Nearly ten years after the destruction of the three World Trade Center skyscrapers on 9/11, and despite an ever-growing number of professional and lay petitioners, AE911Truth wanted to speed up the process of reaching a critical mass of supporters to fulfill our mission. With funds raised on our website specifically for the purpose, we retained the services of Ilene Proctor, International Public Relations, headquartered in Beverly Hills, CA.

Proctor is no newcomer to public relations, with dozens of prominent clients listed on her website. She has helped politicians, authors, and activists across the political spectrum, as well as more mainstream business clients, achieve greater visibility in the media. She is currently helping promote the AE11Truth Midwest Tour that begins April 3, 2011, in Ames/Des Moines, IA, having already secured eighteen interviews. She accomplished this by working closely with the AE911Truth Media Outreach Team to craft a power-packed press release which was sent to her exclusive contacts list and then followed up on personally.

When asked how this project compares with other projects she has been involved with, she admitted that it has thus far been more daunting.

“The difficulty relates in large measure to the inertia that has been built up over the years in the media, and to pressures exerted by powerful corporate interests,” she said.

Ms. Proctor believes the work of AE911Truth, if it is successful, could lead to fundamental changes in US policies, foreign and domestic. She also believes that the chances for success relate directly to significantly expanding the number of supporters – not just petition signers, but also donors, store customers who purchase and use AE911Truth promotional materials, and dedicated volunteers. AE911Truth has placed this important promotional element of its future in Proctor’s hands. We are deeply grateful for her help, and for the outstanding generosity of the donors who made it possible for us to hire her.
