Dam Breaks, ABC News Covers Willie Nelson 9/11 Story

You say it like being patriotic is bad.

History will be kinder to her than, say Bill O'Reilly the former JFK truther who sold out.

She didn't have to say anything, but she did because she cared and it's damned important to all of us.

Bravo Willie Nelson, I'll be at that show if he ever comes up to Vancouver.

Oh, brother

No, patriotism is good. Willie Nelson is good. I shouldn't have to write that, but, for some people around here, feel-good cheerleading is all that matters.

I was expressing sympathy for Nelson, because like some other celebrity heroes he's going to pay the price for speaking out on 9/11. O'Donnell, by far the most popular panelist on The View, was fired. Then another network quickly sought at first to exploit her heightened popularity, when suddenly the Project Mockingbird/AIPAC media overlords sent down word that she's not to work on national television.

Charlie Sheen's handlers learned he wouldn't be working on network television anymore if he kept talking about 9/11. Suddenly Sheen won't take calls from the Loose Change filmmakers, whom he'd earlier informally promised that he'd do voice narration for their documentary.

I know Willie's going to feel the pinch, and I hope he's able to surmount it. He's a hero either way. Too bad some people around here don't like to look reality in the eye so that we can best find ways to deal with it.

Willie will save a lot of lives by this action !!

What a wonderful man!!! Willie Nelson's actions will help to save lives and help to bring peace and truth to this planet. He is helping to shape a better destiny. Thank you Willie... and thanks to all the truthers...every truth action counts.

If one does not thoroughly LOOK, the TRUTH is not visible.

Lt. Steve Butler

Why does Alex dilute Willie's comments by referencing Lt. Col Steven Butler? At best, Col Butler's letter was LIHOP based. Willie Nelson is talking MIHOP. Implosions!
Why does Alex detour Willie's very powerful comments by bringing up the Col Butler 2002 letter?

Perhaps he (AJ) just got excited.

Lt. Col. Steve Butler and the 9/11 "Hijackers"

In the interview with Willie Nelson by Alex Jones on February 4, 2008, Alex said that Lt. Col. Steve Butler went public about the U.S. government training the supposed 9/11 "hijackers." Alex might have in mind direct conversations he's had with Butler, but to my knowledge Butler hasn't gone public with that.

Although the New York Times and Gannett News Service reported that named 9/11 "hijacker" Saeed Alghamdi (United Airlines 93) attended the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center at the Presidio of Monterey in Monterey, California, at which Butler was serving as vice chancellor for student affairs. (See further below for that and much more on U.S. military training of purported 9/11 "hijackers.")

Below is a public letter by Butler stating that the 9/11 attacks were knowingly allowed to happen by the U.S. government:

"A copy of Lt. Col. Butler's letter," Monterey County Herald, June 5, 2002 http://web.petabox.bibalex.org/web/20021001201748/http://www.bayarea.com...

Below is further information on the Butler case:

"Air Force officer disciplined for saying Bush allowed September 11 attacks Hijacker attended US military school," Jerry Isaacs, World Socialist Web Site (WSWS), June 21, 2002 http://www.wsws.org/articles/2002/jun2002/offi-j21.shtml

Related to what Alex spoke about is the case of Michael Springman, the former head of the American visa bureau in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, who told the BBC:

In Saudi Arabia I was repeatedly ordered by high level State Dept officials to issue visas to unqualified applicants. These were, essentially, people who had no ties either to Saudi Arabia or to their own country. I complained bitterly at the time there. I returned to the US, I complained to the State Dept here, to the General Accounting Office, to the Bureau of Diplomatic Security and to the Inspector General's office. I was met with silence.

What I was protesting was, in reality, an effort to bring recruits, rounded up by Osama Bin Laden, to the US for terrorist training by the CIA. They would then be returned to Afghanistan to fight against the then-Soviets.

From "Has someone been sitting on the FBI?," Greg Palast, BBC Newsnight, November 6, 2001 http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/events/newsnight/1645527.stm

In original reports (i.e., not simply going off the reports of other news agencies) by Newsweek, the Los Angeles Times, the New York Times, the Washington Post, Associated Press, and Gannett News Service, the below accused 9/11 hijackers have been named as having trained at U.S. military bases:

Saeed Alghamdi (United Airlines 93)
Ahmed Alnami (United Airlines 93)
Ahmed Alghamdi (United Airlines 175)
Hamza Alghamdi (United Airlines 175)
Mohamed Atta (American Airlines 11)
Abdulaziz Alomari (American Airlines 11)

Below are some of the details from said reports:

- Pensacola Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Florida: Newsweek reported that a high-ranking U.S. Navy source said that Saeed Alghamdi, Ahmad Alnami (both United Airlines 93) and Ahmed Alghamdi (United Airlines 175) listed their legal residences at 10 Radford Boulevard, a base roadway where residences for foreign-military flight trainees are located. As well, military records listed them there. Saeed Alghamdi listed the address on two different car registrations. Ahmad Alnami and Ahmed Alghamdi listed the address on their driver licenses. The Washington Post reported that Saeed Alghamdi and Ahmed Alghamdi attended. The Washington Post further reported that Ahmed Alnami and Hamza Alghamdi (United Airlines 175) listed their legal residence at the same address.

- Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas: Newsweek reported that a high-ranking Pentagon official said one of the named hijackers attended. The Washington Post reported that Saeed Alghamdi (United Airlines 93) graduated from the Defense Language Institute English Language Center at the base. The Los Angeles Times reported that a defense official said two of the hijackers were former Saudi fighter pilots who had attended.

- Maxwell-Gunter Air Force Base in Montgomery, Alabama: Newsweek reported that a high-ranking Pentagon official said one of the named hijackers attended the Air War College. The Washington Post reported that Mohamed Atta (American Airlines 11) graduated from the International Officers School. Gannett News Service reported that Air Force spokesman Col. Ken McClellan said that Mohammed Atta attended the International Officer's School. The Los Angeles Times reported that a defense official said two of the hijackers were former Saudi fighter pilots who had attended the Air War College.

- The Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center at the Presidio of Monterey in Monterey, California: the New York Times and Gannett News Service reported that Saeed Alghamdi (United Airlines 93) attended.

- USAF School of Aerospace Medicine at Brooks Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas: The Washington Post reported that Abdulaziz Alomari (American Airlines 11) graduated from the school. Gannett News Service reported that Abdulaziz Alomari attended.

U.S. government officals later claimed that these individuals who trained on these U.S. military bases were probably different people from the hijackers with the same names (even though high-level anonymous U.S. military sources told these various news agencies with certainty that these were the same individuals as the named hijackers). It was also vaguely stated that some of the biographical details didn't match exactly for some of the named individuals, although the U.S. government has never specified the differences or offered any evidence of these claims. Notably, none of these named U.S. military trainees have ever come forward to clear up the association of their names with those of the purported hijackers, and the U.S. government refuses to release any information about these supposedly differrent individuals.

It's as if none of these supposedly different individuals with the same names even exist. That doesn't make any sense, unless they are not different individuals from the named hijackers, in which case even if they were still alive they wouldn't likely be eager to come forward, nor would the U.S. government be eager to present details as to where they can be found.

For more documentation on the purported hijackers which clearly demonstrates that they were not Muslim extremists but did cocaine, hired prostitutes, drank alcohol, partied hard, etc., see the below post by me. It also gets into the fact that the supposed hijackers obviously knew that they had protection from the highest levels of the U.S. government and repeatedly went out of their way to draw attention to themselves as crazed, potential terrorists, as if to build a "legend" backstory. Additionally covered is the fact that the many FBI agents attempting to investigate these supposed hijackers were repeatedly and consistently blocked and ordered not to investigate these supposed hijackers, despite forceful protestations from said FBI agents that terrorist attacks were going to happen.

The below post by me contains the November 10, 2003 article "September 11--Islamic Jihad or Another Northwoods?" by Tim Howells, Ph.D., which is a very good, short introduction to just some of the more damning mainstream major media articles and U.S. government primary documentation which proves up one side and down the other that the 9/11 attacks and the following anthrax attacks were a Hegelian dialectical PsyOp staged by the U.S. government as a pretext in order to obtain more power and control. I append my own additional endnotes at the conclusion of Dr. Howells' article, in order to add further mainstream documentation.

Ya, and too bad he...

...said implosionS (plural) because there was NOT multiple implosions. There was ONE: Building 7. The other two buildings EXPLODED.

Why can't people get this straight. The twin towers did NOT look like standard controlled demolitions. They were semi-controlled, top down explosions. Does anyone know how stupid it sounds when someone says they looked 'just like regular controlled demolitions.' Bullshit. They looked nothing like regular CDs.

Say this to a debunker, and you'll quickly be turned into a laughing stock.

Yup, just like I said...

Bill O'Reily did a bit on him, and guess which Willie quote he decided to air? You guessed it, his 'pinhead' remark stating that the twin towers' collapse looked like an 'implosion he say in Vegas'.

All the meat-heads watching Bill can EASILY discern the difference between a Vegas-style implosion, and the Twin Towers collapses, thus making Willie look like a laughing stock.

Pisses me right off.

So the great Willie Nelson

is a 9/11 truther! What better news could we have. He is a living legion so I am sure millions of his fans will give what he has to say about 9/11 a listen. God bless you Willie! You are a real American.

Not going to register to answer

But here is my response. The "holocaust denier" slur is despicable.

As a conservative, I’m used to having to overlook the politics of the artists I like. Entertainers tend to be very liberal. It’s a fact of life that I’ve learned to deal with. But trutherism is more than just disagreeing on the war or domestic policy. Trutherism is equivalent to holocaust denial in my book

Shame on you, Willie

Shame on you for using the people who were murdered in the Holocaust to make a cheap and completely illogical argument. How is demanding an explanation for what happened on 9/11, and considering the possibility that fascists embedded in our government engineered, and/or were complicit in the coverup of, mass murder of American citizens, in any way comparable to denying that the Nazis committed genocide against Jews. I see, people that can consider the possibility that their government would kill its own citizens are just like people who deny that the German government killed its own citizens. For a conservative, you are much too trusting of government. It's you that are in denial.

Seriously, how dare you compare Willie Nelson to a holocaust denier because he says what he believes. If you don't want to think, fine, and if you have a real argument, make it. You don't want to think and you don't have an argument, so you make a cheap slur and spit on the graves of millions that were killed by fascism.

Shame on you.

Speaking of denial

Which countries attacked a defenseless country thousands of miles away in order to occupy its land and steal its resources to control its faltering world currency hegemony killing a million innocent men, women and children by bombing, raping, shooting, burning them to death?

This question is worth 25% of your final grade.

Are you talking to me?

I'm not in denial on that. That's another argument, of course -- why would a government willing to kill so many in another country hesitate to kill relatively few here. I just think it is crazy that people who are trying to fight fascism are associated with denial of fascism.

But I see your point -- the Nazis committed genocide and now we are in Iraq. I say "we" because I have a sense of responsibility for what my government does, even though I have no more control over it than a German citizen did in 1942, not really. The only difference is that under the more effective Friendly Fascism, at least so far, I can say this without getting imprisoned or killed.

I'm thinking you were talking to him now. Look what you made me do - you owe me a smoke when we get to the camp.

talking to him

was I . . . . and trying to make another point . . . I see the confusion. I also actively opposed the war from the get go.

Hi Rob,

Apparently, the codswallop put forward by the Bush Administration regarding 9/11 is more to your liking. This requires a certain lack of intellectual rigor on your end, of which, I am sure you are capable.

To believe that version of reality, you must accept the contradictions of military brass about what happened that day;

Here are the earlier claims made by the military--as represented at a Commission hearing in May of 2003 by Colonel Alan Scott and Major General Larry Arnold--followed by the contrary information provided by the tapes:

(1) The military’s earlier claim: When fighter jets at Langley Air Force Base in Virginia were scrambled at 9:24 that morning, they were scrambled in response to word from the FAA that possibly either AA 77 (as implied by Colonel Scott) or UA 93 (as stated by General Arnold) had been hijacked and was headed towards Washington.

What the tapes indicate: NEADS did not learn that AA 77 and UA 93 had been hijacked until after they had crashed. The Langley fighters were instead scrambled in response to “phantom AA 11”--that is, to a false report that AA 11 had not struck the World Trade Center and was instead headed towards Washington.

(2) The military’s earlier claim: Having learned from the FAA about the hijacking of UA 93 at 9:16, NEADS was tracking it and was in position to shoot it down if necessary. (Although the claim about the 9:16 notification is not reflected in NORAD’s timeline--which instead has “N/A”--both Arnold and Scott made this claim in their May 2003 testimony.)

What the tapes indicate: NEADS, far from learning of the possible hijacking of UA 93 at 9:16, at which time it had not yet been hijacked, did not receive this information until 10:07, four minutes after UA 93 had crashed. So NEADS could not have had fighter jets tracking it.

(3) The military’s earlier claim: NEADS was prepared to act on a command, issued by Vice President Cheney, to shoot down UA 93.

What the tapes indicate: There was no command to shoot down UA 93 before it crashed. Cheney was not notified about the possible hijacking of this flight until 10:02, only one minute before it crashed, and the shoot-down authorization was not given by him until many minutes after UA had crashed.

Assuming that the newly released tapes provide the definitive account of NEADS’ conversations on 9/11, the implications go far beyond the conclusion that Colonel Scott and General Arnold made false statements to the 9/11 Commission, evidently deliberately (Commission members, pointing out that the military had reviewed the tapes, dismiss the view that Scott and Arnold could have simply been confused). http://tinyurl.com/2csksh

Are you OK with that?

The story of how 9/11 was planned, (according to the 9/11 Commission), is based on the torture of the key 9/11 suspects;

Those subjected to waterboarding were suspected Sept. 11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and senior al Qaeda leaders Abu Zubaydah and Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri, Hayden said at the Senate hearing on threats to the United States. http://tinyurl.com/2t4syb

The torture model that the CIA used was based on an earlier program from the Cold War;

Nevertheless, the SERE experts’ theories were apparently put into practice with Zubaydah’s interrogation. Zubaydah told the Red Cross that he was not only waterboarded, as has been previously reported; he was also kept for a prolonged period in a cage, known as a “dog box,” which was so small that he could not stand. According to an eyewitness, one psychologist advising on the treatment of Zubaydah, James Mitchell, argued that he needed to be reduced to a state of “learned helplessness.”

Steve Kleinman, a reserve Air Force colonel and an experienced interrogator ... said that ... "...It starts with isolation. Then they eliminate the prisoners’ ability to forecast the future—when their next meal is, when they can go to the bathroom. It creates dread and dependency. It was the K.G.B. model. But the K.G.B. used it to get people who had turned against the state to confess falsely. The K.G.B. wasn’t after intelligence.”

The CIA used torture techniques designed to elicit false confessions to base the "Official Cospiracy Theory" of 9/11 on.

Are you OK with that?

Right On Willie!

He's out on a limb again. Remember it wasn't so long ago the IRS was after him.

Willie's courage is inspiring to see. He does have alot to lose ...but he has decided to be true...to himself, his country and family. Right on Willie!

I really wish Willie would turn Merle Haggard onto 911! If Merle speaks watch out! I think Merle would support the truth!

Way to speak out Willy Nelson!

That's an American.

Willie is direct & simple, which is something the "truth" movement looses when it gets
bogged down in too many details & complexities.
