Prime Activism Opportunity: Personal Democracy Forum in NYC next week!

[ I want to strongly encourage everyone who can make it to this to attend, I would go in a flash if I had the money to fly in from the west coast and attend]

PdF Conference 2009, June 29 -30

The Personal Democracy Forum is the world's largest and best known conference on the intersection of technology and politics. For the sixth year, more than 1,000 top opinion makers, political practitioners, technologists and journalists will come together to network, exchange ideas, and explore how technology and the Internet are changing politics, democracy, and society.

Speakers include everyone from Mayor Michael Bloomberg to Craig Newmark to Rachel Sklar (Fmr. HuffPo) to Frank RIch (NYTimes) to Ana Marie Cox (Air America) to Baratunde Thurston (The Onion). The speakers list is quite extensive, please check it out.

In January of 2007, a group from the Northern California 9/11 Truth Alliance teamed up with 9/11 activists from several other states and manned a booth at the National Conference for Media Reform in Memphis. Our booth was next to Gabriel Day's booth which was next to Peter Phillip's Project Censored booth. Our three booths were easily the busiest at the conference with Elizabeth Kucinich spending 45 minutes chatting with us. About a dozen of us were able to get 9/11 truth media packages to almost all the major speakers at the conference (I personally handed my package of two books and three dvd's with cover letter to Phil Donahue!) and most importantly create a conference-wide buzz about the 9/11 issue which could then reverberate throughout the media hinterlands.

There is a lower cost student registration fee and a $100 discount if you use the code: "OpEdNews". There may be other discounts, too.

Those who can make it but can't afford to go inside the conference can always work the entrance/exit with literature, dvd's and civil information activism.

Please check out the conference website and consider doing some high impact activism there if you possibly can.

We are approaching the tipping point, brothers and sisters, let's get busier!

The truth shall set us free. Love is the only way forward.

Why don't you setup a chipin widget (if 911blogger will let you)

You don't know whether or not the 911 Truth Community is able or willing to finance your attendance, unless you ask.
