"We prefer the Wars"

Gore Vidal has a way with words. He points out in the second clip, while we could spend money on developing alternatives to fossil fuels instead of war, "we prefer the wars".

In the first clip, Vidal explaiins the lack of curiosity in schools in America because "it would never be satisfied, all they get are p.r. lies....and that's supposed to be an answer." Wow!

These are clips worth watching.
