Let's just hope that it's not a disingenuous act in an effort to "cool the boiling water". Maybe I've become too cynical, but I have no hopes that any Congressperson will (or can) bring justice to the 9/11 victims' family members. Our grassroots movement has been active for several years already and only NOW they are *beginning* to look into getting *limited* investigations underway without a set timeframe. Does that latter point not remind anyone of what Congress says about bringing our troops home from the mid-east?
It's seems as though they're throwing meatless bones at us and we are gnawing away as though they are full meals. With the election 1 year away, the possibility for Impeachment is fading fast into oblivion. It perturbs my mind how we, who are clearly pushing the most revolutionary movement since the original Revolutionary War, are still putting our blind faith into presidential hopefuls who don't have a shot in hell to become elected president, nor do anything of consequence for our cause.
When neither Ron Paul (who claims to oppose re-opening 9/11) nor Dennis Kucinich (procrastinator-extraordinaire) do anything of substance to help our movement, what THEN will we do (or say)?
We might as well be preparing to hit the streets, ala WeareChange, right as we sit at our computers and laptops typing away. We need to become a movement of legs, not fingers.
But please...by all means, ignore this until Martial Law is declared. Wait until Santa is coming down the chimney to block off the fireplace.

What the US needs is a genuine Third Party alternative.
The Dems have displayed their true colors with their "No Impeachment" and "On to Iran" jingoism as displayed by Ms front-runner. It's a one party country.

I've looked into the AMI a bit. In my opinion they are a step in the right direction, but they don't go far enough--they still want to leave government with a monopoly control over the money supply! I think Ron Paul is superior on this issue because he wants to abolish the monopoly and leave the people free to decide what they want to use as a medium of exchange.

Has anyone here read Murray Rothbard's What Has Government Done to our Money? It really helped to clarify some of my thinking on this issue.
