The Dallas Observer 9/11 Display Ad

“North Texans for 9/11 Truth” http://www.northtexas911truth.com/ is proud to say that we are promoting three important 9/11 Truth organizations, in addition to promoting our local Video Premiere Event of "9/11: Explosive Evidence – Experts Speak Out". We would like to garner local attention and support for “Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth”,“RememberBuilding7.org” and “The Toronto Hearings”.

Each week, The Dallas Observer prints and distributes 86,000 free copies of its publication in addition to being available online. The Dallas Observer is also “married” to a separate national online advertising entity called “Backpage.com”.

In this week’s printed version of The Dallas Observer (Sept 1st-7th), we have a ¼ page sized ad running. It is located one page turn of the final back page. Also, we have a line ad on The Dallas Observer Backpage which promotes our Anniversary Video Premiere Event.

In next week’s issue of The Dallas Observer (September 8th-14th), we will have a 1/16th page display ad placed on the exterior Backpage along with a line ad which promotes the Video Premiere Event.

TomT Gets It Done!

Thanks Tom, it looks great.
I deeply appreciate all your effort, and also the effort of all who sincerely endeavor to get the truth of 9/11 into the publics' eye.
Thanks to all researchers and whistleblowers.

Amen.

This is the stuff that makes me the happiest. Because you think about all the people who have not been exposed to this information. New eyes is what we need. Very inspiring. Thanks TomT and everyone else like Joe says.

A comment on the marketing

This ad is using an “assumptive”. It takes for granted that a 9/11 Cover-up exists. It assumes a fact. It is like an “everybody knows”.

The ad does not proselytize nor try to coerce a new person to look into 9/11 Truth. In fact, the ad pretends to ignore people who are not aware. This is a “withdraw approach”. It does not “push” an idea. It is a subtle stratagem using a “soft sell”.

The ad is designed to reach two target audiences.
1) 9/11 Truthers
2) New People

Any advertising is asking the viewer “to do something”.

Interest plays a role in “to do something”. The more inertia or effort involved in order “to do something”, the more the viewer needs to have a stronger interest. It takes a degree of interest before an individual can overcome the effort involved which is associated with the task.

This ad is designed to give people “something that they can easily do”. A green person to 9/11 Truth need only apply a keystroke. The effort involved is very little and only requires a mild curiosity by the viewer. The ad contains a confrontable task with no baggage proselytizing about the subject.

Two Fundamentals to Marketing.
1) Attract Attention
2) Generate Interest

Looks Great!

Damn, that looks good. Great job, TomT. and N. Texans! The black background makes it really stick out... and you promoted the best of the best.

I have a contact at the Houston Free Press, largest weekly paper in Houston, who will run a 1/4 page ad for free. Owner is friends with A/E. Can you shoot me the artwork for this ASASP?

Man! McGee you got promotion connections all over!

Email headed your way.

Absolutely Fantastic!

I'm so sick of the 10th anniversary propaganda, here is the antidote! Three cheers for TomT and the North Texans!

Thanks Kevin O. It was a real team that made this happen.

Joe put jumper cables on this project to help get the thing to crank. ($ and cheering encouragement. He is the founder of North Texans and so his word carries weight.)
People from all around Texas, even 100's of miles away, chipped in. We got donations of $5 or $10 or $20 or more. In these tough economic times, some folks really didn't have the spare dough but they are contributing by doing all kinds of different actions. ...doing what they can. Lots of individual stories of dissemination, including a High School kid who is burning discs and giving them out at school and putting up flyers at school.

You are so right Kevin...
All these individual truth actions, big or small, sure add up.
9/11 Truth is becoming a real juggernaut!

Juggernaut - an unstoppable force or idea

Nicely done.

Great Job Tom Joe and North Texans.

Good idea, excellent follow through.

Moving email response from the ad in Houston

A lady in Indiana saw the Houston ad.

Here is what she wrote:
TO YOU ALL OF YOU COURAGEOUS AND HONEST PEOPLE.
Thank you for what you have done, and continue to do,to find justice for such a horrific crime in american history.I am an American from Indiana that has not healed from these crimes that took place on September 11,2001.I have been following your progress for some time. I was so relieved that I wasn't the only one that saw a lot of problems with the NIST report, just from a lay mans point of view. You have given me hope that the criminals will be held accountable.I hope you can get wide coverage of your final report out to the world.I will do my part and spread on facebook/twitter/e-mail.Sending a small donation from my social security to help you in your honorable and brave work. Please take safety precautions.
Thank you again for fighting the fight for justice.
Thank you from this generation and the next.
Looking forward to the report.
