US National hero believes the US government was behind the 9/11 attacks. William Rodriguez a janitor working in the North Tower of the World Trade Center building in New York who helped rescue thousands on that Tuesday morning, believes: Rodriguez is In Tehran to attend the 3rd Hollywoodism International Conference on filmmaking. In a press conference at Tehran's [Farsi] News Agency, he discussed the events of the 9/11 attacks.

On September 11, 2001 two planes belonging to American Airlines Flight 11 and United Airlines Flight 175, were crashed into the North and South towers of the World Trade Center complex in New York City. Both towers collapsed within two hours and falling debris, combined with fires that led to the partial or complete collapse of all the other buildings in the World Trade Center complex. A third plane, American Airlines Flight 77, was crashed into the Pentagon (the headquarters of the United States Department of Defense), leading to a partial collapse in the building's west side. The fourth plane, United Airlines Flight 93, was targeting the United States Capitol in Washington, D.C., but reportedly crashed into a field near Pennsylvania.

Mr. Rodriguez explained the US government opened a compensation fund awarding 1.6 to 3 million dollars to the victims of these families if they agreed not to sue the US government. Under the pretext of those attacks, then US president George W. Bush ordered the invasions of Afghanistan in 2001 and then Iraq in 2003 for what the US and its allies call, the war on terror.

Good posting; thanks...

But Joe, you might want to correct this small spelling error: "Tehran's *Farce* News Agency..."

The word would be 'Farsi' and it refers to the language they speak there, namely Farsi -- and that word is related to our word for it, Persian. Calling it a Farce news agency brings in a comical element and thus detracts from the report, I would think.

Unrelated Video

They (Iran's TV network PressTV) cut to a unrelated event at 1:47 when the segment on the Pentagon started.
