Two More Letters Added to the Journal of 9/11 Studies

Kevin Ryan and Michael Fury have added very informative Letters to the Journal of 9/11 Studies.

Kevin's letter begins: "Just before the sixth anniversary of 9/11, Ryan Mackey, a new defender of the Bush Administration’s conspiracy theory, posted a 200-page paper that attempts to critique the NIST chapter of David Ray Griffin’s book, Debunking 9/11 Debunking.... Mr. Mackey refers to himself as a US government scientist, whose work includes the production of “strike aircraft weapon systems.” This means that his involvement in the discussion of the truth about 9/11 should be taken with the understanding that the official story of 9/11 supports an historic increase in military spending, and therefore benefits people who work for the military-industrial complex. Introducing himself, Mackey declares his allegiance to the James Randi Educational Foundation (JREF)..."

Michael Fury (pen name) writes an open letter to John Conyers, Chair of the House Judiciary Committee. He begins,
"I write to urge your immediate action on House Resolution 799, Articles of Impeachment against Vice President Cheney. Abundant evidence already in the public domain indicates he has violated his Oath of Office and is guilty of "high crimes" against the Constitution of the United States.

"In addition to the three Articles authored by Rep. Kucinich, Vice President Cheney must be investigated for (Article IV) his well-documented role in authorizing the use of torture against "enemy combatants"--including US citizens--in violation of US and International Law http://www.cnn.com/2005/US/11/20/torture/index.html http://www.cnn.com/2005/WORLD/europe/11/18/torture.vp/index.html ,
and (Article V) his evident false testimony to the 9/11 Commission regarding his actions on September 11, 2001, as revealed by the testimony of Norman Mineta before the 9/11 Commission archived here:
http://www.9-11commission.gov/archive/hearing2/9-11Commission_Hearing_2003-05-23.htm

"Mineta's testimony, considered in the context of the Vice President's vocal opposition to any investigation of the 9/11 attacks http://www.alternet.org/module/printversion/17816 http://archives.cnn.com/2002/ALLPOLITICS/01/29/inv.terror.probe/ and the highly unusual conditions of his eventual "meeting" with the 9/11 Commission http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fkxqprSfSFQ , is in itself sufficient cause for re-opening an investigation into the Vice-President's response to those "world-changing" attacks."

Request ==========

Can the Journal consider putting their material in standard HTML?

The PDF format is pointless (as utilized), as there isn't any fancy page layout. It just makes it difficult to cut and paste elsewhere (which may be the point, I don't know).

Anyway, others have suggested this as well. PDF isn't so user friendly.

the PDF's are not password

the PDF's are not password protected to prevent copying text. I don't use Acrobat Reader so I don't know if you can select text, but I know you can in Acrobat Professional.

NIST's pdf's

I've noticed that it is not possible to copy text from NIST's pdf's.

Great paper!

I always love reading Kevin's work, which is not only informative, straightforward, and easy to read, but hilariously witty too!

Once again...

really a great, and devastating, response to NIST, Kevin Ryan. Bravo!
