BOSTON/NEW ENGLAND ACTIVISTS TO STAGE 9/11 TRUTH TEA PARTY

In the spirit of American patriots who on December 16, 1773 rebuked the lack of representation and tyranny to which the colonies were subjected by Great Britain, by tossing crates of British tea into Boston Harbor, the Boston 9/11 Truth Committee will enact a "9/11 Truth Tea Party" on December 16, 2006, calling on "all American Sons and Daughters of Liberty to cast-off the tyranny, deceit and lies imposed on the American public by way of the official 9/11 Commission Report."

The Boston 9/11 Truth Committee is a citizens' activist organization, which, along with its national counterpart, 911 Truth.org, is highly critical of the omissions and distortions of the official 9/11 Commission Report released in 2004. Joining forces with 9/11 victim families who brought about the creation of the original 911 Commission investigation, their primary demand is for elected and appointed government officials to immediately initiate an exhaustive, transparent, all-encompassing reinvestigation of the tragic events of September 11, 2001.

Among the questions being raised by the 9/11 Truth movement are:

-How could the Twin Towers collapse when they were specifically designed to withstand the impact of a commercial airliner and ensuing fire?

-How did these 110-story Twin Towers “pancake” collapse in 9.5 seconds (near-freefall speed) without the use of controlled demolition (explosives)?

-How could the 47-story Tower #7 collapse in 6.5 seconds (near freefall speed) due to small fires alone, when no other steel-framed high-rise building in history has collapsed due to small or large fires?

-If not metal-slicing explosives, what caused molten metal to pool in the basements of all three towers, when their fires were only half the temperature required to melt steel?

-How could our Air National Guard, which in the year prior to the attacks successfully intercepted more than 50 errant aircraft within minutes, fail to intercept even one of the flights on 9-11-01?

-How could the most guarded airspace on the planet, the Pentagon, with its own missile defense system, be penetrated and attacked by anything or anyone?

Boston 9/11 Truth is part of a rapidly growing international movement of scientists, engineers, academics, civilian and military officials, and concerned citizens who believe that the 9/11 Commission conclusions are scientifically implausible and suspiciously lack answers to questions it was charged to investigate. Among the plethora of patriotic Americans stepping forward to make their voices heard is Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer (U.S. Army, [ret]), a former military intelligence officer for the Defense Intelligence Agency, who, in testimony before the House Armed Services Committee last February, stated, “the 9/11 [Commission] staff refused to perform any in-depth review of investigation of the issues that were identified to them. … It was their job to do a thorough investigation of these claims – not to simply dismiss them based on what many now believe was a 'preconceived' conclusion to the 9/11 story they wished to tell." Paul Craig Roberts, Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Treasury under Ronald Reagan and former Associate Editor of the Wall Street Journal has observed "there are not many editors eager for writers to explore the glaring defects of the 9/11 Commission Report. One would think that if the report could stand analysis, there would not be a taboo against calling attention to the inadequacy of its explanations." According to an Oct. 2006 New York Times/CBS News poll, 53% of Americans think the government is hiding something related to 9/11, while 28% think the government is mostly lying about 911.

In keeping with the defiance and patriotic symbolism of the 1773 activists, 9/11Truth Tea Party proclamations will be posted throughout Boston prior to the "Tea Party." At 11:30 a.m. on December 16, 9/11 Patriots will gather at Faneuil Hall to hear the 911Truth Tea Party Proclamation read publicly. They will then march along the Freedom Trail, through Boston Common and Downtown Crossing to the original Tea Party site at the Seaport Ave. Bridge over Fort Point Channel, carrying crates containing copies of the 9/11 Commission Report. There, spokespersons will cast a larger-than-life size replica of the 9/11 Commission Report into Boston Harbor. The event will conclude with teams of 9/11 Patriots casting crates of 9/11 Reports into the harbor.
