Former British Spy Annie Machon - 'Using Our Intelligence'
Annie Machon is a former intelligence officer for MI5, the UK Security Service, who resigned in 1996 to blow the whistle on the spies’ incompetence and crimes with her ex-partner, David Shayler. As a result she has had to go on the run around Europe, live in exile in France, face arrest and imprisonment, and watch as friends, family and journalists were arrested and sometimes convicted. Annie is an author, media pundit, journalist, campaigner, and prominent public speaker on a variety of issues: security and intelligence, the war on terror, press and media freedoms, secrecy legislation and government accountability. She talks about what it is like to be a spy, blow the whistle and go on the run. Give me a good reason to trust Machon
The problem with Annie Machon is that her ex-partner David Shayler is now a cross-dressing squater who thinks he's the Messiah. Seriously.
Just when he was getting into 9/11 Truth he lost his marbles (no not those marbles) and went nuts (err..sorry no pun intended). She better have some darn good information relevant to 9/11 truth for me because otherwise I wouldn't touch her with a flag pole.
I'm not saying this association alone excludes her from my trust-circle but does anyone here know what her relevance to 9/11 Truth is? I looked over her site and I can't find much about 9/11. Is Machon just the British version of Sibel Edmonds, another whistle blower and alleged 9/11 Truth activist who seems to ignore the demolition of the WTC complex all together? Is Machon relevant to 9/11 Truth because, considering her associations, I don't see any reason to spend time on her.

I was just sitting here listening to Machon do a talk and she mentioned MI5 taking love letters between her and Shayler. It make sense to me. But why would Machon be allowed to continue her campaign?

Just to let you know that I have met Annie on two occasions. The first she was accompanying Willie Rodriguez on his European speaking tour; the second was at a Make Wars History event. I have heard her speak and she makes it clear that she considers 911 to be a false flag operation.

If you don't understand
the relevance of Annie Machon's contribution to 9/11 truth, you don't get the most likely explanation for 9/11 ... namely, that it was a covert operation hatched / orchestrated / sponsored by the IC or elements thereof. Annie's story provides context, a first hand account of the way the IC operates and is invaluable to anyone who wishes to gain insight into the secret machinations and covert antics of the "security state".
David Shayler has likewise, made a valuable contribution to 9/11 truth and should be respected for the work he's done... I find the criticisms leveled here, at both Machon and Shayler, to be insulting and unfounded.

Insulted? Am I the only one that finds that silly? Besides the fact that you feeling insulted doesn't really matter to 9/11 Truth...there is hardly any criticism of Machon here. The only critical points made were:
1. She's an ex-spook
2. Her ex-spook partner / ex-boyfriend is a 911 Truther who now is a cross-dresser who thinks he's the Messiah

If you're insulted that people would discuss these GIANT red flags then I'm not really sure what to say about that. I'm not going to apologize, that's for certain.
What I find interesting is that people really don't seem to know how Machon's story relates to 9/11 Truth or even know her story at all. The few that seem to know don't help much because they mainly provide appreciated but non-informative comments like:
"I trust her because I met her and she thinks 9/11 was a false flag"
And your post, for example, gives no actual facts, information, or links about Machon or Shayler. You claim these people have made valuable contributions and provide a vague description about something called the "IC" and the 'Security State". You seem to even chastise those who might not "get it" when it comes to understanding how Machon's story relates to the 9/11 Attacks the the WTC demolition.
If you go to Machon's website you'll have to wade through page after page of reports on everything but the 911 Attacks and 9/11 Truth and even then you probably won't figure out how her story relates to the 911 Attacks and the demolition of the WTC complex.. If she was that crucial to understanding the 9/11 Attacks then she or you could make it a little more obvious for us.
It's time 9/11 Truth kick it up a notch when it comes to disinformation. Let's stop messing with the low apples on the tree like "Space Beams" and "Holographic Planes" and "Killtown". Let's ask ourselves:
What information is really mis-directing the quest for 9/11 Truth?
What does REAL disinformation look like?
Who is and has been promoting it and wasting our time?

I said "insulting", not "insulted"... I don't feel insulted, I find your remarks insulting to Annie Machon and David Shayler.
IC is Intelligence Community, "security state" is a euphemism for the unelected, unaccountable "sovereign", the actual rulers as opposed to the so-called "elected representatives"....
If you have listened to Machon's story and you still don't get the relevance of her testimony, if you can't see the "context" provided by her account of her experiences working for British intelligence, then nothing I can say here will make any difference to you.
