Yea I think I'll give that a shot. And for those people who don't understand, I'm not attacking Barrett for a couple of decisions he's made, this is just a productive objection that I think needs voicing.

Ok objective criticism is one thing, but this is a bit hysterical. It really sets me on edge when I hear the same mental doors close upon hearing certain names (Fetzer, Wood, Siegel,) That we have all heard close when we first talked to our friends and loved ones about 9/11 truth. It is perhaps a bit foolish to completely disregard everything said by these people just because you do not share the same opinion on wether Col. Mustard used the knife or the candlestick in the dining room. I have my own opinions on what/who seems to have more credibility, (Tarpley #1) But we should perhaps all make an effort to be civil to each other and respect each others opinions. Free discourse is the best chance we have to find the truth.

We should be reaching out to the rest of the activist community at this point, not fighting amongst ourselves.

is not "fighting amongst ourselves" - you can choose to view it that way, many will not. Reynolds has repeatedly attacked Steven Jones while promoting bad science, going on FOX News to tell the world about cartoon planes, etc. Not everyone who comes along claiming to represent 9/11 truth is going to have our best interests at heart. The movement will self-regulate.

Under what basis does he attack Jones? Surely it isn't based on the traditional "He worked for the man" argument that has so much credibility.

I'm not hearing any of this in context besides, all I see is Barrett getting talked to like he let us down for committing a Reynolds/Icke thought crime. It's his website, not ours.

That's from a quick glance over one of Reynold's alleged scientific papers (other notable lowlights include stills from Looney Toons). He authored a piece with Wood calling Jones "retarded" - great science. There's probably more but I'm really not interested in looking for it.

One might also consider Reynolds' ongoing concerted effort to distort Jones' work as an attack.

Defend Reynolds (and Barrett's right to promote Reynolds' material) all you want - but please, spare us the thought crime business.
