Austin, Texas - Presidential Hopeful Barack Obama was surrounded by the "Investigate 9/11" Question during an otherwise energetic-- and, for a "grassroots" campaign, curiously well-coordinated-- campaign rally in Austin, Texas.

STOCKBRIDGE — As much as "mainstream America" might wish it, the local members of the 9/11 Truth Movement say their organization is not going away anytime soon.

"(An alternate theory of the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, is) a scary thing for people to contemplate," said Renzo Del Molino. "And I understand that. The realization that people in power are trying to hurt us, and not help us, is very frightening to them. It's frightening to me."

Until there is a real investigation...each of us will spread the message.

Vancouver 9/11 Truth Movement - Making Their Mark in the Local Activist Community

The Vancouver 9/11 Truth Movement, though small and scattered, has been around for some time. Since the Spring of 2006 they have been holding regular meetings at various private locations, but since the Barrie Zwicker speaking engagement in downtown Vancouver on August 30th, and their demonstration on Robson Street on September 11th, 2006 this group has become a far more coherent activist group, and one with vision, objectives and determination.

Some have called it “60's Paradigm” (as opposed to “Information Age Paradigm”) but, for some of those demanding truth and justice in the death of Martin Anderson, sit-ins are very much a part of the deal. Could they work to open 9/11 again?

The Boston Sons of Liberty - six local men ranging in age from 20 to 27 - staged a film festival this weekend in hopes of taking on the U.S. government for its portrayal of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

Though they were all convinced in different ways, member Evan Rooney said the men, who paid for the festival out of their own pockets, believe there is more to the attacks than the government admits.

In hopes of convincing the public as well, they showed 14 little-publicized alternative media films analyzing suspicious aspects of the attacks this past weekend.

The group showed films on topics ranging from interviews with first responders to testimonies from physics professors about the nature of the towers' collapse.

They did it because the dude in the hoodie at the end of the video looked kinda like the Unabomber, that's all. They do not advocate violence in any way, or the Unabomber. The day after 500,000 plus people rallied in Washington D.C. calling for peace in the Middle East, a follow up strategy session took place at a High School not far away in Bethesda, Maryland hosted by United for Peace and Justice (UPFJ). The focus of the session was to educate Peace activists on the topics which were to be addressed during the Congressional lobbying session planned for the following day. However to the dismay of several 9/11 Truth activists in the audience, no mention was ever made of the most imperative issue of them all. UFPJ refuses to recognise 9/11 Truth as part of the Peace Movement demonstrated by the multiple requests made by D.C. 9/11 Truth and other 9/11 activists to arrange a 9/11 Truth speaker at the Peace Rally on January 27, 2007. Knowing full well the contempt held by UPFJ for the 9/11 Truth Movement, a voice of dissent made sure that 9/11 was on the UFPJ agenda!

Re: Kean event on 2/5 in Great Barrington

Thank you to all the participants in the Kean event. This was a team effort and it showed from all those who participated from our Berkshire group and the community hub leaders from Boston, North Hampton and Kean.

Many positives and lessons learned throughout this time of collaboration and community response. Our next Berkshire community hub meeting will include discussing what worked, our lessons, and how to improve. Here are some verbal snapshots.

1. Before Gov. Kean’s talk a group of about 20 meditated in the corridor, sending Light to all in the auditorium including Gov. Kean. When we finished, to my amazement, Gov. Kean actually walked into the center of our circle. He was charming and friendly, many of us in the 9/11 movement shook his hand and asked questions. Much to his credit he made himself accessible. In a way it was very satisfying to speak the truth to him (although his responses were evasive). Many in our circle had a chance to interact as he spent about ten minutes amongst us.

2. The 115 omission posters from our brothers and sisters in Boston made a great statement and captured interest. Our display in the corridor after the talk involved twenty of us holding the posters as some 500 people walked out of the auditorium, it was very effective. Then again at the reception we lined a wall holding them. Many people read some of the omissions and asked questions.

9/11 Truth was represented at the Jan 27 march in DC. This is a great shot.
