Alex talks with intelligence officer Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer who has says that the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency failed to properly evaluate intelligence on supposed 9/11 hijacker Mohamed Atta. Shaffer's allegations subsequently became known as the Able Danger controversy. In September, it was reported that the Pentagon had destroyed 9,500 copies of Shaffer's book Operation Dark Heart. Shaffer currently serves as the Reserve G6 Assistant Chief of Staff, Communications and Technology of an Army Reserve division. He received his B.A. in political science and environmental studies from Wright State University in 1986.

For some reason Able Danger is viewed out of context

The CIA, FBI and NSA also knew about some of the hijackers. Just like Able Danger, the secrecy has prevented the public from understanding why al Qaeda operatives were free to roam the country.

Former FBI Director Freeh stated at the time of Able Danger publicity that he believed 9/11 could have been prevented if the information had been shared with the FBI. He never explained (he probably wasn't even asked) what was going on with the FBI in relation to al-Hazmi/al-Mihdhar and the bizarre conduct of the RFU and UBLU.

Treason & Consequences

Treason & Consequences

Great piece of work

And I think it's a needed reminder that TREASON is indeed exactly what we are talking about. "Treason at the Top" as Schoenman puts it. We have no right to back off off this in any way, shape, or form. Or even to allow ourselves to be put on the defensive. If there was the slightest doubt I would hesitate to make such a charge. But there isn't any doubt so lets raise our voices and call out the traitors!!!

Exactly

Thanks I appreciate your words. It is exactly what I wanted to say when I made the video, to send the message out as a visceral reminder that we are in the right and the murderers are in the wrong, and they will pay the price.

Sibel never said what he said she said.

More about Sibel.

I'd love to know which "liberals" support the drone attacks (another part of the interview). I think Cindy spoke about that in January.

I haven't watched that in a while, but I think she spoke about how someone actually said to her, "Cindy, why don't you support the drone attacks? No soldiers are being killed." That doesn't sound like a "liberal." It sounds like someone who supports the war, but doesn't want the soldiers to be killed. To me, a true liberal, would oppose every aspect of the occupations. And I don't even think you have to be a liberal. Just someone that knows the difference between right and wrong.

Sibel Edmonds, Coleen Rowley, and others are scheduled to speak on 1/15/2011 at FBI Headquarters in Washington DeCeit to protest the FBI's arresting of anti-war activists.
