Leafletting outside Aung San Suu Ky talk in DC

Today I leafletted and bannered outside a speech by the great human rights activist and Nobel Peace Prize winner Aung San Suu Ky. She spoke at the museum for journalism called the Newseum in DC.

It was organized by Amnesty International. I had been notified most likely because I had sent emails on behalf of Georgia death row prisoner, Troy Davis, killed by Georgia about a year ago even though he was innocent.

Very few people refused to take the one eighth page leaflet. The leaflet included the title of my blog, which was also what I put on the banner, HumanRightsBeginsAtHome.blogspot.com. I also included on the leaflet the title of my article Sad Irony involving the great Aung San Suu Ky.
