Revelations About Prince Bandar And Osama Bassnan?

Hopefully you’ve heard about the partial release of the 28 redacted pages from the Joint Congressional Inquiry Into 9/11. There are still many redactions throughout the pages.

Here is an excerpt from the pages:

“A CIA report also indicates that Bassnan traveled to Houston in 2002 and met with an individual who was (redacted). The report states that during that trip a member of the Saudi Royal Family provided Bassnan with a significant amount of cash. FBI information indicates that Bassnan is an extremist and supporter of Usama Bin Laden, and has been connected to the Eritrean Islamic Jihad and the Blind Shayk;” - pg. 417

Here is the entry from www.historycommons.org about this incident which is more descriptive, along with an excerpt from that entry:

“While in Texas, it is believed that Bassnan “met with a high Saudi prince who has responsibilities for intelligence matters and is known to bring suitcases full of cash into the United States.”

The only article I can find describing someone like that is Prince Bandar:

"How rich is Bandar? A friend of mine used to drive for the prince. I can't mention the name for fear of a fatwa, but I was told that there were often suitcases taken off the prince's airplanes that were literally bulging with cash."

So it SEEMS that Bassnan met with Bandar AFTER 9/11 to get more money in Houston. IF it is indeed Bandar (which I think it is).

In August 2002, both Bassnan and his wife are deported for visa fraud.

On October 21st-22nd 2003, Dieter Snell from the 9/11 Commission went to Saudi Arabia and interviewed Osama Bassnan.

In his Memoranda For The Record (MFR), it says that "the interview failed to yield any new information of note. Instead, in the writer’s opinion, it established beyond cavil the witness’ utter lack of credibility on virtually every material subject."

In the footnote section of the 9/11 Report on page 516, it says "contrary to highly publicized allegations, we have found no evidence that Hazmi or Midhar received money from another Saudi citizen, Osama Bassnan."

Funny how they came to that conclusion considering his "utter lack of credibility on virtually every material subject."

How they wrote the report to continue the cover up

The above article states... it says "contrary to highly publicized allegations, we have found no evidence that Hazmi or Midhar received money from another Saudi citizen, Osama Bassnan."
Funny how they came to that conclusion considering his "utter lack of credibility on virtually every material subject."

Actually, it's probably true. It is how the 9-11 commission authors wrote the report, that is key to understanding how they continued the cover-up. Who's claiming they got money from Osama Bassnan? Publicized allegations say it was Bayoumi.....So they put in the 9-11 commission report....

"contrary to highly publicized allegations, we have found no evidence that Hazmi or Midhar received money from another Saudi citizen, Osama Bassnan."

Instead of this.....

"contrary to highly publicized allegations, we have found no evidence that Hazmi or Midhar received money from another Saudi citizen, Omar al-Bayoumi."

It was Bayoumi - no one ever claimed it was Basnan.....

From the recently released 28 pages:
Two individuals known to the FBI prior to September 11, 2001 – Omar al-Bayoumi and Osama Bassnan – may have provided assistance or support to al-Hazmi and al-Mihdhar while the two hijackers-to-be were living in San Diego. While the documentary evidence that al-Bayoumi provided assistance to al-Hazmi and al-Mihdhar is solid, the files contain only limited evidence that Osama Bassnan had contacts with the two individuals.

Al-Bayoumi then co-signed their lease and may have paid their first month’s rent and security deposit....there is no bank documentation that supports the reimbursement of [the rent money], or any monies to Omar Al-Bayoumi from al-Hazmi or Al-Mihdhar."

[Al-Bayoumi] acted like a Saudi intelligence officer, in my opinion. And if he was involved with the hijackers, which it looks like he was, if he signed leases, if he provided some sort of financing or payment of some sort, then I would say that there is a clear possibility that there might be a connection between Saudi intelligence and UBL.

According to FBI documents, al-Bayoumi’s pay increase during the time that al-Hazmi and al-Mihdhar were in the United States. According to a recent [redacted] analysis of ties between the terrorist attacks and elements of the Saudi Government, before al-Hazmi and al-Mihdhar arrived in the U.S., al-Bayoumi generally received approximately $465 per month in "allowances." According to the [redacted] document, in March 2000, a month after al-Hazmi and al-Mihdhar arrived in San Diego, his "allowances" jumped to over $3700 a month and stayed constant until December 2000, when al-Hazmi left San Diego. Al-Bayoumi’s allowances were then decreased to approximately $3,200 a month and stayed at that rate until al-Bayoumi left the United States in August 2001, approximately one month before the September 11th attacks.

After Thumairy has Agent Bayoumi move the hijackers to San Diego. Bayoumi attempts to cover up for their stay in L.A. with Thumairy, when he fills out their rental application. He also has their rent paid.

From FBI Investigation:
"AL-Bayoumi filled out the rental applications in the names of Khalid, Nawaf, and himself, and listed his own address as the previous residence of both Khalid and Nawaf even though they had never lived there. Khalid and Nawaf each signed their own signatures on the applications, and Al-Bayoumi signed his own signature on the application and as guarantor."

9/11 Commission report pretends Bayoumi wasn't covering the role Thumairy played housing the hijackers in Los Angeles as their contact in America

The hijackers were in L.A. from the time of their arrival on Jan 15 2000 till their move to San Diego in early Feb.

9-11 Commission report footnote:
"The rental application states that Hazmi and Mihdhar resided in Bayoumi's apartment from January 15 to Feb 2, 2000 but Bayoumi denies it, and we have found no reason to dispute his denial. According to Bayoumi, he was in such a hurry to complete the rental transactions that he signed the application form without reading it." page 533/585

No-he filled it out--according to the above FBI report

From FBI Report:
"Al-Hazmi and Khalid Al-Mihdhar attended introductory flight lessons in April/May of 2000 in California but after experiencing language difficulties, they stopped attending."
http://vault.fbi.gov/9-11%20Commission%20Report/9-11-fbi-report-2004-02%28feb%29

Who's paying for those flying lessons? It isn't Basnan, the 9-11 commission knows who it was.....

At that same time Bayoumi was given a raise of over $3000 a month.....

9-11 Commission footnote:
"In April 2000, Bayoumi received a promotion and his status was also adjusted from "single" to "married" (despite the fact that he was already married)" As a result his salary was raised and his "other allowances" stipend increased significantly from approximately $465 to $3925 a month page 532/585

They do the same thing with Thumairy. After the Meeting in Malaysia attended by Hazmi, Mihdhar, Bin Attash, and KSM, Hazmi and Mihdhar fly to Los Angeles, where Thumairy is. He is the contact in America. Not Bayoumi in San Diego. Bin Attash also uses Thumairy as we shall see in a moment. Thumairy is the one bringing Bayoumi into the conspiracy. Frankly, Hazmi and Mihdhar don't trust Bayoumi, they tell "Muppet" the FBI Informant(who they obviously do trust) that they think Bayoumi is a spy. So a simple question to ask Bin Attash or KSM, is their relationship with Thumairy. That's why those two are in gitmo being tortured. Look what happens....

FBI Investigation report:
FBI investigation has determined that Mohdar and the hijackers stayed at Deno's Motel on 06/09/2000. Information from FBI New York has revealed that on 12/31/1999, SAID SALEH BIN ATTASH, aka "KHALLAD" was a passenger from Bangkok to Los Angeles. Bin Attash is the alleged mastermind behind the bombing of USS Cole in Aden, Yemen. NewYork indicated that they had no record of Bin Attash actually entering the United States from that flight. New York opined that certain diplomatic arrangements exist at various airports which allow diplomats to meet incoming foreign nationals at the baggage carousels. New York opined that it may have been possible that someone from the Saudi Consulate in Los Angeles may have met Khallad and escorted him through customs.

Thumairy was the from the Saudi Consulate in Los Angeles with diplomatic status.

CIA report confirms Bin Attash in Los Angeles with Thumairy in June 2000

"Senior Al-Qai'da operative and USS Cole Attack planner TawfIQ Muhhammad Bin Salah Bin Rushayd Bin (Attash) AKA (Khallad Bin Attash), was in the area of Los Angeles, California during June 2000 for approximately two weeks. While in Los Angeles, Bin Attash attended prayer services at a local Los Angeles area Mosque. Bin Attash was seen in the company of several foreign individuals_______________________________________________________________________________________________________Bin Attash was seen in the company of Los Angeles-based Sunni Extremists ____________________________________________Fahad al-(Thumairy)" -- page 96/355

"FBI Los Angeles Investigative Results:
Los Angeles has determined that __________may be a potential contact of the hijackers and __________ in Los Angeles. ________is an administrative officer at the Saudi Consulate in Los Angeles and may have diplomatic status. _________is also believed to be one of the Imans at the King Fahad mosque.___________also fits the description, as provided_____________of the individual that ____________met at the Saudi consulate prior to _____________"chance" meeting with the hijackers at the restaurant."

It's because these FBI reports that I've known for years Thumairy was in the 28 pages....

December 29, 2013
Fahad al-Thumairy is the name being deleted as the potential contact of the hijackers. Fahad al-Thumairy was an administrative officer at the Saudi Consulate in Los Angeles, Bin Don provided the description that Bayoumi met at the Saudi consulate prior to his "chance" meeting with the hijackers. Fahad al-Thumairy's name appears no where in the unclassified version of the joint inquiry. Therefore Fahad al-Thumairy is mentioned in the 28 pages that have been censured from the joint inquiry.

So the question is what does Bin Attash or KSM say when questioned about their relationship with Thumairy, the contact in America helping to bring in all the terrorists?

Here is the answer provided by the 9-11 Commission....

911 commision footnote:
KSM has denied knowing Bayoumi page 533/585
http://avalon.law.yale.edu/sept11/911Report.pdf

But...

If Bassnan’s wife was signing

If Bassnan’s wife was signing checks over to al-Bayoumi’s wife, etc… and so on.

Then Like I said, "signings checks over to al-Bayoumi", is not  "signing checks over to Hazmi or Midhar, Bayoumi does that.

So they can be "technically correct", but are being deliberately misleading, when they write...

"we have found no evidence that Hazmi or Midhar received money from another Saudi citizen, Osama Bassnan."

If Bassnan's wife was signing checks over to al-Bayoumi's wife, etc...and so on.

Then they received it from Bayoumi who received it from Basnan.

On page 417...

It says "(Bassnan) also lived across the street from the hijackers, and made a comment to an FBI asset (Abdussatar Shaikh?) that he did more than al-Bayoumi did for the hijackers."

Role of Basnan covered up

No one is saying he did nothing. He's a busy guy. The 9-11 commission even found more stuff on Basnan than the joint inquiry did, like being in contact with Binalshibh, and trying to get other hijackers into the country.

So Basnan is not mentioned in their 9-11 commission report at all, but only once in the footnote you point out saying there was no evidence of him giving money to the hijackers. So they obvious did not exonerate him but covered up even more evidence against him.

Meet Osama Basnan and His Wife

We've corresponded through email...

And what James is saying is that "I'm pointing out the way the 9-11 commission was written. It's "technically correct" but intentionally misleading."
