBI re-opened their case against him."

"Saleh Ibn Abdul Rahman Hussayen, who is a high-ranking Saudi government official and stayed in the same hotel as three of the Saudi 9/11 hijackers on September 10, 2001."

"So let us review...The Bush administration allows dozens of Saudi nationals and even bin Laden family members to fly around the country in chartered planes, while the ban on such flights was still in place, and then lies about it for two years. They also allow these same people, many with direct terrorist connections to leave the U.S. without even thoroughly questioning them."
http://www.americanchronicle.com/articles/view/59199

And the head of this Saudi Group leaving, according to this FBI document......

"The Saudi Arabian group was headed by H.R.H. Prince Ahmed Bin Salman Bin AbdulAziz."
http://www.truthout.org/imgs.art_02/saudidocs_2.pdf

He's dead now. He died a couple of months after Abu Zubaduh fingered him as his boss when he was captured. Pulitzer Prize winning author Posner explains in TIME....

"U.S. interrogators used drugs - an unnamed "quick-on, quick-off" painkiller and Sodium Pentothal, the old movie truth serum - in a chemical version of reward and punishment to make Zubaydah talk. When questioning stalled, according to Posner, CIA men flew Zubaydah to an Afghan complex fitted out as a fake Saudi jail chamber, where "two Arab-Americans, now with Special Forces," pretending to be Saudi inquisitors, used drugs and threats to scare him into more confessions."
http://www.time.com/time/nation/article/0,8599,480240,00.html

"Yet when Zubaydah was confronted by the false Saudis, writes Posner, "his reaction was not fear, but utter relief." Happy to see them, he reeled off telephone numbers for a senior member of the royal family who would, said Zubaydah, "tell you what to do."The man at the other end would be Prince Ahmed bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, a Westernized nephew of King Fahd and a publisher better known as a racehorse owner. His horse War Emblem won the Kentucky Derby in 2002. To the amazement of the U.S., the numbers proved valid. When the fake inquisitors accused Zubaydah of lying, he responded with a 10-minute monologue laying out the Saudi-Pakistani-Osama triangle."
http://www.time.com/time/nation/article/0,8599,480240,00.html

"In Posner's stark judgment, the Saudis "effectively had (bin Laden) on their payroll since the start of the decade." Abu Zubaydah told the interrogators that the Saudis regularly sent the funds through three royal-prince intermediaries he named, according to the book."
http://www.time.com/time/nation/article/0,8599,480240,00.html

"Those three Saudi princes all perished within days of one another. On July 22, 2002, Prince Ahmed was felled by a heart attack at age 43. One day later Prince Sultan bin Faisal bin Turki al-Saud, 41, was killed in what was called a high-speed car accident. The last member of the trio, Prince Fahd bin Turki bin Saud al-Kabir, officially "died of thirst" while traveling east of Riyadh one week later. And seven months after that, Mushaf Ali Mir, by then Pakistan's Air Marshal, perished in a plane crash in clear weather over the unruly North-West Frontier Province, along with his wife and closest confidants, Posner writes."
http://www.time.com/time/nation/article/0,8599,480240,00.html

"Without charging any skulduggery (Posner told TIME they "may in fact be coincidences"), the author notes that these deaths occurred after CIA officials passed along Zubaydah's accusations to Riyadh and Islamabad. Washington, reports Posner, was shocked when Zubaydah claimed that 9/11 changed nothing about the clandestine marriage of terrorism and Saudi and Pakistani interests, "because both Prince Ahmed and Mir knew that an attack was scheduled for American soil on that day." They couldn't stop it or warn the U.S. in advance, Zubaydah said, because they didn't know what or where the attack would be. And they couldn't turn on bin Laden afterward because he could expose their prior knowledge."
http://www.time.com/time/nation/article/0,8599,480240,00.html

Turns out this can be proven or debunked since Zubaduhs interrogations were videotaped, so guess what? Someone orders the CIA to destroy the tapes. And when did this happen? Shortly after the 9/11 Commission asked about this sepcific episode. Executive Director of the 9/11 Commission himself, Philip Zelikow Provides this memo....

"Late in its investigation, reacting to press allegations that Abu Zubaydah had referred to a Saudi prince in his interrogations, the Commission asked “what information does the CIA have” about whether such assertions were made in Zubaydah’s interrogations. (CIA Question for the Record No. 3, dated May
20, 2004). We knew the CIA believed this was untrue but we asked the question formally to get any relevant information for the record. We cannot find a record of a CIA response."

This coverup is right before your eyes.

So where are they now? An Update.

Prince Bandar has been bathing in money from defense contractors........

"The arms company BAE secretly paid Prince Bandar of Saudi Arabia more than £1bn in connection with Britain's biggest ever weapons contract, it is alleged today."

"A series of payments from the British firm was allegedly channelled through a US bank in Washington to an account controlled by one of the most colourful members of the Saudi ruling clan, who spent 20 years as their ambassador in the US."

"It is claimed that payments of £30m were paid to Prince Bandar every quarter for at least 10 years."
http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2007/jun/07/bae1

.....and he's bragging that Saudi Intelligence were aware of and tracking the Hijackers, and 9/11 could have been prevented but for his American Counterparts.....

"Speaking to the Arabic satellite network Al-Arabiya on Thursday, Bandar -- now Abdullah's national security adviser -- said Saudi intelligence was "actively following" most of the September 11, 2001, plotters "with precision."

"If U.S. security authorities had engaged their Saudi counterparts in a serious and credible manner, in my opinion, we would have avoided what happened," he said."

You can watch him say this here....

The head of the group of Saudis That President Bush let fly out of the country and then lied about it to the 9/11 commission.....(The President has been claiming he didn't know anything about these flights)......is Dead. Prince Ahmed bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz has been dead since he was fingered by guys in Guantanamo who were tortured.

Bush served two full terms and was more interested in Saddam Hussein than Osama Bin Laden who he never captured.

And the FBI Informant that refused to testify and who Bush would not let be subpoened by a Congressional Investigate body?

You will be providing him with lifes neccessities as long as he lives, since he was placed in a witness protection program. Let's hope he invested his $100,000 reward that we taxpayers provided him with wisely.

"In July 2003, the asset was given a $100,000 payment and closed as an asset." {footnote number 197}

Bandar is a trustworthy kinda guy...

great article

this would be incredible and unbelievable; but the info is from mainstream media and the govt's own documents.

If Bush said "I did 9/11", some people would still not believe him, and the Dems and Reps would probably refuse to investigate.

EDIT- actually, I wouldn't believe Bush if he said that; from what's come out so far, it seems likely he knew there would be an al qaeda attack, and it believed it could be used for political purposes, i.e. to suppress domestic opposition to neocon policies of draconian security measures and justify wars. He may have actually believed al qaeda was a sophisticated international terror organization and a threat to the US; but that the best way to destroy the threat is to let an attack thru, and shock the population into compliance with wars to control oil resources. Anyway, that's all speculation; it's clear there were plenty of warnings, the Bush Administration, principals at CIA, NSA, FBI, DOD did nothing to stop the attacks, obstructed those who were trying and may have facilitated the attacks. A full investigation is needed to uncover the whole truth and the responsibility of all involved parties.

And as the quotes and links in this article make clear, there is already enough information public in MSM and US govt reports to justify investigations of treason, criminal negligence/complicity in failure to prevent, obstruction of investigation and coverup.
