Richard Gage speaking at Carleton University, Ottawa, April 30th, 2010
Truth Action Ottawa is pleased to announce that we are sponsoring a speaking engagement by Mr. Richard Gage, AIA, at Carleton University on April 30, 2010.
Mr. Gage’s presentation is entitled 9/11: Blueprint for Truth – The Architecture of Destruction and will detail the physical characteristics of the collapses of the three World Trade Center buildings which were demolished in New York City on September 11th, 2001. In particular, he will demonstrate how the National Institute of Standards and Technology, NIST, has produced a final report on the building collapses which does not adequately explain the observed events of the day.
Presenting Mr. Gage will be Mr. David Long, an Ottawa resident who was at the World Trade Center on 9/11/2001. Mr. Long was working for Merrill-Lynch at the time, and had to run for his life when the second plane hit, as he was close enough to have been in danger from falling debris. Since then, Mr. Long has been investigating the events of 9/11 closely, and has recently founded an organization called Business for 9/11 Truth which aims to unite members of the international business community to support the 9/11 truth movement.
We would especially like to encourage Ottawa-area architects, engineers, and students of those disciplines to attend, as the technical material being presented is relevant to your fields. If you know someone who is working or studying in these fields, please consider inviting them.
The event will be taking place in Kailash Mital Theatre, in Southam Hall and will cost $10.00 for admittance.
Here are the specific details of the event:
Date: Friday, April 30th, 2010
Time: 7:30pm
Admittance: $10.00 suggested donation, but no one will be turned away for a lack of money.
Place: Kailash Mital Theatre, Carleton University (click here for a map, or see below)

I'm Jealous
I want to be there!! So close, yet so far.
It'll be taped
We'll be recording it, so you'll see it eventually. We were hoping to webcast it live, but we're told that the theatre's internet connectivity is dodgy, so we're going to concentrate on a high quality HD recording instead.
The poster has a great look.
The poster has a great look. I wish the text box contained something about "Over 1200 Architects and Engineers are Calling for a New Investigation" The lateral ejection of debris might not hook a large number of peopler.
Great idea!
Thanks! Constructive criticism is always appreciated. I've altered it a bit and re-uploaded it. How does that look? (You may need to reload it from its source with a Ctrl-F5)
Update: 2nd NY1 Spot Aired today
Just want to report that today's Asner AE911Truth TV ad aired at 1:14. So both spots went this week without a hitch. I live in NC and wasn't able to watch it, but Ted Walter notified me that he saw it and it looked great.
*NY1 News is Time Warner's 24-hr newschannel in New York City. It covers the city's five buroughs with more than 25 full-time reporters. NY1 News now has 1.5 million cable viewers.

Seconding Bravos on the Poster
Two suggestions to deal with the limited room for text:
1. Don't repeeat what is already visible.
2. Make every word count - each word has to earn its way in. Your picture will draw them in, use the text to "capture" them.
Here's a idea, borrowing some of Richard's wording, etc.:
"What pulverized xxx tons of steel-reinforced concrete, launching yyy-ton girders into neighborhood buildings and into the ground 600 feet away? Why did the government suppress and then ignore 100 first-responder reports of explosions? Why won't the government follow fire-investigation guidelines and test the WTC dust for explosives, even after nanothermite was found and published by an international team of scientists?"
Something like that???
Good to see this happening
It is good to see this happening. I have a few family members that I will encourage to attend.
I recall many idle hours spent in the tunnels beneath the Southam hall, drinking coffee and people watching, a few decades ago.
Good luck Ottawa
& I hope you pull in a large number of on the fencers or disbelievers.. Gage's presentation has the power to bring bright, professionals into the movement.
