Answers in Absolute for ‘Why 9/11?’: Why ‘some’ Still Question, Seek Answer(s) & Accountability by Sibel Edmonds
Friday, 12. August 2011
For ‘some’ reason I have been receiving more than a few ‘eye-rolling’ responses when I mention our theme for the month leading up to September 11- the tenth year. You and I know where the conscious but mostly subconscious eye-rolling and in some cases eye-aversion reactions come from. A very few bold ones are courageous enough to actually put this reaction into words. They ask ‘why can’t some people just let it go?’ They comment, ‘enough already with this 9/11 subject!’ Many of these same people are actually very outspoken and active in combating civil liberties related issues and abuses such as NSA Illegal Domestic Wiretapping, Rendition and Torture, FBI National Security Letters, TSA’s outrageous abuses …and the long list goes on. However, for ‘some’ reason they see ‘this 9/11 thing’ as a pointless nuisance, and wonder why some people don’t give up and keep bringing ‘it’ up. After all, the majority of these people consider 9/11 as ‘case closed,’ and a few regard it as a ‘cold case.’
(AP) The ceremony at the World Trade Center site marking the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks will be a solemn but stately event that will include President Barack Obama and a chance for victims' families to view the names of loved ones etched into the new memorial, Mayor Michael Bloomberg said. President Barack Obama and Bloomberg will be joined by the leaders in charge during the 2001 attacks, including former President George W. Bush, former Mayor Rudolph Giuliani and former New York Gov. George Pataki. Current New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie will also be there, he said.Speaking on his weekly radio show Friday on WOR-AM, Bloomberg said the lawmakers will read short poems or quotes. No speeches will be given. Today I am joined by Susan Wolfe, who is organising the massive 9/11 truth gathering for We Are Change in New York, scheduled to coincide with the 10th anniversary of 9/11. Susan is attempting to make this event a landmark in the history of the 9/11 truth movement, and she is taking all steps to help people get to New York and find accommodation.
News on the planned events can be found on the website NYC for 9/11 Truth.
During our interview we get into some really interesting topics around the issue of 911 truth activism - I'm sure you'll find the listen worthwhile.
Susan can be contacted via her facebook profile.
TNRA will be doing another show on Wednesady dedicated to the No Carbon Tax rally which is taking place in Hyde Park, Sydney on 2nd April - so please check the website again later in the week.
Thanks for listening!
This is an editorial found in a Texas Newspaper. This is the kind of letters we should all be writing to our local media outlets. Good job, Larry!
WeAreChange presents: Our Lives Post 9/11 Conference in NYC
The 5th annual charity fundraiser by WeAreChange is back and bigger than ever this year.
Guest speakers include Richard Gage AIA, George Galloway, Charlie Veitch, Jason Bermas, Cindy Sheehan, Cynthia McKinney, 9/11 family members, 9/11 first responders, and many more in the works:
This week Doug Lain from the Diet Soap podcast and KMO of the C-realm podcast discuss 9/11 conspiracies on both their respective shows. There is a special emphasis on the pervasive resistance to critically engage with the subject, and an analysis of how leading alternative thinkers and dissidents seem unable to think critically on the subject. The C-Realm podcast is here and the Diet Soap podcast is here.

Speakers, Activists to Rally at White House on 9/11 Anniversary
A mass rally to commemorate the anniversary of 9/11 will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2007, from noon to 3:00 p.m. at Lafayette Park, in front of the White House. The rally is sponsored by dc911truth.org and will feature speeches by a number of leading authors and activists. It is part of similar commemorations being held on the 11th and on preceding days in New York and other major cities worldwide.
This event is the result of the collaboration of the 911truth movement with members of the antiwar and impeachment movements. The message of the event is three-fold: Impeach the Bush administration, end the war, and re-investigate the crimes of September 11, 2001.
