In the world of intelligence gathering the past never really goes away - it stays around to haunt the present and set traps for the future.

The issue of how America conducted its "war on terror" - who it tortured and detained and on whose orders - is full of such traps.

We know that Barack Obama knows this - he talks about the need to move forward rather than to look back - but that is no guarantee that he will be able to resist calls for some sort of investigation of the Bush administration's intelligence policies.

The argument from the human rights lobby and the left of the Democratic Party appears to have gained ground in Washington in the last week or so - some sort of enquiry is now necessary, they believe, to re-assert the rule of law and restore America to the moral high ground of international diplomacy.

Over 150 supporters of Scottish Stop the War Coalition and Palestinian groups have occupied the BBC headquarters in Glasgow.

They say they will not end their occupation until the BBC has reversed its decision not to broadcast an emergency aid appeal for Gaza. The protesters are demanding to meet with a senior representative of the BBC.

Mike Rudin, producer of the BBC 9/11 Hit-piece 'The Third Tower', recently posted an article called 'Caught up in a conspiracy theory', in response to a video I put out - WeAreChange Debunks the BBC at Ground Zero 9/11/08. In the article, he does not deny (or even attempt to explain, in some instances), the glaring misrepresentations, distortions, and omission that we called him out on at Ground Zero. He does not apologize (as many have called for) for repeatedly exhibiting poor journalistic ethics while covering the most controversial and important issue of our time. Instead he continues to dishonor the victims of 9/11 and insult the intelligence of the BBC audience by digging a deeper hole. Very well Mike Rudin, so be it.

I've done a rebuttal to the german version of the BBC's "The Third Tower", called "Das Rätsel des dritten Turmes" broadcasted by german second television channel ZDF and their "ZDF history" format on 08/09/07.

I put all the infos we gathered together into it, and it's quite a devastating result for the ZDF- almost every claim they made was false, they used some of the same tricks like the BBC like the cut and fit for their needs of the Jennings testimony, but refused to use others, like the victims-mockery if you ask questions and refuse to believe the official narrative.

It's a 111 page .pdf with 3,7 MB, the making of the script (which the ZDF denied it has and so couldn't gave me) alone took me 4 days in a row.
My wife actually said I'm crazy. ;)

Secret advice from a foreign power, thought to be America, helped to shape the dossier that said Saddam Hussein could attack within 45 minutes and set out the case for war in Iraq.

MI6 chief John Scarlett, then chairman of the Government's Joint Intelligence Committee (JIC), turned to the foreign country as final touches were put to the now discredited dossier, it has emerged.

Yesterday the german ZDF /second german state channel brought their longer teaser for the german version of BBC/Mike Rudins take on WTC 7.

The programme cleverly glossed over awkward questions, so that its audience could retire to bed reassured that 'there's nothing to see here'.

In my view, the programme is a prime example of the Big Lie in operation.

Hi everyone,

This is the first of my posts on my Kiwi blog in reaction to the BBC Doc. about WTC 7.
In my opinion it is an amazing tool to bring more people the truth. It has brought the events to the fore again in peoples minds and the testimonies and evidence we accumulated over the years is so vast that is should not be a problem to tear the BBC doc to pieces.

Here I go; really hoping that my mind would be put too rest with this BBC documentary so that I could safely go back to being a sheeple again. It was so well made, I mean I didn’t even feel the need to hide it because it seemed so complete: Clearly a lot of time and money spend on getting it just right. Lots of specialists who clearly put in a lot of time and effort to giving us the answer we needed but than those pesky little things called facts muck it all up again. Damn. LOL.

So let’s get on with the always enjoyable task of ripping yet another well made piece of garbage apart!

Problem number 1: Barry Jennings testimony.

Barry Jennings was the Deputy Director, Emergency Services Department, New York City Housing Authority. Maybe you saw him as one of the eyewitnesses on the day of 911.

The one-hour BBC program The Third Tower should have a positive effect on spreading the truth about what happened to WTC 7. Despite its attempt to debunk by twisting and omitting facts, there is much to cheer about.

Here are 30 examples from the program:

1) There is a WTC 7, many have never heard of it.

2) No plane hit WTC 7.

3) WTC 7 fell down.

4) Several videos of WTC 7 falling down are shown.

5) The collapse is compared visually to a controlled demolition.

6) Barry Jennings tells of hearing multiple explosions in WTC 7.

7) Barry Jennings was told while in WTC 7 "Get out of there, get out of there now", which sounds very suspicious.

8) Barry Jennings' time-line is not contradicted by anything Barry Jennings says.

9) After seven years, no final report on the collapse of WTC 7 has appeared. The 9/11 Commission never mentioned the collapse of WTC 7.

10) The program will generate sales and Internet hits of 'Loose Change'.

Here is my rebuttal.

The BBC Conspiracy Files programme on the third tower was shown on the 6th July. On the surface it seemed to be a pretty fair, balanced programme but all the alternative stuff appeared at the beginning and most people would have forgotten about it by the end of the programme. The 'swiss cheese' comments about the holes in the steel was shown at the beginning to demonstrate something dodgy only to be dismissed at the end as nothing important.

Steven Jones's work wasn't given enough time and they showed a brief clip of his lecture in Boston). The positive thing about this is that the BBC have done us a huge favour by finally admitting there was a third building collapse.

Barry Jennings seems to have just exposed himself on the BBC, so this looks like it was a set-up to make us look "confused" or misrepresenting our sources. Perhaps Jennings had some other reason that just ended up making us look bad. It sounds like it was intentional since it's unlikely someone would be unclear about such a powerful detail. Some on here were pointing out what a huge issue it would be if there were bodies -- it looks like that helped everyone to accept Jennings, despite his drama and the confusing aspects of his claims.

But regardless, after he does something like this, no one should promote any of his claims.

WTC 7 isn’t the final mystery, it is one in a row of mysteries.

We do not and will not fall for anyone claiming that the case is solved with the view solely on one point!

I just put together the main valid points and hints for an inside job in the last two weeks, points that can not be debunked, as they stand straight for the seventh year after the attacks, and were nearly never touched by “debunkers”. There is no special order in that points, and I’m sure I can add another 200 ones- I’m just not in the mood for deliver hard facts to ignorants. And, BTW, I have sources for all points, valid sources, established sources. It’s no problem to research it.

1: The failing interception of the hijacked planes and the lying from NORAD and FAA. No one was held accountable.

4: Secret Service in Booker Elementary School did not evacuate Bush immediately- they know he was not in danger

Here's a new article by Mike Rudin, that's been posted on the BBC News website. It mentions that NIST says "fire fighters could not fight the fires in Tower 7, because they didn't have enough water and focused on saving lives." However, NIST's claim is incorrect. There were in fact fireboats that had been moored near the WTC the morning of 9/11, to provide water to the site. See:

The final mystery of 9/11 will soon be solved, according to US experts investigating the collapse of the third tower at the World Trade Center.

The 47-storey third tower, known as Tower Seven, collapsed seven hours after the twin towers.

Investigators are expected to say ordinary fires on several different floors caused the collapse.

Conspiracy theorists have argued that the third tower was brought down in a controlled demolition.

Unlike the twin towers, Tower Seven was not hit by a plane.

I'm very curious, the preview doesn't look too bad.

Hello out there- especially the german speaking part.

Last year on 9/11 the german channel ZDF aired their hit-piece co-produced with the BBC/Guy Smith.

It was a conglomeration of debunking phrases.

One point was interesting. I mentioned it here:

They claimed that the SFRM-spray on fireproof was missing and that was the cause for the collapse of the towers- and the conspiracy exists to cover this up.

It took me some time to work through the allegations and claims in that piece, but now my work is ready for publishing- and I'm proud tp present it here (german only so far).

It was a catastrophe, almost every claim they made could be easily debunked, when you are a real expert- not the ones they presented.

Where to begin?

First and foremost, the BBC's new special on WTC7 is currently picture locked and set for a tentative release date of June 15th, from my understanding. I had a lengthy conversation today with the producer of the special, and I must say, this will, at the very least, be much more balanced and open-minded than Guy Smith's earlier piece on the movement itself.

Also, from what I gathered, the NIST report on WTC7 is due for release in July. But that might change as well.

I need to compress and upload the footage from Dr. Griffin's event here at SDSU a few weeks ago, I've just been incredibly swamped out here with so many different priorities and objectives.

LCFC V1.1 is almost done mixing and ready for release. The fine folks at SMT Studios have been slaving away in their spare time trying to get it done as ASAP.

Also, Jason and Korey have been hard at work on Fabled Enemies. Obviously I'm only involved from an omniscient standpoint, but from what I've seen earlier this morning, it's shaping up to be a decent production.

Watch the events of September 11, 2001 unfold in real-time, complete and unedited, on the major networks, simultaneously. These streams begin about 20 minutes before the first attack, while the morning news shows go about their cheerful business of interviewing tourists, singing the Love Boat theme song, goofing off with the cast of Everybody Loves Raymond, and discussing ways to make your pets live longer...

And then the world changed.

The BBC intends to release another episode in their 9/11 debunking saga, this one dedicated to WTC7. NIST is supposedly aiming for a summer release of their final report on WTC7.

Clearly, of all the visual anomalies of 9/11 that support the notion of controlled demolition on 9/11, the implosion of WTC7 is the most graphic and convincing. Even ardent defenders of the Official Conspiracy Theory can't deny it.

If the OCT is so obviously true, why does the BBC feel the urge to spend millions of pounds hammering away at obvious fallacies?

And, slightly off topic, why isn't there ONE video of any of the alleged Arab "hijackers" getting on board ANY of the allegedly "hijacked" 9/11 planes?

The BBC's reply is below. They are basically saying that 1) I should have been prescient; and that 2), because the authorities did not see any problem with the triple coincidence under consideration, the BBC did not consider it necessary to engage in any kind of investigative journalism.

However, the BBC has considered my comment, which I submitted under the "General" category, to be about the Panorama program aired a year before the attacks. As that was not the case, I think I have grounds for re-opening the compaint.
