Andrew W. Marshall

Andrew W. Marshall and the 9/11 Jedis

Andrew W. Marshall is the neoconservative director of the Office of Net Assessment, a think tank inside the Pentagon. He was appointed by Richard Nixon, but shepherded into the Pentagon by Henry Kissinger, and re-appointed by every president since. Marshall started his career with the RAND Corporation, before joining the Pentagon in 1973.

A list of Andrew Marshall's acolytes, so-called Jedi Knights, reads like a list of suspects for the attacks of 9/11. The list includes Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Richard Armitage, Richard Perle, Paul Wolfowitz, and Dov Zakheim. Another acolyte is James G. Roche, who served as Secretary of the Air Force from January 2001 to January 2005; before that, Roche was an executive at Northrup Grumman in the Electronic Sensors & Systems Sector.
