9/11 wars

Using 9/11 To Lie Us Into War

How many people have we killed that had nothing to do with 9/11? Stop ALL of the wars NOW!!!

5-minute video: US ‘leaders’ JOKE about OBVIOUS War Crimes, war lies, war murders: Arrest them

http://www.washingtonsblog.com/2014/02/5-minute-video-us-leaders-joke-obvious-war-crimes-war-lies-war-murders-arrest.html

In this 5-minute video, Presidents Bush and Obama, Secretary of State and presidential-hopeful Ms. Clinton, presidential-hopeful has-been John McCain, and former Secretary of State and Bush family friend James Baker all joke about:

Ready for victory? Or do you uphold unlawful wars, bankster economics, dishonored rights?

You all took at least one US Government class. You learned US federal government is limited in power by our Constitution. “Limited government” prevents unlimited or dictatorial power.

Given our unalienable rights and Constitution, We the People have a choice: either honor and uphold our freedoms under law, or surrender to “emperor has no clothes” obvious criminals. Many Americans have Oaths to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.”

Are you ready for victory now? Or do you choose to support and defend crimes that annually kill millions, harm billions, and loot trillions of our dollars while destroying our honor and damning our children to tyranny?

You are capable of verifying the simplest of facts, and will quickly recognize and confirm the following US acts are obvious crimes:

Martin King’s family: share civil trial case that US govt assassinated Martin

Coretta Scott King: “We have done what we can to reveal the truth, and we now urge you as members of the media, and we call upon elected officials, and other persons of influence to do what they can to share the revelation of this case to the widest possible audience.” - King Family Press Conference, Dec. 9, 1999.
From the King Center on the family’s civil trial that found the US government guilty in Martin’s assassination:

After four weeks of testimony and over 70 witnesses in a civil trial in Memphis, Tennessee, twelve jurors reached a unanimous verdict on December 8, 1999 after about an hour of deliberations that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated as a result of a conspiracy. In a press statement held the following day in Atlanta, Mrs. Coretta Scott King welcomed the verdict, saying , “There is abundant evidence of a major high level conspiracy in the assassination of my husband, Martin Luther King, Jr. And the civil court's unanimous verdict has validated our belief. I wholeheartedly applaud the verdict of the jury and I feel that justice has been well served in their deliberations. This verdict is not only a great victory for my family, but also a great victory for America. It is a great victory for truth itself. It is important to know that this was a SWIFT verdict, delivered after about an hour of jury deliberation. The jury was clearly convinced by the extensive evidence that was presented during the trial that, in addition to Mr. Jowers, the conspiracy of the Mafia, local, state and federal government agencies, were deeply involved in the assassination of my husband. The jury also affirmed overwhelming evidence that identified someone else, not James Earl Ray, as the shooter, and that Mr. Ray was set up to take the blame. I want to make it clear that my family has no interest in retribution. Instead, our sole concern has been that the full truth of the assassination has been revealed and adjudicated in a court of law… My husband once said, "The moral arc of the universe is long, but it bends toward justice." To-day, almost 32 years after my husband and the father of my four children was assassinated, I feel that the jury's verdict clearly affirms this principle. With this faith, we can begin the 21st century and the new millennium with a new spirit of hope and healing.”

KING FAMILY STATEMENT ON MEDIA REQUESTS REGARDING THE MEMPHIS VERDICT

The King family stands firmly behind the civil trial verdict reached by twelve jurors in the Memphis, Tennessee courtroom on December 8, 1999.

‘War’ word origin is ‘confusion’: how 1% wage war on 99%, how to end war

*hyperlinks and video live at source: http://www.washingtonsblog.com/2012/11/war-word-origin-is-confusion-how-1-wage-war-on-99-how-to-end-war.html

Imagine this:

Political and media 1% proclaim they “see something” to the 99%.
The 1% also claim that the naive, weak, and stupid will not “see it.”
The 99% do not have access to the facts, at first, and trust their “leaders.”
The 99% eventually look to see the naked facts, and in growing voices easily refute the 1% with concise truth:

“The emperor has no clothes.”

This allegory is the status of our real-world political and media 1% in their “war on terror” that they claim to see and only the naive do not. Importantly, the 99%’s growing voices are easily refuting the 1%’s claims as naked lies for unlawful Wars of Aggression. The last missing step is critical mass ignition from the 99% to refuse the lies and wars, and either arrest or accept the surrender of the 1% War Criminals.

The word “war” has its origin as meaning “confusion.”

US Wars of Aggression were only possible from public confusion of the facts; especially the fact of war law:

Countering Rhetorical Tricks - "9/11 and the Successful War"

(Washington, DC) Stratfor Global Intelligence just published an essay announcing that the nation's rulers have conducted a "successful war" on terror following the events of 9/11. The author, CEO and Stratfor founder, George Friedman, dressed up the standard Bush - Cheney justification for the past ten years of foreign misadventures and domestic decline

"…one of the most extraordinary facts of the war that begin on 9/11 was that there have been no more successful major attacks on the United States." George Friedman, September 6

That's the argument pure and simple. How do you counter that?

First, the statement excludes the most important fact about 9/11. It was a "successful major attack on the United States." The event caused human tragedies accompanied by the shock that the most powerful nation on earth left its centers of governance and finance unprotected.

Friedman and those he defends have one overriding imperative in discussing 9/11, exclude the event itself as a topic of discussion. Move on as though history starts after the successful attacks. Never ever let the topic focus on Bush administration's command negligence surrounding 9/11.

US soldiers: Lawful orders do not exist in unlawful wars

hyperlinks and video live at source: http://www.examiner.com/nonpartisan-in-national/us-soldiers-lawful-orders-are-impossible-unlawful-wars

US War Crimes: US political leadership is engaged in “emperor has no clothes” unlawful wars in Afghanistan and Iraq that have escalated into Pakistan, Yemen, and with rhetoric to attack Iran that darkly includes use of nuclear weapons in official first-strike policy. The US has abandoned its exercise of power under the US Constitution. Millions of Americans recognize this condition, but as yet a critical mass of Americans either do not recognize the facts or cannot articulate what they perceive into effective civic action. The educational stakes are whether the US will exist as a Constitutional Republic under the law, or as an unlawful empire.

The wars are not close to lawful, and political rhetoric is often in Orwellian opposition to the facts. One of the first academic leaders to explain the obvious is Francis Boyle, Harvard-educated (Ph.D in political science and J.D.) international law professor. His outrage is expressed in the title of his article, Is Bush’s War Illegal? Let us Count the Ways:

Are US wars, economic disaster well-intended mistakes? What we know from facts

The American public struggles with political rhetoric and US corporate media to discern fact from spin.

“As I grow older, I pay less attention to what men say. I just watch what they do.” unsourced and attributed to Andrew Carnegie

What US “leadership” has done are the following:

from Congressional reports we now know that all “reasons” for war with Afghanistan and Iraq were known to be lies as they were told.

allows a million children a month to die of preventable poverty, even though historically ending poverty reduces population growth rate and the investment is less than 1% of the developed nations' gross national incomes (GNI).

engages in Orwellian unlawful wars, including using depleted uranium weapons to damn the victims with continuous misery and death.

tortures, orders extrajudicial assassinations (including against American citizens) and acts for indefinite detentions.

US lied for war in Iraq, lies for war in Iran, beware Korea war lies

hyperlinks and video live at source: http://www.examiner.com/la-county-nonpartisan-in-los-angeles/us-lied-for-war-iraq-lies-for-war-iran-beware-korea-war-lies

If you don’t know that all “reasons” for war with Iraq were known to be lies as they were told, you’re unaware of the admissions of our own US government agencies.

If you don’t know that all “reasons” for war with Iran are known to be lies as they are being told now, you’re unaware of the admissions of our own US government agencies along with international agencies, and the uncontested content of a speech by Iran’s President that you can confirm with less than five-minutes of attention poses zero threat to “wipe Israel off the map.”

If you don't know that current US wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are not even close to lawful, and that any attack on Iran would also be unlawful, you're unaware of arguably the most important law for American citizens to understand (and it's easier to know than what makes a baseball base-runner safe or out at first base).

September 11th and the National Debt

For the victim’s families, the costs of the September 11th attacks were incomprehensibly high. There were many other costs apart from precious human lives, however, and people often forget just how much we are all paying on an ongoing basis due to the attacks which originated the “Global War on Terror.”
An organization linked to former CIA director James Woolsey estimated that the damages associated with the attacks were on the order of $2 trillion. Those costs included losses in property damage, lost production of goods and services, and losses on Wall Street. [1] Others have estimated the damages to be much lower, [2] and some have reported that the stock market was largely unaffected by the attacks. [3] The Lower Manhattan Development Corporation was given an amount closer to the lower estimates in order to help rebuild the immediate area.[4]
The current US military costs resulting from the wars that were started in response to the September 11th attacks are over $1 trillion.[5] Of course, other countries have also incurred significant costs to support the US led wars. A few years ago, mainstream media sources were estimating that the Iraq War alone would cost the US more than $3 trillion.[6] If the same logic is applied to the Afghanistan war, using the same rate, that war will cost the US at least $1 trillion. Of course, there is no end in sight for US military operations in either of these occupied countries, so these figures should be seen as minimum estimates. Additionally, these war cost estimates are called incremental costs, meaning that they are above “military salaries, training and support activities, and weapons procurement” as well as military construction.[7]

Mothers: ending war is the source of Mother’s Day. War is illegal. Mothers: demand justice, peace

Ending unlawful US wars is similar to the work of the Civil Rights Movement: both are functions of transformative civic education inside and outside of classrooms, transformative media communication, and transformative political education and policy. Both are founded upon honor and enforcement of historical legislative victories. For Civil Rights, the 1868 14th Amendment to the US Constitution promised equal protection under the law and was willfully ignored.

Ending war is founded upon the 1945 legislative victory of the United Nations Charter (UN). War is illegal, except under a narrow legal definition of self-defense from another nation’s armed attack until the UN Security Council (UNSC) can act. I cite expert testimony to explain the "emperor has no clothes," and cite the law compared with the evidence for everyone to understand here. Obviously, the US is in violation.

U.S. Soldiers ARE Waking Up! "The real terrorist was me, and the real terrorism is this occupation."

This is a really powerful and heartbreaking video with which to bid farewell to this sad, war torn decade.

Posted to Youtube on Christmas Eve.

Incidentally, as I'm watching and listening to this, particularly the soldiers who are reflecting on racism, I can't help but think: Those "blue voting, left-of-center, antiwar, anti-Bush admin" citizens out there who still cling to the OCT of 9/11 and insist that "9/11 truthers are discrediting the antiwar movement and making us look crazy," are likely stalling the speed of our success more than the Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh dittoheads.
