THE TIME TO ACT IS NOW

To place a public referendum for an impartial, independent and subpoena powered investigation of 9/11 on the New York City Ballot for the November General Election.

The 9/11 Commission was set up in 2002 to “provide the fullest possible account of the events surrounding 9/11”. What we got instead, in the words of Commission Chairs Governor Thomas Kean and Representative Lee Hamilton, was a Commission “Set up to fail”. A joint statement from both sides of the aisle is a rarity. This one speaks volumes.

AMERICA DESERVES BETTER

Today, over 66% of New York City residents support a new 9/11 investigation. Millions now know that critical questions were left unaddressed. Only an objective, independent, subpoena powered investigation can ask the right people the relevant questions the 9/11 Commission certainly did not. Only an impartial investigation, free from intervention and powered by subpoena, can deliver the answers that every American deserves.

A total auditorium capacity crowd of 42,000 at London’s Excel Centre listened to 9/11 Survivor, William Rodriguez, during the international two-day Global Peace & Unity Event , organized and sponsored by the Islam Channel. This was William Rodriguez’s third appearance at the GPU event . During his visit to UK he made appearances in National Media and held meetings for activists and celebrities.

9/11 Truther Lawyer - Philip Berg - Files Suit Alleging Obama Disqualified

Nice. The only problem is that Mr. Berg has not been William's lawyer for about two years.

In the film Zero: 9/11, the producers also made a mistake by billing Mr. Berg as William's lawyer as well. When William was interviewed for the film, he was not advised that Mr. Berg was being billed as such.

William Rodriguez was in Italy over the past few days, attending an International Conference of Neurosurgeons, where he talked to a crowd of 500 world-class neurosurgeons about the toxic effects of ground zero dust on 9/11 survivors. Following his talk in Rome, he travelled by train to attend a screening of Zero: An Investigation into 9/11, with the filmmakers.

Shortly after his return from Italy, Rodriguez was scheduled to appear at the fund raiser for the NYC 9/11 Ballot Initiative. While attending the fund raiser, Rodriguez was approached for an interview by a woman he did not recognize. Rodriguez was still recovering from his trans-continental flight, so he declined the interview.

Despite the fact that Rodriguez had declined the interview, the woman continued to disrespectfully pressure Rodriguez until she was escorted out of St. Mark's Church. It turns out that the person pushing for an interview was none other than one Paula Gloria, associate of Nico Haupt.

Once Rodriguez found out who she was, he made it clear that she does not have permission to use any footage of him captured at St. Mark's, and spoke to her in a very frank manner about her recent appearance on Howard Stern's radio show, which was an embarrassment for the entire 9/11 Truth community. This attempt at harassment toward Rodriguez was a failure.

William Rodriguez brought his firsthand 9/11 experience to the landmark Lakewood Theater in Dallas, TX last night. Organized by North Texans for 911 Truth, Rodriguez led the audience through his remarkable day at the Towers, and spoke about his last European tour, which wound up being a mini-World Tour, as he was invited to Malaysia just last weekend to speak to many top politicians in that country, as well as a very interested citizenry.

Rodriguez spoke well of his UK experience (his second tour of the UK in the past year) and reported on how his banned media appearance in Grange turned into a media coup, as he drew the largest crowd of the tour. Rodriguez made it onto George Galloway's The Real Deal, along the way, and did a couple radio spots as well.

It really is a positive and powerful experience to see and hear Rodriguez convey his message of bravery, survival and perseverance as a champion of the survivors of the WTC destruction. If you have only seen Rodriguez on video, and the opportunity to see him live comes your way, I highly recommend taking advantage of the opportunity to meet this remarkable and very personable man. Following Rodriguez, Josh Reeves premiered his documentary, New World Rising, which was well-received, and which I need to take a closer look at now that I have a DVD copy. :)

A Muslim man left his car overnight in a parking garage on July 5, 2007. When he went to go retrieve it on the 6th, he was detained by a phalanx of police, ushered to a van and interrogated. The bomb squad was on the scene, seriously considering detonating his car.

They saw a power inverter sitting in the backseat, but what apparently put the situation over the top was that the man had a flyer advertising William Rodriguez's speaking tour sitting beside the inverter in the backseat. The flyer was described to the man as "terrorist literature" by the police during his interrogation.

Twin towers survivor’s visit and talk a success

A PEACE campaigner says the recent visit to Grange by an American who was the last to escape from the 9/11 Twin Towers attack in New York proved a success.

Penny Pullen, from Kirkhead Road, helped arrange the visit to Grange to address a public meeting by twin towers hero William Rodriguez.

The visit of the American janitor, who believes there was a conspiracy involving the US government in the 9/11 attacks, hit controversy when he was banned from a Grange hotel.

Mr Rodriguez was told he was not welcome at the Graythwaite Manor Hotel because of his “political views”.

For the last two months, William Rodriguez has been presenting all over the UK, and into Europe, in France and Germany.

Instead of taping the View yesterday, Rodriguez traveled to Washington to lend his voice for those demanding Federal aid for the 9/11 First Responders. (Did anybody happen to notice that the President's press conference pre-empted the View yesterday? What a coincidence. Even had the show gone ahead, there would have been for all intents and purposes, no show.)

After his trip to DC, Rodriguez taped two interviews about the First Responders in Spanish. One was broadcast on Univision International, and the NY local, Channel 41. (YouTube links after the jump.)

Following several successful meetings, William Rodriguez and Daniel Sunjata have decided to work together on a series of 9/11-related video projects. Beyond the partnership of Sunjata and Rodriguez, it is still unknown as to who else is involved behind the scenes.

We're told that some of the projects will be focused on challenging Rodriguez's detractors.

Another very high-profile celebrity, donated 2 HD cameras for the project and filmaker Jonathan Kerr-Smith donated his talent to film the projects. An effort will be launched later this week to raise the remaining funds needed.

With an increasingly public profile, Rodriguez is a very recognizable spokesperson internationally for people who are questioning the official story of 9/11.
