The recordings you posted helped some. They establish the plane was flying level ( as best as could anyway ) before pitching into the ground. Like many, I was under the impression it was pitched from high altitude and flown straight into the ground. It can help explain why the debris was so spread out. Also if flown low enough, long enough, the last two calls could have been made. Or is the idea that cell phone calls could have been made from high altitude at that time completely wrong?

The testimony by Lee doesn't help with phone calls but clears up some aspects. My focus is on the FBI report that says only 2 calls were made by cell phones. Of course, ask anyone who doesn't research like we do, and they think all were made by cell phones. The report also says 0 calls connected from flight 77 and we have to deal the calls to Ted Olsen. Were there seatback phones on the planes at the time? I have a hard time trusting Ron Balsamo and Pilots for truth even if was working with DRG. I feel DRG is doing all he can to get to the real facts but we can take faith in the wrong people as we all know too well.

I guess what I would like to see is the actual phone records for proof. When troubleshooting a customer phone issue, I could sign into a switch, dial out and enter the "return call" field with anything I like, the customer wouldn't know. What I can't fool is the record keeping, the origination of the call and what I entered would appear in a phone report. The FBI made a report about the phone calls and also a seating chart for the Moussaoui trial, but never entered into evidence phone reports or the original passenger manifests supporting the charts they submitted. I understand there is no evidence the calls were faked, but there is also little evidence (that I've seen anyway ) that can say they took place. By this, I am referring to the calls to Ted Olsen. Given his history with Bush, its hard to believe him. The Mark Bingham call seemed odd too.

You ask if I would believe DRG or witnesses and my answer is neither and/or both, it depends on what the evidence shows and corroborates what was seen and heard. Witnesses are helpful, but can be unreliable and so can evidence when interpreted incorrectly. For example the demolition of the wtc complex, witness and untampered physical evidence and physics make a compelling argument that simply has become irrefutable in my estimation. The same will go with the phone calls. Without better evidence they were faked and no phone records to support FBI claims, I take the position the calls were real despite conflicts of whether made from airphones or cell phones. It is these calls that confirm hijackers were on the planes despite shoddy airport video, no original passenger manifests, and 4 hijackings without one hijack code being sent, missing CVR's. Flight 93's is the only CVR recovered and presented as evidence albeit to select family members behind closed doors without notes, recordings, etc.. but my skepticism still runs pretty high on these accounts.

Exactly. People tend to embrace theories that have the potential to prove 9/11 was an inside job, without much regard for the tenability of such theories.
