Dr. Nafeez Mosaddeq Ahmed on the Death of Osama Bin Laden

"Nafeez Ahmed’s understanding of the post 9/11 power game, its lies, illusions and dangers, is no less than brilliant." - John Pilger

During filming for the upcoming documentary feature 'The Crisis of Civilization' Dean Puckett asked best-selling author and international security analyst Dr. Nafeez Ahmed for his thoughts on the recent death of Osama Bin Laden.

SYNOPSIS: The Crisis of Civilization is a documentary feature film investigating how global crises like ecological disaster, financial meltdown, dwindling oil reserves, terrorism, food shortages and the militarization of society are converging symptoms of a single, failed global system.

Weaving together archival film footage and animations, film-maker Dean Puckett (The Elephant In The Room) and international security analyst Dr. Nafeez Mosaddeq Ahmed -- author of A User's Guide to the Crisis of Civilization: And How to Save It - take you on a surreal journey through an alarming tapestry of global systemic failure.

Offering a stunning wake-up call proving that 'another world' is not merely possible, but on its way, they warn that the inability to recognize the interconnections between different crises is preventing us, as a civilization, from saving ourselves.

Agree!

Very balanced and thoughtful. He does not fall into either the trap that we "know" OBL was already dead or that there is overwhelming evidence that was assassinated 2011. It seems as if many people here at 911blogger thinks Nafeez agnostic stance is cranky. I would disagree.

I agree also

We can't know with certainty whether Osama bin Laden had been dead and this point in time was picked to eliminate the use of him as a patsy, or if he was alive and was actually eliminated as the patsy in the recent raid. The lack of photographs/video of him alive and then dead during the raid, the lack of independent corroboration of his death, and the quick burial at sea, do cast doubt that he was actually killed in this raid, as these things make perfect sense in a cover-up of there being no body to produce and much less sense if there was.

Since he was most certainly a patsy at some level (he could not have caused the controlled demolitions of the buildings without insider help) and there was no hard evidence against him for the 911 attacks, then he would never have been captured for questioning and brought to trial. The fact that the story on the recent raid is that he was shot while unarmed and not captured also lends credence to the patsy role (since if he actually was the mastermind this makes no sense) and in my opinion this is now a weak spot for the present official 911 conspiracy theory/story.

The main requirement in this case would have been for the patsy to never appear in a public courtroom, to ensure the perception of guilt was maintained in the public mind, since there was no hard evidence of his involvement in the 911 attacks. That requirement could have been fulfilled if he was already dead, and his death staged at a convenient later time, or if he was actually assassinated in the recent raid as we have been told.

The most that can probably be said is that Osama bin Laden is deceased, although we can't say with certainty when he died. The fact that he is dead would allow Barrack Obama to say what he did on the 60 Minutes show when he said "he will never be seen on this earth again". Interestingly, during an appearance last year before a congressional committee Eric Holder had the prescience to say he would never appear in court as he would never be taken alive.

Well put

"The fact that the story on the recent raid is that he was shot while unarmed and not captured also lends credence to the patsy role (since if he actually was the mastermind this makes no sense) and in my opinion this is now a weak spot for the present official 911 conspiracy theory/story."

A very weak spot indeed.

If he really were the mastermind of or seriously involved in 9/11, of course they would have captured him alive for interrogation. What a cornucopia of highly important information he would have been.

Especially if AQ has nukes

An actual commando raid that finds the unarmed 'mastermind' of 9/11 and leader of Al-Qaeda, a terrorist organization that supposedly has nuclear weapons now, and yet they shoot him dead instead of capturing him for interrogation?!

This also takes the pressure off the KSM trial and possible lack of tangible evidence showing he was the mastermind because we got the original mastermind. Heck it doesn't matter if KSM is ever convicted. OBL DEAD: "CASE CLOSED" Just like Bruce Ivins.

.

"Patsy"

is the operative word.

"The main requirement in this case would have been for the patsy to never appear in a public courtroom, to ensure the perception of guilt was maintained in the public mind, since there was no hard evidence of his involvement in the 911 attacks."

Yes, and as you mentioned earlier, Tony, LHO comes right to mind.

An awsome organization of points

And thank you for the video of that.

And it does jog my memory. In 2001, congress waged war on those who committed 911 and their supporters. Bin Laden is dead - the war is over.

But while that is true - while the reason for war is dying out, I find this just in print..

GOP seeks to redefine war on terror
http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0511/54636.html

But we have seen war-crazed Obama, there has always been war-crazed Hillary, and now with the support of the GOP in congress, an open-ended war on terror without any association with 911. This means a state of war based out of the White House free to fight newly defined enemies - the taleban, al qaeda, and under the patriot act they can make enemies up and remove their bodies and what can anybody say about that? They can make up and fight their own wars - like Iran Contra, or other things since. This is where congress not only writes a blank check to the executive for conducting war if he (she) so chooses, but where congress writes a permanent blank check to the executive on war. I believe that would make Obama an Emperor. I also have seen no sign of a soul in that man, or anything short of a desire on his part to be one. He ordered international assistance out of the gulf for the first 72 days of the spill - gave it to BP. He expands war and likes private military contracting. I have been told he asked France for troops for domestic policing (and the offer was declined, saying Americans all have guns).

Come to think of it, with over 300 million people, how will the police situation work, like, if there is some national chaos. And to say such a thing, I guess we don't know what it is. They built $375 Million in domestic detention facilities for "emergency purposes". There are over 50,000 troops trained for domestic peace-keeping purposes (last i knew). There is the DHS, which created millions of jobs at a time when we didn't need any new jobs, thus producing millions of jobs where people don't know how to do anything, and who are also, collectively waltzing with the 4th or other amendment everywhere they go, at the very least in their political considerations. DHS rules legislated in congress and put into action by the president via DHS have not yet been through the judicial interpretations of things that have been around longer. Who knows what will happen when, in so many cases, the DH is challenged with a law suit for their activities (with the wrong parties, I suppose). So how do you police the American population? I don't think anybody can really get too violent with this bunch. It's big, and it has a lot of guns.

I digress...

Great piece

Thanks for the footage Gareth...

My only complaint is that while Nafeez repeatedly mentions reports of Binny's death four years ago, he doesn't mention the much more numerous reports of Binny's death in 2001, immediately after he denied involvement in 911. Again, this doesn't really matter, as people can claim responsibility for acts that they have not committed, but it is significant in the context of 911.

It must also be stressed that there is NO EVIDENCE linking Bin laden to 911, and that Bin Laden could not have imploded B7.

Nafeez makes good points

Excellent observations. I'm left thinking...huh, brave commando raid on a retirement home, and a nurse came charging at them, so they shot her, and the patient behind her.
But really, the Pakistan "hit" must be just a precurser to one huge bomb to be going off, somewhere soon. And the blame will go to one of the terror factions, among the many, that live in an utterly pissed off mood, all damn day long.

shhhhh

We're only supposed to support Bin laden Kill raid theories!

I'm

...still polishing that badge. ;)

inside sources

He touches about inside information such as the Dubai hospital visit, but the information from Dr. Steve Pieczenik produces information from the inside, not the outside looking in. Plus, the tireless work of David Ray Griffin also show evidence of his being long dead and gone..

What really deserves front page positioning is the new post by Professor Steven Jones, Responses to questions regarding thermite, nanothermite and conventional explosives used in the WTC destruction.

Agree

Great points Jonathan. Dr Steve Pieczeniks ideas about this topic have to be taken seriously.
