I remember having read maybe 2 years ago that the remote controlled plane theory about 9/11 was impossible since the technology is not yet fully functional!!!
I'd bet money this 1940's technology, only way better, was working on 9/11. I believe the planes were in fact drones, the real planes diverted somehow, etc.
I think it's more likely that this radio control technology was aboard the actual passenger jets and they were remotely controlled into the towers and Pentagon. My guess is that something happened aboard United 93 and the radio control could have been overriden or discovered and the plane was shot down to cover it up.
