Good news

I am pleased to report that the video now contains an incorrect statement:

New Democrats make formal request for committee hearings on G8/G20 security
Wed 30 Jun 2010

OTTAWA – New Democrat Public Safety and National Security Critic Don Davies (Vancouver Kingsway) has written a letter to recall the House of Commons Public Safety committee to study all issues surrounding security at the G8 and G20 summits.

The letter has been circulated to other parties for their signature, and will trigger a committee meeting within five days of its receipt by the committee clerk.

“The implementation of summit security has raised critical issues that the committee needs to start work on immediately,” said Davies. “Serious questions have been raised about the conduct of security personnel, violations of civil liberties, violence and property destruction and the questionable political decisions that led to these problems.

“After spending $1 billion on security, Canadians deserve answers.” -30-

This video has been featured as the "website of the day" on Counterpunch. 1500 views in two days, so I think it has viral potential. That would certainly be a good thing since a poll just came out claiming that a majority of Canadians "support the actions of the police" at the G20. If the poll is accurate, which is questionable, I attribute this to several factors:

- ignorance of agent provocateurs
- media coverage which looped the burning police car footage over and over again, making it look like the whole city was going up in flames
- media coverage which downplayed/omitted the most egregious scenes of police brutality/misconduct
- a general ignorance about the protesters, their message, and police tactics

This is a dark time for Canada and arguably a turning point in our history as a nation.

Good News...

Hopefully this video makes it through the Canadian activist internet circuit and does indeed go viral. Another chapter if you ever plan on extending it could be what the peaceful protesters are actually protesting against or for. That would be interesting as well as the rest. Great video.

This is not the country in

This is not the country in which I grew up and spent most of my life. The sad thing is, most people are unable to see what's going on or don't care.
The good news is, humans really do have a breaking point when it comes to taking bulls4it from the power elite. That's how revolutions start. We just haven't reached the breaking point yet with the critical mass.

Great Video

This is the way these NWO thugs operate but like they say, "You ain't seen nothing yet." I live near Oakland and there is a killer cop on trial right now. They are stretching the trial out so it gets more publicity. When the verdict is finally in all hell will break loose. It will make Watts look like a stroll in the park. Mark my words. This is why our work as 9/11 truthers is so important. I don't think I have to explain why.

Ridiculous attempts to justify "security"

A kid was on his way to a fantasy roleplay event, but was arrested and his toys were seized AND DISPLAYED BY THE POLICE IN A PUBLIC PRESS CONFERENCE as part of the police effort to help justify the "security". Amptgard is the name of the popular roleplay game.
