It's good that Real News...
Is at least willing to take a poke at this topic, and I hope that at least some of us write and encourage more reporting on 9/11 from the Real News;

As for Mr. Zinn, I think he and his opinions have been commented on enough here at 911blogger to give this a break from the front page.

Zinn has lost my respect. I guess it's at least good that he offered supportive back-cover blurbs to DRG's books.
U.S Foreign Policy...
...has an atrocious record and I agree with Zinn that it needs to be addressed. The point, Mr. Zinn, is that if 9/11 was an inside job then in this case it WASN'T U.S Foreign Policy that caused 9/11. How can he not understand this?

I think I know the reason for Zinn's comments
I don't want this to seem anti-semitic, because it isn't.....................I have worried about the same thing that I think Zinn is worrying about and you don't have to be Jewish to be concerned:
If the real story of 9/11 ever gets out into the public in a big way, I think we will see many in our society link Jews with 9/11 and create a hatred and real anti-semitic feelings. There are many links between Israel, and pro Israel extremists, and what happened on 9/11. The more information we compile about 9/11, the more the Israel connection becomes apparent.
Zinn is Jewish, from Brooklyn. He certainly must have felt the pain of what happened in the Holocaust. I think he may want to get on with his agenda of anti war and human rights without bringing a return to anti-semitism.
I think he knows, and I feel the same way, that there are many in our society who love to blame an ethnic group for ills in our society. It has been done in the past. It is being done today against hispanic immigrants. It has been done with blacks. Zinn has studied our history to know that Americans, as well as many others in the world, just lie in wake to pounce on one ethnic group when things aren't going so great. I don't disagree. But I think that this has been thought about deeply by Zinn, Chomsky, and others who uncharacteristically have avoided pushing for a new investigation into 9/11.
