I liked the part where Gage actually calls upon the legal system to indict Shayam Sunder and others.

But, no matter how cogent or complete the arguments are these days, whenever I mention it to friends or post links on discussion boards, I'm met with stony silence. I used to get vicious arguments and ridicule, but now just silence... It's pretty strange.

Richard Gage, whose fortitude and stamina I can only admire, put on about the best press conference anyone possibly could and not even Raw Story mentions it?

Isn't this silence something more than just mainstream media censorship now? I think people must simply be overwhelmed with everything else going on the world - The Great Recession, joblessness, disgruntlement with Obama and Washington - a preoccupied general malaise about the future of the Great Society.

I just think people place this stuff in the "outlier" category in their minds. So many people are worried about their own survival and they are increasingly dependent upon their government for it. Yet, this 911 forensic evidence suggests we, as a people, prosecute this villain on which we are so reliant to weather these scary times.

Gage, Griffin, Jones... They all said that they expected a great deal of attention on this subject in 2010. What if they are just met with a mass wall of dumb silence from everyone , rigged media or not? What then?

The truth movement has been declaring they were lied to, and rightly so, for years. There is nothing newsworthy in that story, that is nothing new about that claim.

The good news is that the movement is now beginning to take or consider taking real legal actions to challenge the "system" about those lies.

It will not be easy because 9/11 was declared an act of war. There is no legal requirement to investigate an act of war, or consider the site of the attacks as a crime scene unless perhaps WMDs were used. Declaring 9/11 as an act of war was a brilliant and clever tactic of the perps, which immediately galvanized the public in patriotic fervor to seek revenge and defeat the enemy.

The other hurdle is the enormous fear that terrorism instills in people by its random nature. Once we believe we are engaged in a war with terrorists, it causes people do accept whatever their government prescribes to ensure their safety. And then with some follow on false slag attacks they are able to re inforce this fear and obeisance in the public.

And for those who will entertain that we were lied to, the thought that it was perhaps done by our government, or with their knowledge makes them even more fearful as they realize that those who they look to for security may have been involved in the murder of 3,000 innocents like you and me and would obviously not give a second thought to killing more if it meant keeping the lid on what happened.

There is good reason to fear here.

..................and moved on? What can you say to those that did?........... The topic of 9/11 is how we expose the corruption of the past half century. This is a topic that to any American if they only take the time to look can see what is exceptionally obvious.
If they can do this, what else are they capable of?
It's time for the truth in America.

David Ray Griffin mentioned this paper during his address at the luncheon. Read it! You will be shocked at the blatancy with which he advocates such Orwellian tactics as "countermisinformation" and "cognitive infiltration":

Abstract:
Many millions of people hold conspiracy theories; they believe that powerful people have worked together in order to withhold the truth about some important practice or some terrible event. A recent example is the belief, widespread in some parts of the world, that the attacks of 9/11 were carried out not by Al Qaeda, but by Israel or the United States. Those who subscribe to conspiracy theories may create serious risks, including risks of violence, and the existence of such theories raises significant challenges for policy and law. The first challenge is to understand the mechanisms by which conspiracy theories prosper; the second challenge is to understand how such theories might be undermined. Such theories typically spread as a result of identifiable cognitive blunders, operating in conjunction with informational and reputational influences. A distinctive feature of conspiracy theories is their self-sealing quality. Conspiracy theorists are not likely to be persuaded by an attempt to dispel their theories; they may even characterize that very attempt as further proof of the conspiracy. Because those who hold conspiracy theories typically suffer from a crippled epistemology, in accordance with which it is rational to hold such theories, the best response consists in cognitive infiltration of extremist groups. Various policy dilemmas, such as the question whether it is better for government to rebut conspiracy theories or to ignore them, are explored in this light.
