I agree that Bill Clinton is no George Bush and almost has to be in a different wing of the elite than Bush and Cheney et al.

The fact that he was violently opposed and impeached over nonsense has to say something. Simple specualtion that he knows or was involved is not what you want to use to justify an adversial approach.

Bill Clinton raised taxes on the ultra rich and left a somewhat decent budget surplus when he left office which he recommended be used to shore up social security. That surplus was quickly eliminated by the neocons.

Bill Clinton also stood up to Big Oil in 2000 when he opened the stategic reserve to keep them from raising oil prices by inducing a shortage.

I would implore the WeAreChange folks to carefully consider these things when deciding who to confront and how it should be done based on who it is.

While I agree he should have been asked about it, going after Bill Clinton in an adverserial way with only speculation isn't going to win over people.

I am also not sure calling him scum like what was done in New York recently is the right thing to do, while I do think it is right to do that to the likes of Rudy Giuliani as he was demonstrably involved in 911. The same can be said of those who have pushed the 911 issue, like those who spoke at the 2004 Republican convention, which I really haven't seen Bill Clinton do.

As evidenced by Zbigniew Brzezinski's testimony to the U.S. Senate in February 2007, of his concern that a provocation will be staged implicating Iran as a pretext to going to war and bombing Iran, there is a definite split in the elite. The 911 truth movement should be using that to it's advantage to divide and conquer.

Although I agree with most of what you say about Clinton, you lose me after that.

It seemed to me that he was taken off guard, which is odd, because he is so sharp and quick on his feet.

He's probably not used to being "attacked" and "questioned" like that at his appearances, partly because he is so beloved by those who go to see him at such events.
