A call to action or an end to the truth movement?

I see many people calling for action at the KSM trial. But has anyone really thought about the ramifications of showing up at the KSM trial with "9/11 Was an Inside Job" signs? The Department of Homeland Security has been trying to label 9/11 truthers as terrorists for a couple years now. What will happen if a single 9/11 truth sign shows up at the trial and even hints that KSM is innocent?

It doesn't matter if KSM is really innocent or not. The government has labeled him a terrorist and is putting that terrorist on trial in a public court for the whole world to see. If any 9/11 truth signs show up at that trial, that will be the final nail in the coffin for 9/11 truth. We will be labeled as terrorist sympathizers, terrorist supporters, or homegrown terrorists. DHS would love nothing more than to see 9/11 truth signs flying around at that trial so that they can finally start rounding up the only real voice that threatens whatever agenda the criminals in our government are trying to attain.

There's even the possibility that "agents" could pose as 9/11 truthers to obtain the same goal of painting us as terrorists or terrorist supporters.

I would say not to go anywhere near that trial. There are plenty of ways to get 9/11 truth out, but not at the trial of someone the government has labeled a terrorist and not with the chance of the government finally being able to label 9/11 truthers as terrorists or terrorist supporters just because we were there.

There's nothing wrong...

With promoting more suspects for the crime of 9/11... bringing up the connections between the ISI and Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, Osama Bin Laden, Saeed Sheikh, etc... and the United States connection to terrorism over the last 30 years by use of a proxy between the CIA/ISI and "terrorists." It would also be a good place to promote the September Eleventh Advocate Letters, the Families report card on the 9/11 Commission Report, etc... I do agree with you that we should do everything within our power not to come across as "terrorist sympathizers." There are certain individuals who would like to go to the trials promoting Zionist this, Zionist that, 9/11 was an inside job, etc... I've made the point before... because of U.S. and Israeli policies in the Middle East, there is a MASSIVE resentment against Americans and the "Zionists." The people who use the word "Zionist" the most are those most affected that happen to have brown skin, and live in the Middle East (Ahmadinejad springs to mind). Those people painted as "terrorists" etc... So if we go around saying "Zionist this, Zionist that" how hard will it be to paint us as "terrorist sympathizers?" That makes sense to me. Apparently it doesn't to other people.

People are going to go regardless of whether or not we want them to. I think it is our job to make sure they are well mannered, respectful, and have flyers that promote good information. I am planning on making some flyers. Any help would be appreciated.

Do these people deserve to know how and why their loved ones were murdered? The facts speak for themselves.

Trial needs to be fair, other suspects needs to be investigated

the public does not have all the facts. KSM may plead guilty, but even if he doesn't and there's a trial, it will likely not depend on his confessions, coerced or not. Considering KSM's background in terrorism (Bojinka, etc.) and the evidence already public, he may well have played a role in 9/11. Other evidence already public proves he was not the only person, if he was involved. The govt needs to present its case to an impartial jury and the public, and the trial needs to be fair, or a guilty verdict is going to be appealed. I see nothing wrong with demanding that this not be a show trial, and using the opportunity of the trial to raise awareness of the evidence pointing to the involvement of other parties.

Fair trial comes first

As a friend of mine, a Bush advocate, said, this trial will mean that all the administration officials, CIA, FBI etc. will be subject to discovery, which is, of course, a great benefit. I agree with loose nuke. There is nothing wrong with seeking a fair trial, and taking such a stand is bulletproof. The government is on trial, in reality. What I would hope is that the developments in this trial would not be confused or mixed in with all the various theories of the 9-11 movement. This trial will hopefully provide crucial information needed to refine these theories, but it is a time to listen and question, not to assert, IMHO.

As far as Jon's statement about Zionism, he should give a listen to Ralph Schoenman and Mya Shone, whose weekly radio program "Taking Aim" often takes "Zionism" to task. These are not the "dark-skinned" people who Jon mentions. Ralph and Mya were among the first to call 9-11 what it was-- an inside job, and an archive of their programs can be found at http://www.takingaimradio.com/http://www.takingaimradio.com/. Their stand on Zionism should not be mistaken for my stand, but in general l support their analyses of many of the issues they tackle.
