The 9/11 Cover up And Lies

Before 9/11 there was the '93 attacks on the WTC and the near catastrophe of project Bojinka. But what was kept secret was another plan in it's idea stage. A plan involving flying airplanes into buildings. Which is probably why everything on the following FBI interview form is blocked out regarding the interrogation of KSM nephews' partner Abdul Murad, who with KSM nephew Ramzi Yousef were the masterminds of project bojinka. They don't want to prove Bush and Rice liars when they claim, "no one could have imagined flying airplanes into buildings". Murad was arrested in 1995 by the Philippine authorities.

Murad stated that the goal of the attacks was to “make the American people and the American government suffer for their support of Israel.”

"Gen. Avelino "Sonny" Razon, one of the lead investigators in the Bojinka case, was so shocked at what he saw on Sept. 11 that he jumped on a plane in Cebu, where he was now police chief, and flew to Manila to convene a hasty press conference. "We told the Americans about the plans to turn planes into flying bombs as far back as 1995," he complained to reporters."

All this according to the Washington post.

"Aida Fariscal had gone to bed early on September 11, only to be awakened by a frantic colleague. "Quick," he instructed, "turn on your television."

"For the retired Philippine policewoman, that word and the nightmare scenario it evoked had receded into distant memory these past six years. Sometimes weeks went by without her even thinking about the terrorist plot she had foiled so long ago. But there it was, after all this time, unfolding live on her small-screen television. "I thought, at first," she tells me, "that I was having a bad dream, or that I was watching a movie."

"But as the burning towers came crashing down under their own weight, disbelief turned to anger. "I still don't understand," she says over a club sandwich, "how it could have been allowed to happen."

"But, Philippine and U.S intelligence officials said, the Bojinka operation called for a second, perhaps even more ambitious phase, as interrogators discovered when they pressed Murad about his pilot's license. All those years in flight school, he confessed, had been in preparation for a suicide mission. He was to buy, rent, or steal -- that part of the plan had not yet been worked out -- a small plane, preferably a Cessna, fill it with explosives and crash it into CIA headquarters."

"There were secondary targets the terrorist cell wanted hit: Congress, the White House, the Pentagon and possibly some skyscrapers. The only problem, Murad complained, was that they needed more trained pilots to carry out the plot."

"The FBI knew all about Yousef's plans," she says. "They'd seen the files, been inside 603. The CIA had access to everything, too. Look," she adds, fishing in a plastic shopping bag for one of her most prized possessions, a laminated certificate of merit bearing the seal of the CentralIntelligence Agency. "Awarded to Senior Inspector Aida D. Fariscal," it reads. "In recognition of your personal outstanding efforts and cooperation."

"This should have never, ever been allowed to happen," she repeats angrily. "All those poor people dead."

Someone else knew of this plot as well. The Federal Prosecutor of Abdul Murad. He'll get a job with the 9-11 Commission.

"In February 2002, the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence and the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence agreed to conduct a Joint Inquiry into the activities of the U.S. Intelligence Community in connection with the terrorist attacks perpetrated against our nation on September 11, 2001."

"A former landlord of two of the September 11 hijackers was an FBI informant at the time, knowledgeable sources confirm to CNN."

CNN was leaked this information by person or persons involved in this Joint Inquiry, who felt the American people deserved to know this information. The FBI was not happy with this and actually started an investigation on the investigators. For evidence of this see:

President Bush interferred with this investigation, as will be shown, and is a reason why a full accounting of 9/11 was demanded by family members most notably the Jersey girls. Bush was against that, even after he interferred in the joint inquiry, but finally relented and decided to put the king of coverups Henry Kissinger as head of it.....

"Phillip David Zelikow was appointed to the President's Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board (PFIAB) on October 8, 2001, by President George Walker Bush."

"Philip Zelikow is the executive director of the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States, better known as the "9/11 Commission."

"Sam Karmilowicz, a security official at the US embassy in Manila, Philippines during this time period, will later claim that just before Murad was deported to the US in early May, he picked up an envelope containing all that the Philippine government had learned from Murad. He then sent the envelope to a US Justice Department office in New York City. He believes Mike Garcia and Dietrich Snell, assistant US attorneys who will later prosecute Murad, almost certainly had access to this evidence"

"After 9/11, Snell will go on to become Senior Counsel and a team leader for the 9/11 Commission."

What the Joint Inquiry discovered in regards to the FBI Informant assisting and housing some 9/11 hijackers....

"FBI personnel believe it likely that the informant met Hanjour in December 2000 and are unable to explain why the informant failed to identify Hanjour."

"The informant’s credibility is called into question in other important ways:

"• The informant made a variety of inconsistent statements to the FBI during the course of multiple interviews."

"The informant has provided the FBI with many different dates as to the informant’s numerous contacts with al-Hazmi and al-Mihdhar and their initial contact. The FBI acknowledged that “San Diego agrees with [the] Joint Inquiry…that there are significant inconsistencies in the informant’s reports."

"• Some of the informant’s statements are not consistent with information developed through investigation concerning the dates of the contacts. The FBI concedes that the hijackers may have known the informant months earlier than the informant admitted."

First, while there are several indications suggesting that future hijacker Hani Hanjour had contact with the informant in December 2000, the informant has repeatedly advised the FBI that the informant does not recognize photos of Hanjour. Second, the informant told the FBI that the hijackers did nothing to arouse the informant’s suspicion, but the informant also acknowledged that al-Hazmi had contacts with at least four individuals the informant knew were of interest to the FBI and about whom the informant had previously reported to the FBI. Third, the informant has made numerous inconsistent statements to the FBI during the course of interviews after September 11, 2001. Fourth, the informant’s responses during an FBI polygraph examination to very specific questions about the informant’s advance knowledge of the September 11 plot

This next paragraph is absolute proof that not only did the President of the United States George W Bush obstruct justice by interferring in a congressional investigation, (which should have ended his presidency and put him in prison) it is also proof of where he does not want us to go in regards to investigating the attacks of 9/ guess what? That's where I'm going......

"The Administration has to date objected to the Inquiry’s efforts to interview the informant in order to attempt to resolve those inconsistencies. The Administration also would not agree to allow the FBI to serve a Committee subpoena and deposition notice on the informant. Instead, written interrogatories from the Joint Inquiry were, at the suggestion of the FBI, provided to the informant. Through an attorney, the informant has declined to respond to those interrogatories and has indicated that, if subpoenaed, the informant would request a grant of immunity prior to testifying."

Reading the report we learn that the FBI informant and the hijackers were brought together by a Saudi Agent named al-Bayoumi, although the informant will later deny it.....

"Since September 11, the FBI has learned that al-Bayoumi has connections to terrorist elements. He has been tied to an imam abroad who has connections to al-Qa’ida. Further, the FBI’s Executive Assistant Director for Counterterrorism and Counterintelligence described in testimony before the Joint Inquiry FBI contacts “with the [censured] government about collection on a person named [censured ], who has ties to al-Qa’ida, who has ties to al-Bayoumi.”

Bin Laden the Saudi Intelligence asset........

"According to a U. S. Government official, it was clear from about 1996 that the Saudi Government would not cooperate with the United States on matters relating to Usama Bin Ladin[censured [censured] [censured] reemphasized the lack of Saudi cooperation and stated that there was little prospect of future cooperation regarding Bin Ladin. [censured] told the Joint Inquiry that he believed the U.S. Government’s hope of eventually obtaining Saudi cooperation was unrealistic because Saudi assistance to the U.S. Government on this matter is contrary to Saudi national interests."

Some of what our traitor President refused the Joint Inquiry to publish, he's protecting Saudis!......

“About two months after al-Bayoumi began aiding Alhazmi and Almihdhar, NEWSWEEK has learned, al-Bayoumi's wife began receiving regular stipends, often monthly and usually around $2,000, totaling tens of thousands of dollars. The money came in the form of cashier's checks, purchased from Washington's Riggs Bank by Princess Haifa bint Faisal, the daughter of the late King Faisal and wife of Prince Bandar, the Saudi envoy who is a prominent Washington figure and personal friend of the Bush family. The checks were sent to a woman named Majeda Ibrahin Dweikat, who in turn signed over many of them to al-Bayoumi's wife."

"According to then-Sen. Bob Graham (D-FL), who served as a co-chair of the 9/11 Congressional inquiry that preceded the 9/11 Commission, during the period of Alhazmi and Almihdhar’s arrival in the US, Bayoumi had an “unusually large number of telephone calls with Saudi government officials in both Los Angeles and Washington.”

"Sources close to the case told TIME that beginning in January 1999 monthly payments of $2,000 were made from Princess Haifa's checking account to Majida Dwaikat, wife of Osama Bassnan. A Saudi national, Bassnan was living in San Diego last year and has been linked to Omar al Bayoumi, a Saudi student who befriended two men who wound up helping crash Flight 77 into the Pentagon. The sources also say that the ambassador, Prince Bandar bin Sultan, gave $15,000 to Bassnan.",9171,1003790,00.html

"In another twist to the developing story, al-Bayoumi reportedly worked for Dallah Avco, an aviation-services company with connections to the Saudi Ministry of Defense and Aviation, headed by Prince Sultan, the father of the Saudi ambassador, Prince Bandar."

The Joint Inquiry wasn't allowed to release to us "Free Americans" the proof of Bush's buddy, Prince Bandar's role in 9/11 but they did release this......

"Bassnan was a close associate of al-Bayoumi, [censured] [censured] Bassnan also had close ties to a number of other persons connected to the hijackers, including [censured]" page 228/858

"After September 11, the FBI developed information clearly indicating that Bassnan is an extremist and a Bin Ladin supporter. [censured] [censured]" page 229/858

And there is your proof that Bush's buddy Saudi Ambassador Bandar supports terrorists including those assisting the 9/11 hijackers.

The DOJ OIG report in regards to the FBI informant......

footnote 194 - "The OIG was not able to interview the asset. The Joint Intelligence Committee Inquiry had attempted to interview the asset without success. The Committee then submitted interrogatories that the asset declined to answer, asserting his Fifth Amendment privilege. The asset indicated through his attorney that if subpoenaed by the Committee, he would not testify without a grant of immunity."

footnote 198 - "The FBI opened an investigation after September 11 to determine whether the asset was involved in the attack. The asset has Consistently maintained after September 11 that he had no suspicions about Hazmi and Mihdhar. The results; of a polygraph examination on his potential role were inconclusive. Based on its investigation, however, the San Diego FBI concluded that the informational asset had not been complicit in plotting the attacks."

"Speaking to the Arabic satellite network Al-Arabiya on Thursday, Bandar -- now Abdullah's national security adviser -- said Saudi intelligence was "actively following" most of the September 11, 2001, plotters "with precision."

"If U.S. security authorities had engaged their Saudi counterparts in a serious and credible manner, in my opinion, we would have avoided what happened," he said.

Thanks for the confession Prince Bandar, Hey Bush, with friends like that........

Hey Obama, how about some transparency here....

"Abdul Hakim Murad, a conspirator in the 1995 Bojinka plot with Ramzi Yousef, Khalid Shaikh Mohammed (KSM), and others, was convicted in 1996 of his role in the Bojinka plot. He is about to be sentenced for that crime. He offers to cooperate with federal prosecutors in return for a reduction in his sentence, but prosecutors turn down his offer. Dietrich Snell, the prosecutor who convicted Murad, will say after 9/11 that he does not remember any such offer. But court papers and others familiar with the case later confirm that Murad does offer to cooperate at this time. Snell will claim he only remembers hearing that Murad had described an intention to hijack a plane and fly it into CIA headquarters. However, in 1995 Murad had confessed to Philippine investigators that this would have been only one part of a larger plot to crash a number of airplanes into prominent US buildings, including the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, a plot that KSM later will adjust and turn into the 9/11 plot"

If the 9/11 Commission is going to "tell the story" of 9-11 and give "a full accounting". They are going to have to talk with this informant. The Joint Inquiry wasn't allowed to (by order of Bush) and the DOJ OIG wasn't allowed to. But the Commission did, or rather a certain staff member and his assistant. So what changed?
Two things.
1. This was a cover up "investigation" from the get go with Bush Administration in control of it, and...
2. The informant was by this time paid off with $100,000 of our tax money.

The Informant's name is Abdussattar Shaikh and the interview was done in his lawyers office, with the FBI present.

FBI representative, Special Agent [censured]

The interview was conducted in the law offices of La Bella and McNamara, 401 West A Street, Suite 1150, San Diego, CA.

Dr. Xxxxxx allowed them to use his computer to access the internet. Al-Hazmi was a frequent user of the computer and the internet. Dr. Xxxxxx did notice that neither al-Hazmi nor al-Mihdhar ever made telephone calls from his (Xxxxxx's) telephone. When he asked both of them if they ever called home, they said that they did but that they used pay telephones. Al-Hazmi stated, "We go outside to use the telephone." Dr. Xxxxxx noted that they would have to drive from the neighborhood to use a pay telephone.

Dr. Xxxxxx noted that Omar al-Bayoumi also visited al-Hazmi at his house. Dr. Xxxxxx knew al-Bayoumi as a Saudi national who Dr. Xxxxxx met at the ICSD. Al-Bayoumi stated to Dr. Xxxxxx when he visited, that "I referred them (al-Hazmi and al-Mihdhar) to you." Dr. Xxxxxx restated that this was not the case and that he met the two in the hallway of the ICSD after the Friday prayer service. Al-Hazmi did not like al-Bayoumi and told Dr. Xxxxxx that al-Bayoumi was an "an agent for the Saudis." Al-Hazmi complained to Dr. Xxxxxx that al-Bayoumi video taped people associated with the ICSD constantly. Dr. Xxxxxx noted that was his experience when he attended events at the ICSD. Dr. Xxxxxx said that al-Bayoumi always had his videotape recorder and sought comment to the open mike on the videotape recorder. Dr. Xxxxxx stated that," I have heard that al-Bayoumi is an agent (of the Saudis)."

Dr. Xxxxxx was also very familiar with the imam of the Saranac Street Mosque, Anwar Aulaqi. Dr. Xxxxxx stated that Imam Aulaqi spoke excellent English, having lived in the United States for many years. Dr. Xxxxxx said that al-Hazmi respected Aulaqi, and told Dr. Xxxxxx that he (al-Hazmi) spoke with Aulaqi on a regular basis.

Dr. Xxxxxx knew that Aulaqi's parents were from Yemen, but Aulaqi was an American citizen. Aulaqi's father was a major government official, the Minister of Agriculture, and the father encouraged Aulaqi to remain in the United States. Dr. Xxxxxx stated that Aulaqi eventually left the el Rabat Mosque and took a new assignment at a mosque in Virginia.

Dr. Xxxxxx understood that Aulaqi left after a dispute with the president of the board of trustees of the el Rabat Mosque. The president of the board's last name is Hbshi. After Aulaqi left, Xxxxxx had no more contact with him.

Dr. Xxxxxx cautioned against helping al-Bayoumi because Xxxxxx believed that he (al-Bayoumi) was an intelligence agent.

Dr. Xxxxxx next had contact with al-Hazmi when he sent Xxxxxx an E-mail, Al-Hazmi signed the E-mail "Samir," but Xxxxxx knew that the E-mail came from al-Hazmi because of the electronic address. Dr. Xxxxxx sent a reply to al-Hazmi, stating in part, "say hello to Hani."

Dr. Xxxxxx was shown a series of phonographs. He identified two photographs of al-Hazmi and one photograph of al-Mihdhar. Dr, Xxxxxx also identified Yazeed al-Salmi, and Anwar Aulaqi.

Dr. Xxxxxx was asked if he told FBI Special Agent [censured] about al-Hazmi and al-Mihdhar. He stated that he told [censured] that he had two Saudis living in his house. Dr. Xxxxxx also told [censured] that al-Mihdhar had returned to Yemen.

Dr. Xxxxxx does not have a specific memory of any of the conversations, or when the conversations occurred with[censured].

So what does FBI Special Agent [censured] have to say? His name is Steven Butler.......

"Several members were "appalled" at what informed sources described as the "explosive" testimony of Special Agent Steven Butler, who recently retired from the FBI after his final posting in the bureau's San Diego field office."

"Government officials told U.S. News that Butler disclosed that he had been monitoring a flow of Saudi Arabian money that wound up in the hands of two of the 9/11 hijackers. The two men had rented a room from a man Butler had used as a confidential informant, the sources say. According to officials familiar with his account, Butler said that he had alerted his superiors about the money flows but the warning went nowhere."

"Butler is claiming ... that people in the FBI didn't follow up," says a congressional source. Adds another: "He saw a pattern, a trail, and he told his supervisors, but it ended there."

"In a conversation outside his home in the gated Rancho Penasquitos community in San Diego, Butler told U.S. News, "It's very sensitive stuff.'' Wearing a Buffalo Bills cap, Butler said, "I'd love to talk to you guys," but added that he couldn't without permission from the Justice Department."

"Butler's testimony comes after disclosures that FBI executives failed to take action in response to memorandums by agency lawyers and agents in Minneapolis and Phoenix about suspicious activities involving young Muslim men enrolled in flight schools. One of the men, Zacarias Moussaoui, the so-called 20th hijacker, is awaiting trial on charges stemming from the attacks."

"In his closed-door appearance on Capitol Hill, Butler described his dealings with a leader in San Diego's Muslim community, a 68-year-old man named Abdussattar Shaikh. In 2000, Shaikh rented a room in his house in a San Diego suburb, Lemon Grove, to Khalid Almihdhar and Nawaf Alhazmi. Almihdhar and Alhazmi helped hijack American Airlines Flight 77, which crashed into the Pentagon. Shaikh did not respond to a phone message."

"After Butler testified, Eleanor Hill, the staff director for the 9/11 committee, detailed his statements in a memo to the Justice Department. Justice officials, saying Butler's testimony is classified, declined comment. FBI officials also declined comment, saying they are pursuing "all investigative leads ... in a thorough and confidential manner."

"FBI agents and CIA officers reconstructing the activities of the 19 hijackers were intrigued by two men, Osama Basnan and Omar al-Bayoumi, Saudi nationals who lived in the United States, despite having been charged with visa fraud. Investigators say Bayoumi helped Almihdhar and Alhazmi pay their rent and even threw them a party. According to Newsweek, Bayoumi also helped the two men open a bank account and called flight schools in Florida to arrange flying lessons for them."

"Congress, the FBI, and the CIA are now trying to learn whether any of the money Bayoumi spent on behalf of Almihdhar and Alhazmi came from the Saudi Embassy in Washington. Newsweek reported that Basnan first requested financial help from the Saudi Embassy in 1998, saying he needed money to cover his wife's medical problems. Princess Haifa bint Faisal, the wife of the Saudi ambassador, Prince Bandar bin Sultan, wrote several cashier's checks to Basnan's wife. She endorsed some of them to Bayoumi's wife. Proceeds from the cashed checks, investigators believe, were used by Almihdhar and Alhazmi."

"Basnan and Bayoumi have left the United States and could not be reached for comment. In an interview with a Saudi-owned, London-based newspaper, Basnan denied that his wife had passed money from Princess Haifa to Bayoumi's wife."

"The escalating investigations come at a time when the Bush administration is receiving increasing criticism for "easing up" on the Saudis–because of concerns over both oil prices and the importance of Saudi bases if Bush authorizes an attack against Iraq. Administration officials bristle at such suggestions. "It's on the front burner," a senior official says, "at ... the very highest levels."

The DCI told the Joint Inquiry:
"We had at that point the level of detail needed to watchlist al-Mihdhar- that is, to nominate him to the State Department for refusal of entry into the U.S. or deny him another visa. Our officers remained focused on the surveillance operation and did not do so." page 11/27

"At that point is" January 2000. Well......"On January 15, 2000, Mihdhar and Hazmi arrived at Los Angeles International Airport from Bangkok"

And with 300 million people in the U.S. they end up meeting a Saudi Intelligence agent who introduces them to an FBI Counterterrorism Informant who they live with while he's investigating Bin Laden associates, who they also meet with.

Just a coincidence, they say because they suddenly "lost them". Remember they are under a CIA surveillance operation according to the Director of Central Intelligence himself, he admitted that's why they didn't "watchlist them".....

And that's also when the 9/11 hijackers were meeting with al-Awlaki, so while they were investigating him the informant they were using during this investigation was housing the hijackers who were meeting with the person under investigation.

And these hijackers were meeting with him while he was under investigation in 2000, and obviously this FBI asset was assisting them in their investigation of this Iman as he was housing the hijackers, the hijackers that
would drive out of the neighborhood to use the phone, nothing suspicious about that, or that they are meeting with a possible agent for Bin laden who is being investigated by the FBI.

"9/11 probe clears Saudi Arabia

The United States enquiry into the 9/11 attacks says it has found no evidence the Saudi government funded al-Qaeda.

It also clears the wife of the Saudi envoy to the US, who had been alleged to have given the 9/11 hijackers money.

how difficult would it be for the IC, with their billions in secret funding, to establish a proxy force like al qaida ... not very difficult, I should imagine ... in fact, isn't that exactly what they did in Afghanistan during the 80's, when CIA, (Pak) ISI and (Saudi) GID secretly armed, trained and funded the Afghan Mujahedin

Eleanor Hill's Memo...

A little while ago, I was looking into FBI Agent Steven Butler's testimony before the Joint Congressional Inquiry into 9/11. According to this report [US News And World Report, The Road To Riyadh, 12/1/2002], it says "following Butler’s testimony, Staff Director Eleanor Hill “detail[s] his statements in a memo to the Justice Department.” The Justice Department will decline comment on the matter, saying Butler’s testimony is classified."

So, I FOIA'd for the memo sent from Eleanor Hill. You can read the response I got here:

"Based on the information you provided, we conducted a search of the Central Records System. We were unable to identify main file records responsive to the FOIA."

I don't think I could have been anymore descriptive. I asked for "a memo written by Staff Director Eleanor Hill to the Justice Department regarding FBI Special Agent Steven Butler's statements to the Joint Inquiry into Intelligence Community Activities before and after the Terrorist Attacks of September 11, 2001."
