Counterpunch to End Censorship of 9/11 truth???
Just noticed this advertisement in Counterpunch.org for its print edition. Sort of a shocking headline, and it got my attention because Counterpunch has never presented any 9/11 truth at all, ever. In fact, I remember Alexander Cockburn of Counterpunch being downright insulting of the entire 9/11 movement. Like almost all other alternative media, Counterpunch has felt the need, for some still unknown reason, to censor the most proven and well documented evidence provided by the 9/11 truth movement proving the official 9/11 story to be untrue.
And yet, here is this ad. Seems odd to me, but I will not again pay the $35 to get the print edition and find that the truth is censored on this media outlet like so many others. My money is better spent on organizations that support the truth, no matter how unappealing.
If any of you do get this print edition, please tell us where they are going with this ad.

Seems obvious
It's a story about what poisoned the rescue workers.
As for Counterpuch and the truth, they've let Paul Craig Roberts speak it there, but other than that it I've seen nothing but denial from Cockburn and crew.
Me, too.
And it sort of surprised me, as Counterpunch has been brave enough to shine the light on the horrors of Israel and Palestine.
Why are they avoiding this topic?
This question is never answered. Somebody must know.
We guess at the answer, but nobody seems to know for sure. Same for all the rest of the alternative media sources.
Seems it has to do with their funding, often from foundations, which link to big corporations, elite organizations, and pro Israel or oil involved groups.
People are people
Most people cling to the official story simply because the alternatives are too ugly for them to think clearly about, and because of the psychological and sociological factors explained here. Of course some people are bought-off or intimidated into towing the line too, but the bulk of societies denial of 9/11 is simply a matter of self perpetuating mass delusion. That holds true for people in media just as much as in government, academia, and everywhere else.

that I share regarding their censorship, the Libby Vermiculite asbestos story is a real deal and could be a heavy blow for the 9/11 cover up.
If the truth about the asbestos amount will be known (I calculated a sum of 700-1000 tons mere asbestos fibres), the hot demolition thesis may look not so far fetched...

I think you are right, to a degree.............
I think you are right that many people just cannot imagine so horrible a thing.............our own country being involved in the planning of 9/11.
But I think the major reason people do not believe it is because they do not see it on mainstream and well respected media.
There is so much weird stuff on small websites and there really is no reason for somebody to take the time to find out about 9/11 truth when it is only pushed by very small, unknown and generally hidden websites.
I have to admit.................if I don't see information on sites that I respect, I don't give the information a lot of time.

That goes for people within the media too, as even if they can face the ugly truth themselves, many will value social acceptance over speaking the truth, knowing society has been conditioned to stop respecting anyone who does speak it.. It's a vicious cycle of self-perpetuating mass delusion.
