Levine is incompetence theorist
Any time I've listened to Mike Levine's 'Expert Witness' show on WBAI, he drives me up the wall by his consistent refusal ever to step outside the bounds of incompetence theory. Whether the subject is terrorism or the trade in drugs or weapons, the explanation is always that government agents are incompetent 'keystone cops.' Whenever he sounds like he might be about to step across the line into more serious analysis, he consistently holds back. All while pumping himself up as this fearless truth-teller. Here, again, he seems to think the problem is that intelligence is in the hands of 'amateurs.'
