80,000 New Yorkers have signed the petition. As with every other NYC ballot initiative, the City of New York is denying the will of its people to vote on the issues it considers most important.

NYC CAN responded by filing suit, and on September 9 the City conceded NYC CAN did in fact submit enough valid signatures to put the referendum before the voters. Now NYC CAN is battling to prove the petition is legally valid. On September 28, the referee will report on the petition's legality, and a final determination will be made in the days that follow.

On the eve of the referee's decision, let us take to the streets in the THOUSANDS on behalf of the families, first responders and survivors of September 11th and the 80,000 New Yorkers who signed the petition. As the climate ripens and public opinion continues to swing in favor of a new investigation, this is our opportunity to send a message like never before. If we stand together, we can make history.

September 27. 2pm. Battery Park.

Please help promote this event. Post the flier on your website. If you have a radio show please contact info@nyccan.org to have an NYC CAN representative on the show. If you can volunteer to hand out fliers starting Saturday, September 19, please email volunteer@nyccan.org and put VOLUNTEER in the subject line. Thinkers think and talkers talk. Patriots ACT.

Genuine Patriots Will Save America

This march is so important and needs as many as possible to show up. Advise wearing RED, WHITE AND BLUE, and not downtrodden black so as not to appear like a fringe element movement. We are the patriots.

Best wishes

to everyone involved.

Friends, if you are within traveling distance of NYC, please do your very best to be there with us on 9/27. This should be the biggest damn march New York has ever seen. Please help to make that happen.

Do these people deserve to know how and why their loved ones were murdered? Do we deserve to know how and why 9/11 happened?

Interesting change in Yankees fans...

For three years now I have bannered for 9/11 Truth for Peace [now adding for World Peace] outside the entrances-exits of Safeco Field where the Seattle Mariners play. I always have made it a point to be there when the Yankees are in town because of all the Yankees fans in Seattle...AND...because I like getting the feedback from people who feel they have a higher interest in the events of 9/11 than most...which is true for Yankee fans. This short history now allows me to report a clear change in attitudes towards 9/11 Truth from Yankees fans.

Three years ago there was quite a bit of angst and sometimes anger directed towards me with themes of me "disrespecting the families" and "you weren't there" etc. Not all the time of course...but probably 15-25 comments and "gestures" per game. It was always my toughest CI-ing gigs at Safeco when the Yanks were in town...understandibly.

This last Sunday I was out there again for the incoming crowd at the south gate and the exiting crowd at the north gate...and in observing many fans simply reading my banner as usual, no angst or anger at all, and for the few who came over, we talked and they took my 1/4 page handout. When I asked if they knew anyone in the city and if so, they might call them and look into NY CAN as New Yorkers are calling for a real investigation into 9/11. In each case I was listened to intently, thanked for being out there and received approving nods etc.

Just like more and more "GREAT GRAY NAPPERS" are awakening and coming over to take my handouts and express their appreciation that I am standing up for Truth and Peace...and this democracy, the change in New Yorkers', or at least these Yankee fans, is very obvious.

And this was after the Yanks got spanked by the Mariners which all in itself usually makes Yankee fans a bit grumpy.

My "in and out" session allowed about 6,000 Seattle baseball fans, 1000-2000 automobiles and about 2000 Yankee fans to see and deal with my banner up close.

Another really good day performing CI...Civil Informationing...as usual!

BTW...only one negative...a guy asked for two handouts and tore them up without reading them. I asked that he not litter the ground with them and noted that one of the basic freedoms that we have in this country is that each of us can remain as uninformed and as ignorant as we each choose. He gave the torn pieces back to me and walked away. Don't know who he was rooting for...

We make progress every day...here is to CI...Civil Informationing!

Go to where the citizens are gathered...

love, peace and progress...
