Ahmadinejad urges UN Head Ban Ki-Moon to probe 9/11 attacks

"AFP - Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has written to UN chief Ban Ki-moon, asking him to launch an investigation into the September 11, 2001 attacks on the United States, news reports said on Monday.

"The minimum expectation from your excellency is to set up an independent and trusted fact-finding group to comprehensively investigate the real factors behind September 11," Ahmadinejad said in the text of the letter carried by official news agencies.

They did not say when the letter was sent.

The hardliner, who in March dismissed 9/11 as a "big lie," said in the letter that the attacks "were the main pretext for attacks" by NATO on Afghanistan and Iraq."

What a upside down

World we all live in.

Upside down world alright.

Oh boy you said a mouthful there. It really is a time of universal deceit Orwell predicted.
As to Ahmedinejad, thanks to some of the radical statements he's made in the past and the reputation he has gained through the "Western" media, he is easy to dismiss.
On the other hand, he has nothing to lose so he may as well poke the superpower in it's soft underbelly.

Iran is in the crosshairs

for the very same reasons that Afghanistan and Iraq were, and for the very same reasons that a 'catastrophic and catalyzing event' was desired by certain influential people. These basic connections are apparently not lost on Ahmedinejad, and it only makes sense for him to join those demanding the real truth about 9/11.

Not so good ...

Not so good for 9-11 truth-seeking to be connected with this fellow, whom we are MSM-trained to fear and hate. Let's be vigorous with level-headed discussions if this news item comes out anywhere that allows comments.

Take a look, for example, at this (from the article):

"Several times Ahmadinejad has questioned the accepted version of the Al-Qaeda strikes on New York and Washington which killed nearly 3,000 people.

"In January, he branded September 11 "a suspicious affair" similar to the Holocaust, which he dismissed as a "myth" in 2005, drawing widespread condemnation.

"Ahmadinejad's latest remarks come with Iran locked in a standoff with world powers led by the United States over Tehran's controversial nuclear programme, and risking tougher sanctions over its defiance."

Note the terminology: "the Al-Qaida strikes." Not 'the supposed' Al-Qaida strikes. Not 'presumed.' Not 'the strikes that the US Admin blamed on Al-Qaida, and of course proved via torture-induced confessions.'

Note the deft connection of 9-11 truth-seeking with Holocaust revisionism. Be prepared to deflate it. Often. And to get the discussion back on topic.

Note the reminder that this fellow represents a Big Enemy, the current Saddam Husein type, a media-created caricature of evil. Why? You can't bomb someone unless you believe they are evil.

The press has demonized Mr. A

Ahmadinejad has been demonized by the same CIA-run press that has tried to bury the 9-11 movement.

By the way, a Reuters report says the following:

http://www.nationalpost.com/story.html?id=2875251

"Iranian media reports quoted Mr. Ahmadinejad's letter as also calling for an investigation into the Sep. 11 attacks on the United States, saying they had been used as a pretext for the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

"But the text of the letter distributed to media in New York by Iran's UN mission contained no such call. UN spokesman Farhan Haq said Ban was studying the letter."

We must remember that Reuters and the other news agencies are controlled by the CIA, so that is what is upside down, not that Ahmadinejad has called for an investigation of 9-11.

"accepted version of the Al-Qaeda strikes on New York and Wash"

Notice journalistic degradation of "France 24" to say such absurdities as: " the accepted version of the Al-Qaeda strikes on New York and Washington" ?
Accepted by whom ?
By the FBI?
By any legal investigation?
Hand us the proof !
It is for the moment the only "accepted" way to explain the massacres of September 11th by certain main-stream medias, but there is certainly NO SCIENTIFIC or LEGAL CONCENSUS or World Public Perception at all that "Al Qaeda" was behind this, or that the three skyscrapers could pulverise and fall down at free fall speed into the path of maximum resistance due to the kerosene and impact of two airliners. ( www.AE911Truth.org ).
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's plea to the UN that it is high time the Bush administration's official and illogical story of how these towers came down must be investigated is a breath of fresh air of sanity. He also has good reason to point out that the US, through it's admitted Proactive, Preemptive Operations Group has been using government money to pay Jundallah rebels to conduct terrorists acts in Iran, while posturing itself as the big savior against terrorism.
It is in our interest to enthusiastically support Ahmadinejad's plea for World sanity and justice on these very important issues.

Is there any way to have a copy of his letter to Ban Ki-moon ?

Is there any way to have a copy of his letter to Ban Ki-moon ?

...

Merci for the link. Very helpful. Important to have the source.

Merci for the link. Very helpful and important to read.

Unfortunately I think Ban Ki-moon will put his letter in the dustbin and do nothing to investigate the 911 crimes.

It is obvious that the United Nations should investigate the 911 without having to be asked but the United Nations has not yet been transformed into a democratic organisation. For the moment the United Nations does not work for the citizens but for the most powerful financial lobbies. Their livelihood depends on the United States Contribution and they have to live and pay their morgages.

Perhaps in continuing to inform our citizens of the pure evil of 911 and such letters like Ahamadinejad's will help us to reform the incomes of these needed institutions so that can be independant and really do their job.

Yours

John

"Foreign Policy" has published the Reuters sanitized version.

It comes as no surprise that "Foreign Policy" has published the Reuters sanitized version. As was pointed out above:

[ "Iranian media reports quoted Mr.

The Reuters sanitized version for Western media consumption, makes no mention of 9/11, since it is out of bounds of the Western Main-stream Media to throw doubt on the original version of the causes of the 9/11 events, that were published in the New York Times, 1 and 2 days after September 11th 2001. This version has never (been allowed to be) revised by Western main-stream media.

In this vanilla version of "Foreign Affairs", there is no mention of 9/11: it has been re-worded in the following way:

"Excellency, you are at least expected to appoint an independent fact-finding team which is trusted by the countries of the region, to launch a comprehensive investigation into the main intentions of NATO military presence in Afghanistan and Iraq, the methods used, and the outcome of their presence and engagement, with results to be presented to the General Assembly."

Western "Reuters type" media, and also scientific publications from Elseviers is getting predictably vanilla flavored, rarely daring to disturb the big corporate interests. It is marginilizing itself away from the position of a reliable information source to government and BigBusiness propaganda and zombie-feed.
