Four U.S. Congressional Candidates from Arizona Support a Truly Independent Reinvestigation of All 9/11 Evidence and Events - Press Release (PDF attached to this post)

Tucson, AZ, Oct. 22, 2006 - Statewide results of the 2006 Congressional Candidate 9/11 Truth Poll are in. The survey was conducted by 911Truth-Tucson by mailing questionnaires to the winners of the recent Arizona primary races for US House and Senate in all Arizona congressional districts. The surveys were provided by 911Truth.org -- a leading national 9/11 Truth group. The survey asked candidates for their opinions regarding the attacks of September 11 and the official investigations that followed.

Five candidates responded to the poll:

Are you aware of the 9/11 Truth movement among victim family members, researchers, and ordinary citizens, or any of the evidence of U.S. government involvement in the attacks that they would like investigated? (YES – Mack, Yannone, Karg, Severin, Nolan)

Are you aware that many prominent Americans and 45% of the public say they would like to see a new and truly independent 9/11 inquiry, specifically one that also examines the case for government foreknowledge and complicity? (YES - Mack,Yannone, Karg, Severin, Nolan)

Do you believe that government truth issues – ranging from 9/11, anthrax, and the Patriot Act to the Iraq war, surveillance encroachments, legislative deceptions, and other administration initiatives – may all be significantly related? (YES - Yannone, Karg, Severin, Nolan; UNCERTAIN - Mack)

If you are successful in November, would you support a truly independent victim-family supervised and subpoena-empowered re-investigation of all the 9/11 evidence and events? (YES – Mack Yannone, Severin, Nolan; NO - Karg)

Given the evidence for, and the significance of, potential government involvement, are you willing to make the demand for a new 9/11 inquiry an important issue in your campaign? (YES - Mack, Yannone, Karg; NO - Severin, Nolan)

Would you accept campaign volunteers largely motivated by our democracy's tactical and strategic need for 9/11 truth? (YES – Mack, Yannone, Nolan; NO – Karg, Severin)

Would you be willing to accept and endorse the distribution of well-documented 9/11 Truth materials in your electoral district? (YES – Yannone, Severin; NO – Mack, Karg; MAYBE - Nolan)

911Truth-Tucson is a non-profit, non-partisan association whose mission is to increase public awareness of the omissions and distortions in the official explanations of the attacks on September 11, 2001. 911Truth-Tucson advocates a criminal investigation of these attacks and the associated crimes that is consistent with all substantive evidence and the laws of physics.

Maybe he does support an

Maybe he does support an investigation by not a "victim-family-supervised" investigation but rather by a third party . Those questions are very hard to answer because if you say no to just one point you have to say no to all the question.

Why only Arizona?

Why have these questions not been asked of candidates in other states. Only a week before the elections. I know Susan Davis, Democrat San Diego. Will not take a position on the issue of a new investigation.

Obviously the conspirators wanted an in on the ground floor

Of the truth movement--how else would they plant the seeds of its demise? I mean, that was their plan anyway, and I think everyone has their suspicions, but it's irrelevant and even harmful to dwell on that--just focus on the issues and don't let anyone try to throw their weight around to try to influence other truthers. Focus on facts, not personalities, and the infiltrators are neutralized and make themselves pretty obvious to boot. The no-planers may seem like the most likely candidates and may well be, but no conspirators worth their salt would pin their hopes on them. More likely is that the no-planers are the straw men for the real infiltrators to knock about in order to achieve credibility without discussing real issues. Each and every truther has to take it upon themselves to winnow out the WHOLE truth and make sure it sees the light of day, while at the same time not allowing things to devolve into sectarian bickering. This is best done by always being polite even when disagreeing on topics of real importance. Let the facts speak for themselves--don't be baited into ugly confrontations, etc. Constantly ask yourself--What would David Ray Griffin say/do? :)
