In August, 1969, at a place called Eden Park in Cold Springs, NY, a friend asked me if I wanted to go with him to a concert in Bethel. This was the beginning of a big adventure, having just graduated from high school. When Richie Havens sang FREEDOM, I realized I would seek brothers and sisters and an alternative pathway for peace and harmony. One year later, after four dead in Ohio, and other students fatally shot that year at Jackson State, with the continuing undeclared (imperialistic) war in Southeast Asia, I could not stay in school nor join the military. I began to consider resisting the Draft, and journeyed across Canada trying to find my way, inwardly hearing verses from Joni Mitchell’s song, Woodstock: Well maybe it is just the time of year or maybe its the time of man; I don’t know who l am, but you know life is for learning. Forty years later I returned to Bethel Woods for The Heroes of Woodstock concert. Those attending were told that we can download the music for free with the code “815” for a few days. The fourth item includes more on the festival and a perspective over the last four decades.

The third item updates us on Leonard Peltier, which I find difficult to be hopeful that the US injustice department will honor the truth and set him free. But there is still some hope, and please don’t give up on this human right case, and that of Troy Anthony Davis. Democracy Now! reported on a Supreme Court decision for an Evidentiary Hearing that could result in a new trial. The rest of the item includes more on Obama being deceitful regarding the events of September 11 and Afghanistan, Iraq, and our economy. Christopher Story writes in World Reports on 17 August, 2009 issue of World Reports: latest issue of World Reports, "It’s not speculation. It’s at the detailed planning stage. Sabotage against the whole world is being officially contemplated at the highest US level, meaning the White House: and it has been under consideration there for months."

Item two is on September 11. Whereas Democracy Now reported President Obama defending his escalation of the war in Afghanistan, DN did not respond to the false reason for why he said we were there. Recorded last Monday at the Veterans of Foreign Wars National Convention in Phoenix. President Obama said, “As I said when I announced this strategy, there will be more difficult days ahead. The insurgency in Afghanistan didn’t just happen overnight, and we won’t defeat it overnight. This will not be quick or easy. But we must never forget, this is not a war of choice, this is a war of necessity. Those who attacked America on 9/11 are plotting to do so again. If left unchecked, the Taliban insurgency will mean an even larger safe haven from which al-Qaeda would plot to kill more Americans. So this is not only a war worth fighting. This is fundamental to the defense of our people.” Meanwhile more people are being harmed by these lies everyday. Now there is proof of a higher cancer rate among World Trade Center responders. Nevertheless, New York City Coalition for Accountability Now (NYC CAN) is making progress to prove they have the required amount of voter signatures. However, the legal games of a US injustice system will likely continue. We need a continued united and individual effort in as many ways as possible. Item one is more breaking news on the H1N1 (Swine) Flu and vaccine attack. This is beginning to take on a reality-and-denial comparable in scope to the betrayal of the US government-media cover-up of 9/11. The time is fast approaching, and people need to know there are alternatives to vaccinations with mercury and dangerous live H1N1 virus culture mixed in. Time is of the essence.

The last item touches upon the 10th anniversary since the incredulous NASA-Cassini Earth-flyby with all that plutonium on board that gave birth to Flyby News.
